Pleasant and easy appt was made, got a call 30 min before their arrival just to let me know they were on their way at the designated time (does anyone do this anymore?) Very professional young man (Ankur) clean, polished, well spoken arrived, spent a good amount of time troubleshooting, checking and explaining every thing he did. The bill was beyond surprising in a GOOD way. I kept thinking "what else do I need repaired while he is here!" We used Ankur to repair our refrigerator. The experience more than met the hype created by all these 5-star reviews. - Promptness: Called him at 1030. He gave me a window of noon to 3. He arrived at 12:30, and called me 20 minutes before arrival. - Competency: Within the first five minutes, he had diagnosed the problem and explained the necessary repairs. The motherboard was fried. He explained, without judgment or a condescending tone, that I can avoid the problem from reoccurring with some simple preventive maintenance going forward. - Cost: About $300 parts and labor. Can't really shop these prices around when you have a freezer full of defrosting food, but it seemed like a fair price. Ankur also gave me some helpful tips about cleaning my dishwasher and dryer vents. Really nice guy. Would definitely use him again. read more

Dishwasher needs a new motor. He told me what the cost would be (we are getting a new dishwasher.....) and gave me a written estimate. Update: I get it, that no one likes criticism. Reviews on Yelp are reviews to help providers see their service based upon the customers prospective and other customers to ask the correct questions based upon others experience. The service provider can choose to continue to conduct business in the current method or adjust their business model.. unfortunately the company's response actually confirms they do not want change their business practices but defend it. Which is fine. The company performed service at the same rental property approx 2-3 yrs ago. No service fee was mentioned at that that time. That means they were willing to go beyond x distance before but not now and upfront knowledge to customers wasn't necessary. I would have chosen someone else. Also the frig repair was near Fair oaks mall not Aldi (bad record keeping). They did not communicate that they would return within 10 days if it was an appliance issue. All that was conveyed at the time was it is a plumbing problem pay me because I came to look at it. Why would the service provider be called back if given the impression that it's not their problem and the possibility of another 89 charge if they determined it was not their issue again. I was able resolve the issue with another provider via the phone. No charge!! ----------------- I have used this company based upon my first experience. I think like so many companies become successful and become greedy. I called them to repair my frig. They needed a part which was very expensive. I needed fridge fixed I agreed. Before the work was performed I check websites for the price and discovered this company has a big markup. My husband said if they do good work. Let's get it done. Several months later my rental property had a problem the frig. No water was being dispensed. Note this company had in the past repaired a dishwasher at my rental. I was not charged a higher service fee. The office said they charge 69.95. Service fee. Again the voice said if they do a good job it was ok to pay more then some of the other companies I set an appointment. The tenants was there. The technician arrived and said there was no water going into the fridge. Since I was the second owner I wasn't sure where it could have been shut off from. The technician said it's a plumbing problem and requested service fee to look at the issue. This where everything went wrong. He said 89.95 was the service fee where the office indicated it would be 69.95 at the time of schedule. He said he will have to talk to his office because they said wrong amount. He charges more more Mclean ... Because he had to sit traffic. Tell me where in northern va does somebody not sit in traffic. He agreed to charge me 69.95. Now I called the plumber. I was present this time. Guess what there was water in the pipe. I fiddled with the filter and water did come through but only a drizzle. The plumber said the problem was the frig. I was really upset because now I have to call an appliance repair person again. I would have liked to give this company a zero star NEVER using this company again. My landlord reached out to this place twice when our washer broke down twice. Ankur phoned us prior to schedule a time to come out. From my experience, it's really hard to find someone who is honest and trustworthy when dealing with home repairs. However, Ankur of All Appliance Solutions is a rare exception. Ankur was always on time, very courteous, straight forward, honest, and was able to fix my refrigerator without over charging me as some of the other companies tried to do when I asked for quotes. He is very professional, and I can't praise him enough for his service. 7/17/15 I discovered that Mom's fridge had died at 5:15pm on a Friday. I called All Appliance and they had a repairman at mom's house within 30 minutes! What a great company! My husband called this company to install our new dishwasher. The two technicians came on time, they even called ahead to let me know they were coming. They explained each step of the install and were very patient in answering my questions. Their demeanor and attitude were also very professional. Ankur fixed my refrigerator last week. He arrived during the 9-12 window as promised and called when he was 30 minutes away. He brought all of the correct parts to fix the fridge (no ordering parts or running back to the office- he was prepared!), he gave us some great information about appliance brands and some of the most common issues, and he was done within about an hour and fifteen minutes. I called Saturday evening to have someone come and retrieve my iPhone from the depths of my washing machine (embarrassing, I know. But hey, things happen!). By Sunday mid-day, I was reunited with my phone! Ankur, the technician who helped us, could not have been more professional and helpful. He was able to fix the problem in only a few minutes, with no problem at all. The whole thing only cost $29.95 (the fee that is applied to all services), since there were no additional parts or needed repairs for the machine itself. Called for repair on our oven. Repairman showed up late for the appointment after we had to call the office. He told us he could fix the oven and we never heard from him again. We called the office to follow up and they said the repairman told them our issue was not repairable. Horrible service. All Appliance Solutions has a coupon on their site that gives you $55 off any complete repair. When I called to make the appointment, they said the service call would be $149. I told them that the pulley on our Whirlpool dryer is bad and needs replacing... they replaced the pulley and charged me $179 for the repair. I handed him the coupon, he said that they already took the $55 off the service call and that is why the service call was $149. No one ever said the service call was $204 minus the coupon? He also said that they, the company, needs to make money too. I don't recommend any company that isn't honest. read more

I called a company who said they could come in the afternoon but after getting to work and reading reviews of them on Yelp, I cancelled them quickly and booked with All Appliance because of their positive reviews. Ankur called before he came and I met him. He quickly diagnosed the problem, but unfortunately due to the age of the washer, had to order parts. He came back today and fixed the washer in no time. Was told they do appliance installations and the cost. I proceeded to schedule an appointment and rearrange schedules so someone could be home. Received a call from Ankur 1.5 hours prior to the scheduled appt. who asked what I needed to have done and quoted me more than double what I was initially told. When I questioned the cost I was told the receptionist doesn't really know. I will definitely be putting All Appliance Solutions on my list of go-to vendors for home repair. My freezer was leaking water onto the floor due to a frozen water line in the refrigerator. After seeing all the positive reviews on yelp, I called All Appliance Solutions on a Wednesday morning. I was told I could have a 5pm-8pm slot that evening. Ankur was able to get rid of the ice buildup and flush the line quite quickly. He also made an adjustment to the back of the unit that he said would prevent it from happening again, which I appreciate. Within 45 minutes everything was fixed. Ankur was thorough, professional, and clearly was able to fit me in late the same day I called.
