Josh is a nice guy. He wants you to build his trust in him. We ordered a special ordered piece of furniture that we waited months for. We paid a requested deposit for the order. When the piece came in Josh would not deliver and setup at our home without full payment. I suggested paying by cashier's check at the time of setup and delivery but he would not except the payment. We did not trust the situation. I request to Josh to cancel the order and he refunded our down payment. We went ahead and ordered the same piece from another store that would take our payment at time of setup and delivery for less money and shorter wait time for product. Please beware. read more

I love going to this store and Josh is always a great person to talk to. We recently decided to purchase a bedroom set and mattress from here since the furniture was solid wood, even though it was a bit more than Ashley's. Didn't get josh to help us but some other guy who wasn't as friendly for sure. He did inform us the furniture is hand made and could be 3-4 weeks or more. The mattress he said maybe a week or two and we could pick that up ourselves. Mind you, we spent $8k on all of this! My wife called after two weeks and politely asked if there was any update only to speak to a guy named JEFF who was rude, insulting, and made no attempt to offer actual customer service. Bought a couch through Bry's a few years back, it was $3,500 couch but was told it was a 25 year couch, would of been worth it if it was true. In about 6 months the leather started to tear on the arm rests and one of the seats. We had the warranty that BRY'S swore by they covered almost everything and was hassle free, so we contacted the warranty company, took a few phone calls but they finally sent someone out, guy left his shoes on and drug mud through our house which was unprofessional to start, he snapped some photos and said i don't think this will be covered but I will ask and get back to you tomorrow. Never heard back, called them countless times, took months but finally got someone on the line to answer us. It was "no" of course which is what we figured, stating they didn't cover that...so we contact Bry's about all of this, they asked for photos, we sent them. Had to call as well multiple times after the initial inquiry because they didn't call us back either. Their reply was talk to the warranty company, so do yourself a favor, go to Ashlee furniture, you can expect the same crappy treatment but at least it's 1/3 of the cost. read more

Went to Bry's Audio for troubleshooting on my car stereo and door locks. I had complaints a few years ago about the Furniture side of the business, but figured it was only fair to give the Car Audio side a fair try. The issue had been looked at by another local shop and they couldn't decipher the problem. While it did ultimately take three hours, Rudy was successful in tracking down the issue and when it was all done, I was only charged for two hours of labor. So I bought a Traeger from Costco about a year ago and I was having an issue. After talking to Traeger cutomer service about my issue they were going to have a local service person come out and address it. I am not sure if they normally field service but I did talk to Brian there at Bry's and we set up a time. I wanted to repair it myself if possible and I was able to do that after a few issues. Brian took the time to address each question I had and help walk me through each issue. He was familiar with the product as well and have a great deal of knowledge in general. The problem ended up being something different then the original issue but he talked me through other possible issues as well. After the few maybe this and maybe that he said I needed a new rod and they had one in stock so I picked it up and a little bit later my Traeger was working again. I didnt buy the grill there and the only sale to me was a warranty claim for him. He went above and beyond to help me in this respect. Most retailer dont offer this service and you are lucky if they even know what brand they are selling let alone how it works. Shady business, buyer beware. They are notorious bait and switch con artists. Also look for their other Yelp account. One would think that a business that has operated in Snhomish county as long as they have, it wouldn't try to screw over whoever walks through their doors. We bought a recliner, it took two weeks longer to get delivered than quoted. When it was set up we found exposed staples from when it was constructed, when we called down to the store the lady said we would have to bring it back ourselves to get it repaired, before we could say we can't move it ourselves she hung up on us. Every time since then when we call they either yell at me not to call back or laugh and hang up. So now we are stuck with this chair that if we sit on it the staple will cut down the middle of our calf. It wouldn't be so bad if we both were not on blood thinners. We are a retired couple struggling on a fixed income and only want what we purchased. Do your research, we would of never gave them money if we knew how shady this outfit is. read more

