They offer…read moreASE-certified TNC inspections, pre-buyer inspections, diagnostic services, and general car inspections. They have three locations - Everett, Tacoma, and Burien. For the vehicle safety inspection, I didn't have to make an appointment. It was fine to do a walk-in. When I visited Emily's Garage, there was a customer who was pretty upset with the repairs and the cost. I was able to hear what the customer had to go through but I would not comment on that as I have limited information. From my experience of getting my vehicle inspected, I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to complete the vehicle inspection. It was done in less than 2 minutes, and I paid over $50 for that service. For comparison, when I had my vehicle inspected at Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, they spent over 20 minutes to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and the cost for the inspection was only $20. Will I re-visit Emily's Garage for the vehicle inspection? Probably not but if the state requires me to get the vehicle inspection done, I will probably have no choice as there are not that many shops that offer the ASE-certified inspection.

Unfortunately this has caused many dissatisfied Honda Accords owners as the issue could occur at any mileage (30k, 79k, 110k, etc.) Farshad replaced my engine and always picks up my calls (or calls me back when time permits). During my last visit and while trying to get my car fixed after the poor job they did I was so frustrated that I openly expressed my dissatisfaction in front of other customers, the front desk employee got upset because of this and refused to take the keys and told me to take my car home and expect a call from Mohammad the shop owner. For only slightly more $ for a diagnostic test than the lowest quote I got from auto shops in Everett, they came to me and saved me the towing cost, which made it a great value in the end (not to mention the time I saved by not having to leave the house or figure out care for my toddler). Trisha was able to fit me in to her schedule even earlier than she thought she'd be able to, and after determining the problem with the fuel injectors, she was able to order the parts and replace them in a timely manner. It needed lift maintenance and a couple minor parts replacements - which I knew about in advance. I was quoted a price which seemed entirely reasonable. The service guy, Alex, texted me quoting a price on the necessary parts. I guided him to a place online where the parts were significantly less expensive. He thanked me and sourced the parts there. They added no markup and completed the repairs in a reasonable amount of time. At the end of the day I knew I was going to have to drop some coin on a repair that I was not ready to do myself. I actually spent less than I thought it would cost and feel like I got a really good deal for what I paid. I am having a hard time finding the words to express my relief at not being mislead or 'taken' by a service department...which sadly seems to be the standard.
