This location recently opened in Granite Falls. They have a great selection of tools and I found a hat I was looking for. The staff was very friendly and was able to direct me to the tools I needed. They had great prices and look forward to return for my next project. Happy to have a hardwood store close to home. read more

Kaeden and the entire team at McDaniel's in Granite Fall always go out of his way their way to help with any project I have. When entering the store you're immediately greeted with a friendly welcome. The cashiers always remember my name and when they close out the transaction they thank you for shopping with them, something most places stopped doing a long time ago. The rewards program is a great incentive to shop local but I really keep coming back for the people that treat like family as opposed to a customer. read more

Walked right in, very clean and orderly store. Had exactly what I needed and at a comparable price. Took some time to look around the store and was pleasantly surprised that they seemed to have the things we always went to the other hardware stores for but what made the difference for me is that it was close to home, no 20 minute drive for me. From now on McDaniels Do It Center is where i will be when i need a good, well stocked, hardware store. read more

Not great! the saw shop is absolutely not Glens saw shop anymore, may he rest in peace, I was given conflicting information, and no updates whatsoever. Should have went somewhere else. read more

I initiate spending 90% of our hardware store money at McDaniels, (not my husband) over more than 30 years. Last weekend I felt like less than a sticky piece of gum on the bottom of your shoe. I could have gone to Home depot, Lowe's but spend more to support the hometown team. And you've always been great. But, It seems the hotshot garden lead Kaden? found it way more important to ignore my query and turn all attention to my husbands random question and keep ignoring our requests to get the answer we really needed seemingly because the little woman asked it. After both of us tried to redirect him to the main issue, he was much more interested in trying to impress my husband by going on about something we really didn't need at the time. And got annoyed when I kept trying to get an answer to the pressing issue I originally asked him about. Unfortunately, this seemed to extend to the Snohomish store when I checked there for plant stock a day later. The gray haired garden lady mentioned she knew I talked yo the GF store and was really short, bordering on disdainful when I asked about plant stock we had discussed in Granite Falls. She promised to call me back the next day as I wanted the smaller packs GF didn't have, or even tell me about. 3 days later, nothing. We are not talking about $20 bucks. Every year I make $1000 +' dollars of purchases thru just the spring due to the normally excellent care, respect, concern, and customer service. Bob, if you are still in charge, you have a bit of training to do...women matter as much as men. They are your purchasing decision makers. It has been decades since I have felt dismissed at a store. The last time was at a car dealership at 29 yrs old, never bought a Honda due to this. 30 yrs!!! I can take my shopping elsewhere but thought with a new store, perhaps this young man might benefit from your sage advice. As for your garden lady in Snoho, consider your source if its the young kid that made you be impatient and annoyed and recognize the people seeking your help wont come back if we feel you don't want us to. I will check back this weekend to support, and hopefully she was just having a bad day. But if this is a norm, I work too hard to spend my money with a company who clearly doesn't care about long term loyal customers who try to support you. read more

It's like the whole vibe and energy of the store & employees has dropped significantly. Not trying to be rude, but the people working there don't appear to be as ecstatic and jazzed to be there. They're just not has vibrant and cheerful as they used to be. Don't get me wrong, everyone is still very professional, kind, polite, and helpful in their particular sections. They just don't feel as happy and I wish the previous owner hadn't left.

You failed miserably. Things can happen, but making promises and verifying that promise for a replacement when you delivered the wrong order, to begin with and when you fail to follow up as promised,, is on you, not the customer. When calling to verify the delivery 2 days past the promised date, it takes 15 minutes to tell the customer you need a couple of minutes to find the order and promise a callback, and an hour later, while landscapers are waiting, a second call is placed. I waited 2 hours for that follow-up call when I called you. All the excuses do not equal taking action. The important piece of this was that this was a very special Christmas presentation that used these lights. My wife started this. Since my wife's passing, this will be the first time they have not been up. This is also the first time all my children and grandchildren will be together. Your lack of basic customer service just ruined a long-running family tradition. I was not asking for a miracle; I was asking for just plain customer service. You and 3 of your employees failed.

As I walked down the aisles I found 8 in a circle just complaining about work in a manner you really don't want customers to hear. I spent 15 minutes grabbing what I needed and went to ask an employee a question and he's wearing not one but two earbuds and replies "WHAT?!" Do I really need to explain what's wrong with this? I've also never seen so many employees in a workplace on their phones, I feel like I could have even stole anything and not gotten caught. And one last thing, this is by far the dirtiest hardware stores I've ever seen, not even close!

Needed some guinea pig bedding and all the local stores were out…read more I always forget there's a Co-op out in Granite, but it was perfect since I was on my way to work. The place is pretty big and I was EXTREMELY short on time, so I didn't want to be running all over the store looking for bedding (especially since I'm sporting one leg still). I sent my daughter in (my poor little minion).... several employees were up front because there was a huge delivery being dropped off, so she had several people offer help. A young man asked which kind of bedding, giving several choices. He was very quick and carried the HUGE bag over to my car and loaded it. He thanked is for coming, wished us a great day and we were on our way. We were in and out in 5 minutes. THAT'S INCREDIBLE!! I don't really have a lot of needs at the Co-op since we don't have our chickens anymore....but I'll be sure to stop in and grab our guinea pig needs! They were great!

Purchased on line this time FOR PICK UP. I get there and they bring me out the same damn door as the first one. Oh no, we measured and showed them it was not 80 inches. Got no help, but a cancelation of the door. Went immediately to home depot, got knowledgeable worker and much care and got the door measured in front of me to make sure. I was so pleased. My new store. As I will never shop at Lowe's again. Ps. When we asked lowes to measure the 2nd door, no one had a tape measure. Really????what a joke.

I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Subsequently, I lost some interest since I don't live nearby. While I was in Ballard on a recent Sunday, I rushed to the market to see if it was still open. Officially, it was not; they closed at 2pm. But they were still packing up. I believe they are not allowed to sell after the official closing time; I asked one vendor, they declined. The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.

They also carry some farm-adjacent clothing, specialty grocery items, lawn art, and garden decor. Every time I'm in here, I wish I lived on a farm! Speaking of their clothing section, don't miss their sale rack, which is always full of good deals in mostly men's (but some women's) clothing, including stalwart brands like Carhartt. I did and I was told they could find my paperwork, Lisa wasn't there. The following May I took a copy of the paperwork in and gave it to them, Lisa was not there. On August 2022 went back in and was told they couldn't find my folder and to check back when Lisa was there. From 2022 to April 2024 I stopped in more than 12 times, Lisa was not there, and was told I would need to speak with her. As of May 10th, 2024 the business has closed up. I'm in the process of filing legal action in small claims court.

Anywho... we initially purchased bare necessities for our newest furry family member and as we were checking out, the awesome staff went above and beyond. Not only did she steer us to a few more must haves at affordable prices, she share tips and tricks from her perosnal experience as a bunny owner, she shared websites for additional supplies, and even confirmed the gender of our baby bunny! She pulled in another staff member to confirm too! Side note, aside from supplies for animals of all sorts - they had baby chicks in! Loved to see they were collecting warm clothes donations and giving back to the community in this way as well. Great store, great people working there, just all around great!

Also will sharpen any blade you buy from him anytime for no charge. Offers a large selection from all the quality manufacturers and will order anything that he does not have in stock for you. Don't waste your time or money at a big box sporting goods store when you can get great service and prices here!

Northside and Triple T Trading has an incredible President and two Vice-Presidents, to have such a remarkable employee on their staff.