If you are the type of person who shops for the experience of shopping then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a fair price on furniture that will last more than a week then look somewhere else. This store offers poorly made furniture at inflated prices. Once they have your money their customer service is non existent. My wife bought some furniture from Bry's while I was on a deployment in Iraq. The sales person talked my wife in to financing even though we had enough money to buy the furniture with cash. My wife was told that payment stubs would be sent in the mail. What they didn't tell her was that the stubs weren't going to be sent by the store. Instead they sold the debt off to a financing company. After a month my wife didn't called Bry's because she didn't get a payment book in the mail from them and wanted to know if there were any other way to pay, like coming in to the store to pay in person. That was the FIRST time she was told that Bry's was not handling financing. It turns out that she was signed up for a Brand Source credit card! WTF?!? It would have been nice to know this UP FRONT! Now we have late fees we have to pay. She was told by the sales person that if she paid off the furniture in a year there would no interest charged (a.k.a. same as cash). Once we set up an online account with Brand Source we were able to see the details of the account. One of those details was that we were being charged interest! After talking to both Bry's and Brand Source it seems that even though Bry's has a "same as cash" promotion once the account is transferred any promotion we had with Bry's is null and void with Brand Source. So we did get the "same as cash" promotion with Bry's even if it was only for a couple of minutes. Again WTF?!? Then maybe a week after getting the furniture we learned how low quality the furniture is. We discovered a board sticking out of the bottom of one of the couches. We called Bry's and were told that since this happened so shortly after we bought it that it was most likely our fault for being too hard on the furniture and that a repair wouldn't be covered under warranty. We flipped the couch over to see if we could do anything to fix it. We also found a spring was now sticking out and it had scratched our floor badly. Again another call to Bry's but the only thing that happen was the person on the phone accusing us of doing something other than sitting on the couch and being told that anything besides sitting on it wasn't covered under the warranty. They really shouldn't be charging the prices they are for such shoddy built furniture. If you want quality built furniture don't shop here. I know we won't ever shop here again. read more

To my utter amazement Diana, at Bry's, found us the next step up Frigidaire washer for less than the one I was planning to get. We ended up getting the dryer too as the deal was too good to pass up! Delivery was easy and exactly what I was told to prepare for. I hooked up a couple hoses and basically plugged them in and started doing laundry! Dania a part owner of the store, gave us a great deal on a SOLID WOOD bed headboard, footboard and frame for far less money than I had seen at 2 other stores for pressed sawdust pieces. She got the LOCAL factory to make a custom piece for us in a finish that matches the other pieces in my room. She also gave us her pricing for a last minute .upgrade to my new lift chair at a total price I couldn't refuse. And she offered to order matching material for longer chair arm covers that I wanted. Purchased a dining room table and chairs from Bry's a few months ago. ..table was delivered damaged, I was assured they would order me a new one. Not hearing from them for about a month I called them and was told it had never been ordered. Two weeks ago they called to say they should have it in a week or so. Today I went into the store and still no table top, hopefully by the end of the month I was told... Chad the manager will do nothing to make this right. ..so basically I paid alot of money for a very poorly made table and chairs, one of the chairs is so wobbly I won't let my 10 year old daughter sit in it, Bry's clearly doesn't stand behind their product and their customer service is very poor. read more

I think there main focus is selling furniture. They have a small department for car stereos as this was what I was in the market for. No one was there to help so I went to the front desk and the owner told me she would have a specialist be there in a couple minutes. 3minutes later, I decided to walk around and ran into a sales lady who asked if I needed help. I told her yes, in the car stereo dept. I showed her what equipment I was looking at and she was going to get me a price. She never came back after waiting 4 minutes. Amazinly enough, I walked to the main area to see she was helping out a customer who wanted furniture. I walked out. I think they pre-qualified the wrong person so I spent my money down the road at Audio Lab. If I ever go back to Bry's it'll be when there is no other hope in furniture or car stereo locations. Not at all happy with service from Brys. I currently have a 15,000 BTU air conditioner and decided to upgrade to similar and walked into Brys. Sales woman very friendly and "helpful" - but, we couldn't locate one that matched same dimensions. I have specific dimensions and do not want to renovate my house for replacement at an additional cost - no problem, she said. I'll special order you a replacement with exact same dimensions. I kept calling back, and they kept checking status all year but no fulfillment. Spoke with them again last week to check status and they try to sell me a 10,000 BTU again that they have in stock. I told sales agent No, again - I'm looking for 15,000 BTU. She promised to call me back but never did and so I called back again today. Now ... again, they promise can place an order for me in September. This is what they did last year when I gave them half deposit down for new shipment. Complete waste of time and empty promises -but, they have no problem taking my deposit. No interest, by the way. read more

