My big screen TV died exactly two months after the warranty ended. Other than buying a new one, we want to responsibly recycle the broken TV. Online searches led us to here. I always have some hesitation coming to a private business such as this instead of, say, a King County transfer station. Will they have hidden fees, will they try to sell you something, will they point to a bin and tell us (not strong people) to fit it in somehow??? Well, let me tell you how EASY it was. We arrived and parked. We walked in and said we like to recycle a flat screen TV. He said, "No problem. I'll even help you unload." My jaw dropped a bit. We filled out a single line on a form. We opened the trunk. This taller and stronger than us guy singlehandedly took the TV out of our car, brought it inside, and gently placed it standing vertically on its edge in an open-top box lending against another big screen TV. That was it. Free! No cost! I was so shocked at how easy it was that I forgot to take any pictures. He was brilliant. Thank you!

The adaptor was $7.68 and it is not as strong as the ones made for impact guns. The parking lot is a little small. The parking lot for the auto zone down the street is much easier to find parking in. Advanced auto parts on evergreen way has a huge parking lot. So if you have to tinker with your car a little, that one has plenty of space. I forgot my wallet! But luckily I was able to pay with Apple Pay, thank goodness.

It was Jennifer and Christopher who assisted in getting me to the store and once they did, they checked the battery, alternator and starter to determine the problem. I learned through my own research that the charger was overheating due to a super low battery (deep cycle). The way he operates is if you know the answer to something he will agree but not offer any insight as to why something may be behaving in a certain way. He will just let you spend more money. Either that, or he didn't have the knowledge. When I asked him about this, his reply was, "I offered to test your charger". Thats like a painter who doesn't use primer because you didn't know to ask him to. I have always liked this store but lately getting any answers is like pulling teeth. I will be watching for new management as I miss the older gentleman that used to work there. Glad I pulled my old charger out of the trash.
