I spoke with a woman named JJ, I think from the Auburn office. She was the most rude, unprofessional, unhelpful person I have ever spoken with at a service provider. In backing up a steep, narrow road, I regrettably got my driver side rear wheel off on the soft downhill shoulder. I tried to move forward (downhill) but the wheels spun. The spin and gravity then pulled the front driver side wheel off into the soft steep down slope also (the passenger side wheels stayed up on the road's shoulder, so my car was tipped. Spinning wheels would make the car go downhill more. Worse, it had slid down just enough to be blocked by an unseen, low-cut, old tree stump. Fortunately, my auto insurance called All American Towing, and a rep was nearby who came immediately. She saw that the steepness and "tipped angle" of my car created a risk that it could tip over--down the steep slope. She secured that and called for another All America Towing truck that had the capacity to hook up the car and tow it sideways. It was a slow, methodical process that went "inch-by-inch," with the company's owner, Scott, checking every movement, with the other tow truck driver assisting. One company recommended I call All American and I am so glad I did. They said if I could wait until morning, they would cut me a deal. So come 8 AM the next morning, Jon was hooking up something like three extra chains to the truck to drag my car out of the mess I had put it in. He was so nice and conversational through the whole ordeal. He even helped me change the tire that was super flat from hitting the curb. I asked about the rates and was quoted fair rates, which we accurately charged in the final bill. I was kept informed about arrival scheduling and they arrived when they said. If you have the choice don't EVER let this company tow your vehicle. The prices are outrageous and the worst part is they couldn't even locate my car for 6 hours when CHP told them they had my car because I had to get brought to the ER for a seizure. After telling me they were on their way and would be there in 30 minutes, I waiting an additional 2 hours to only pay extra for them to release my car. I spoke with the supervisor who inappropriately continued to compliment me to try to make up for poor communicative service. RIPPED OFF!! BY ALL AMERICAN. They responded to a CHP rotation call and were so late the officer was about to cancel the call. CHP allowed 5 more minutes. They got the car off the highway 45 minutes after the call came in. Their dispatcher tried to charge me 2hrs at $275 per hour! When I refused they held my car hostage at the site and charged me all the while. Overcharging people in need is not American! read more

Well where do I begin. If I could I'd give them a negative, I would. My vehicle was towed months ago. Over the course of these months I have been trying to get in contact with someone so I could get it back. However, every time I did there was always some excuse. "We'll call you back" or "we'll keep in touch and let you know". I even went in to see them in person, just to find an employee that would "relay the message". Fast forward to today, my vehicle has been sold by a lean sale to someone, without so much as a notice of what's going on or a follow through with their promise of "we'll keep in touch." Used their service because it was recommended by my mechanic. I assumed it was the cheapest and most reliable. My mistake was assuming. They ended up being very expensive. It was $125 for only 8 miles. I paid $66 with a different company only three days earlier, for the same exact drive. I asked the tow truck driver why it was so high, he said, "oh don't worry about that."When we called to ask about the price they said it should have been $115, it's $75 just to put the car on the truck then $5 per mile. I was very satisfied with their service. My car was stuck 20 miles away from my home. I had parked it on side of the road a day earlier. When I called them Katie gave me a reasonable estimate for the tow. She even came to my house to pick me up for us to go pick up the car. Katie was professional and hooked up and loaded my car on the flatbed truck fast. And she even charged me less than what she had estimated.