Six weeks ago we bought 3 new appliances from Bry's in Marysville, WA. We've done business with Bry's over the last few year and haven't had any major issues, the only thing being they told my wife a washer we bought would use liquid fabric softener and when delivered it would not. We recently bought a new refrigerator, dishwasher, and range. They asked if my wife wanted the floor model on the range, she stated she did not want a floor model, she wanted it new in the box.The 3 items totaled about 7K, we did pretty much buy the best of each. On delivery day we noticed damages to the fridge. One side has scratches, the other side had dents, and one of the doors on the front was dented. We were dismayed to learn they had sent a floor model because they did not have any new in a box. They offered us $100 off per the manufacture's discount for damages. We were not happy with this and felt it was a slap in the face. Bry's was not going to take any ownership for any damages, nor were they willing to discount a floor model with damage to it. She said she wanted a new unit. They ordered a new fridge and we waited for delivery. In the meantime we discovered the new dishwasher had a loose door and would not latch closed properly. They arranged to deliver and install a new one. In the meantime a new fridge arrived at the store and was turned away for damages. They said they ordered three more. We were getting worn thin by this and asked they pick up their fridge, we would buy elsewhere. The new dishwasher was delivered, but a day after installation we noticed it was not installed properly. The technician was sent back out and corrected the installation. During all of this we also had the new range delivered. We didn't use the over for a week, but as soon as we did it faulted out and gave an error message. A tech was sent out and identified the problem and ordered new parts which were out by 10 days. So we would not have to wait Bry's instructed one of their techs to remove the board from the floor model and put it on our until the new boards arrived so we would have a working unit. He brought the new panel and put it on and it did not work. It was then we asked them to take their range away, we would buy something elsewhere. They refused and said we would have to wait for the factory tech to do his thing. So we waited until last Friday. The tech arrived and put the 3 boards on that he identified as the problem. The range still refused to work. So he thought maybe it was something else instead. He now has another item ordered to try. In the meantime, we have had a brand new range we paid over $2300 for that has never worked for a period of over 6 weeks and no one will remove it so we can go buy another. My wife was in tears as she called Frigidaire to get help and no one would help her. She decided to drive to Bry's to talk to Chad the owner. I had been up north and was driving down and decided to meet her at bry's. Five minutes before arriving I talked to her on the phone and she said Chad had walked outside and totally ignored her. When I arrived I found Chad outside and told him he needed to come inside to talk to us. He refused. I said, "Of course not. You don't want me inside complaining in front of any potential customers you have. We came in here 6 weeks ago and spent over $2300 on a range that has never worked properly since day one and you won't take care of us. We have been your customers for years and you would throw it all away on a range that has never worked. You should take it out of my house and give us what we paid for. You should put this range in your own shop and let the manufacturer fix it. We need a working range and you don't care." During my rant he was busy trying to shut me up. his words...shut up. I refused to not be heard. He pulled his phone out and threatened to call the police if I would not shut up. I goaded him into it until he finally did call. I told him that I thought it would go great in a small claims lawsuit I planned to file. So the police did come, of course I was not arrested. Yet the range still does not work and Bry's still doesn't care. read more

We took our 2003 Eurovan to Bry's for a new stereo. I will say, at first, due to a misunderstanding, that we were not happy. The distortion from the bass was pretty bad at fairly low volume, so we took it back. Not only did they offer to fix it, but they did it at no extra charge (excepting $60 for some parts). Jeremy was super cool, and he went the extra mile to get it right, working past closing time to finish in the same day. (The interior of our van is not the easiest to dismantle.) I am so happy now with the finished product, and more than pleased with the service Bry's, and Jeremy, gave us. They really seem to rise to the challenge of making their customers happy. If I email they respond immediately and they have great furniture along with access to thousands of items not in there store. They have higher end items and less expensive which is great for different budgets needs of each individual buyer...... The service was defiantly great in that its a business with owners that are there and they were never pushy but instead when looking at a sectional suggested I not buy that day but go Measure it and make sure it would work ! My Wife wanted a new dining table for christmas, I shopped around and couldn't find anything that I liked at a reasonable price. We stopped in at Brys and Diana showed us a Monte Carlo collections Legend furniture table set. My Wife instantly liked it. The price was marked down a bit and it was within the prize range we wanted. What I appreciated the most was Diana's customer service. She was upfront and honest about some minor damage the table had sustained at the store and this was the reason for the discount price. My wife really liked the table and it was perfect for our needs but it was damaged. Diana explained that she could have the table repaired to a like new condition for a very reasonable price. We were skeptical since it would involve recreating a small missing corner piece. But Diana said "I know a guy and it will be like new and as if it never happened, I promise". A few days later the table was delivered by Brys delivery folks who were professional and very quiet as they assembled the table in my kitchen. I worked graveyards and was asleep upstairs while my Wife and Son waited for the delivery and assembly. I didn't hear a thing and was surprised to find the table in the kitchen without having heard a sound. I am glad they are furniture delivery men and not thieves! The repair was flawless, we tried to find were the repair was made but couldn't. The table looks great in the kitchen and now we don't have to coerce or ask our teenager to eat at the table.
