Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience. My car started having issues on the freeway, so I pulled over and called for a tow. The car was still drivable, but the driver never asked whether it could be driven or put in neutral before loading it. Instead, it was winched onto the flatbed and pulled too far forward. We heard a loud crunch when the front made contact with the equipment at the front of the bed, and after it was unloaded there was visible damage in that same area. Unloading also looked more difficult than it should have been. The driver had to repeatedly raise and lower the bed and work the car back and forth before he could get it off. The loading and unloading both felt rougher than they should have, especially for a car that was still drivable. I called the company afterward and explained what happened. I was told they would look into it and speak with the driver, but I never heard back. Disappointed. read more

Thank you Randy JR for towing my car. I was on the highway 70 & feather River blvd exit when my radiator decided to break. I sat there calling FARMERS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE for 1.5 hours 1230pm-2pm trying to get a tow truck that would get paid by their cheap asses. After calling 5 different times & estimates of 4 more hours (alongside the highway) numerous dropped texts and my phone dying which then killed my battery I was accepted by GOD AKA RANDYS TOW SERVICE. BY 220pm I was picked up. (20 minutes after my 4th call to farmers roadside) yes... 20 minutes my life was saved. Randy JR backed my car into a very tiny mobile home park driveway with precision and a smile. I tipped him $25 for the TLC. (Farmers only paid him $161 actually I paid with my Visa card because they said I didn't have tow insurance.) Which Monday Farmers & I had a chat about that. I clearly have towing. Besides that stupid situation they only gave my towing guy $161. You suck farmers roadside So if anyone ever needs help directly call : Randy's Towing Yuba City and they'll help you especially with farmers crapy service or self pay. Randy came to tow our 2019 ram truck last night and did a great job. We got rear ended and wasn't sure how we were going to get our stuff out of the truck and he said don't worry I'll bring it buy the police dept. and you can get your stuff out. When he got there he said just take your time and get all your things out, not in a hurry. After just getting rear ended we were pretty shaken up and it was nice to know we could recover our things. June 7, 2022 we were stuck on the side of CA I-5 with a broken axel on a UHAUL car transport trailer. It was 92 degrees and a bit uncomfortable. We contacted the UHAUL 800# for assistance and waited and waited. They finally were able to find someone willing to help and that was Randy's Towing out of Yuba City. The guy that came to our rescue could have been Randy but we're not sure. He was a God send, an angel. He shortened our stay on the side of the road a good 6 hours. He found a replacement trailer closer than the one that UHAUL wanted us to travel 3hrs to get then 3hrs back to where we were broken down. My tucks battery died today. I have the local 3 A's (the one on garden hwy) for a tow. The dispatch acted like she didnt know where I was located. I give her the 2 cross streets a couple of few times. Then when she finally found my location she place me on hold without telling me anything. I waited for about 30mins and hung up. I call Randy's tow and what a big difference. I told them my problem and location. They asked for my vehicle information and gave me an approximate time of arrival. This dude is fantastic! I left all I really had to say on his Google review. The just of it. I called Sanchez Towing, they were a no show. Set the appointment, agreed on a time and price then acted like we never called. Then magically after another call remembered us but still wasn't towing our new broken truck. Inconsiderate and untrustworthy to say the least. I called Ramirez Towing, the guy that answers tried to up the towing rate by double, double what he quoted three hours prior. From $200 to $400. He tried to prey on what he thought was a desperate person, we didn't bite. He had the nerve to call my wife 20 minutes after she told him to kick rocks and says he will do it for $300. Picture a used car salesman from any B-Movie, that's this guy, except you might have to meet him on a dark road, late at night and all alone. Seriously stay away from these guys, everything about the scuz says it's all bad waiting to happen. Now comes Randy, after literally trying every tow company from Chico to Yuba City. We got everything from "we don't do that, to other outright outlandish prices. Randy is a straight shooter from the get. He says he won't be available for a couple hours, but his price is very fair. Unbeknownst to him, he was just about the last option, smelling blood in the water he still stuck to what he is, a good dude. He showed up when he said he would, he stood by his quote, he got my large truck to its new home, and he was a delightful guy to chat with. Hands down the best around......had to throw in some cheese after this stupid day. Who knew getting a Crew Cab long bed 50 miles would take eight hours and 50 phone calls. All we had to make is one to begin with, Randy. If we would have just called him at 3pm, we would have been home by 5-6-7. Bottom line, don't waste your time with anyone else. Call this dude first, then wait for him if you have to because he will actually show up. Weird how you can get a tow company to accept cash for a tow. I digress. read more

I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! Last night my two year old was playing with my keys as I'm picking him up from my moms. I placed him in the seat and shut the door to realize my son had locked me out and consequently himself inside. Thankfully it was a cool evening or I would've broken a window. This guy kicks ass! My transmission took a dump and I was stuck. I'm new to town, so I started calling random tow services, prepared to be totally screwed. 3 tow services didn't even answer the phone...then I called Randy's. I got a tow, a recommendation for a place to have my car worked on, and some great information about Yuba City. The service was excellent and the conversation was just as good. On Christmas Eve 2015, my other half was in a car accident en route to work in the morning. The party at fault was an unlicensed driver, but that's another story to tell. I'm writing about my experience with Randy's Towing where my other half's car was towed and stored. Randy, the owner of the business, was the most pleasant and courteous person I've met in a long time. It was difficult enough dealing with all the negative aspects of the accident, but Randy provided a fantastic experience in spite of the circumstances. On the day of the accident, there were Christmas presents in the car that was totaled by the unlicensed driver; however, Randy was accommodating when I called requesting to retrieve the gifts because most of the gifts was for one of our family member who was probably spending her last Christmas holiday with our family (Sadly, she passed away on New Year's Eve a week after my other half's accident and the day after we brought her presents to her). Randy and I met at his place of business, and I was able to retrieve the gifts in addition to other items in the car. There was a gift stuck in the trunk of the car because we were not able to pry it open due to the condition of the car. Randy said to come back on Christmas Day because he will have it open for me. I opted not to go on Christmas Day because, after all, it's generally our day to spend with our family (spent my Christmas Day at the hospital). It was nice of Randy to offer. I did finally visit his place of business after the Christmas holiday and met his wife who was able to release the gift that was stuck in the trunk of the car. Amazing business and family! read more

We had one of those stuck in the middle of know where situations happen to my family. We got stranded in the Forest near Bullards Bar Reservoir. It took them a while but they found us. But instead of giving up Randy Jr found us. I had my six kids with Me and he waited for us to get some one to pick them up. He was very patient and great to deal will with.
