Awful awful customer service UPSTAIRS !! If I were the owner I would be ashamed of how my staff was treating a customer! I have regularly spent $400+/a visit, and tonight was treated like I was a huge pain in the ass! This is my first ever yelp review. I just couldn't let this slip by without note. It is despicable how the upstairs staff was behaving. Please note, I am not referring to the staff downstairs. They were helpful and courteous. I would describe my experience tonight as downright hostile! I left feeling like I was just punched in the gut. I hope the gals in the upstairs clothing area take a minute and think about how they would like to be treated when they are the customer. Shameful. Embarrassing. I certainly can find similar goods elsewhere and I will. I'll give my $2-3,000/year to a place that values their patrons! Big mistake. Huge! - end of rant.

You failed miserably. Things can happen, but making promises and verifying that promise for a replacement when you delivered the wrong order, to begin with and when you fail to follow up as promised,, is on you, not the customer. When calling to verify the delivery 2 days past the promised date, it takes 15 minutes to tell the customer you need a couple of minutes to find the order and promise a callback, and an hour later, while landscapers are waiting, a second call is placed. I waited 2 hours for that follow-up call when I called you. All the excuses do not equal taking action. The important piece of this was that this was a very special Christmas presentation that used these lights. My wife started this. Since my wife's passing, this will be the first time they have not been up. This is also the first time all my children and grandchildren will be together. Your lack of basic customer service just ruined a long-running family tradition. I was not asking for a miracle; I was asking for just plain customer service. You and 3 of your employees failed.

As I walked down the aisles I found 8 in a circle just complaining about work in a manner you really don't want customers to hear. I spent 15 minutes grabbing what I needed and went to ask an employee a question and he's wearing not one but two earbuds and replies "WHAT?!" Do I really need to explain what's wrong with this? I've also never seen so many employees in a workplace on their phones, I feel like I could have even stole anything and not gotten caught. And one last thing, this is by far the dirtiest hardware stores I've ever seen, not even close!

Needed some guinea pig bedding and all the local stores were out…read more I always forget there's a Co-op out in Granite, but it was perfect since I was on my way to work. The place is pretty big and I was EXTREMELY short on time, so I didn't want to be running all over the store looking for bedding (especially since I'm sporting one leg still). I sent my daughter in (my poor little minion).... several employees were up front because there was a huge delivery being dropped off, so she had several people offer help. A young man asked which kind of bedding, giving several choices. He was very quick and carried the HUGE bag over to my car and loaded it. He thanked is for coming, wished us a great day and we were on our way. We were in and out in 5 minutes. THAT'S INCREDIBLE!! I don't really have a lot of needs at the Co-op since we don't have our chickens anymore....but I'll be sure to stop in and grab our guinea pig needs! They were great!

The owners are friendly and gracious, and the store has been in their family for generations. It's well worth the stop just for the charm and the incredible selection. Local trail maps? They have them. Oilcloth? They have it by the yard. Toys? Yes. Decorative pottery and graniteware? You bet. Screws, nuts, and bolts? Yes, and the owners will even help you fabricate whatever you need to fix your what-have-you. I love, love, love this store, and you will, too!

Not to mention gardening, toys, and even a decent-sized kitchen section. This is the kind of store you can spend hours in, just wandering around looking at the cool stuff. The staff here are super friendly, too. On a recent visit we were looking for some RV tank treatment, and they knew right where to send us. Their prices are a little higher than you might find at a large chain store, but not outrageously so. It's nice to know there's a great store like this supporting the sweet little town of Darrington.
