The wrecker showed up within the expected wait and towed me to George's Garage, which was very close to where I was trying to get to. Because AAA doesn't service the turnpike, I was worried about the $150 towing fee but George's Garage staff submitted it to AAA on my behalf. Since they do repair work on Sundays, I had to wait until Monday for them to replace my alternator. On Monday, I called and explained I was from out of town and they got to work that morning and replaced my part by 1:30 pm Monday and I was on my way back home. Kudos to them for rushing the work!

Later, my friend picked me up and took me to their repair shop. When it came time to pay, they charged me $847 for a 13-mile tow. When I questioned their charges, they acted like animals, including the tow truck driver and his boss. I reported it to the police, but in the end, I still had to pay the $847.
