Upon bringing me the estimate for plumbing I asked did they install broilers. The plumbing and broiler estimate came to about 16,500. Which I was pleased with that price. After the install of the boiler one of the owners said the rest of the work would amount to 34,000. I told him he must be out of his mind. They give you a different price when they believe your insurance company will fork out that kind of money. I told them to take out the amount for the boiler install which was 6500 and write a check back to my insurance company. To date, I haven't received the check for my insurance company. My next step is court. They are not honest and have no moral values.

Jason was incredible and went above and beyond to make sure the horrendous roots in the septic line and tank AND exit pipe were cleaned out. Not only does he answer when I call, no matter if it's the middle of the night or weeekend. Then he shows up promptly. Today, he showed up within 15 minutes to assess the problem, put in a new shut off valve and returned before 5 to install the new heater. Then came back to check that it was working correctly. Then called and texted me to notify me the job was complete. Absolutely amazing service and I won't use anyone else!

Don't Call for an Emergency!…read more We called Phelps Plumbing & Heating on a Wednesday night at about 9:00 p.m., when we first noticed a broken pipe in our bathroom that was dripping water at a really fast pace. Water was flowing out of the pipe and soaking through the floor into the basement. The room in our finished basement that was directly below the leak was really wet, so wet in fact that we needed to have the room professionally cleaned the next day. We spoke with someone from Phelps who kind of laughed at our situation and said, "I don't consider that an emergency. I'm not coming out to help." He had an attitude and really didn't seem to want to assist a customer with the plumbing job. Based on his negative response and poor attitude, we crossed his name out in the phone book. I can completely understand that he may not have felt like coming out to help after hours, but his cavalier and dismissive attitude was shocking! He could have handled the call more professionally and simply said that he was unable to help. Do not use this place!!!

We called Steve telling him there is a problem ,a bad problem of sewer gas through the whole house . he told us he could not come for at least 2 to 3 days. We said it was emergency that they needed it looked into. He would not come. We had to pay another plumber to come who came immediately. Could not figure out that there was anything with the drain field or anything wrong. We had to get a smoke test done and pay for that. It ended up being his grinder pump that he did Not seal down. We are trying to send him a bill for the $300. He will not take our Messages or answer our calls or get back to us.
