Out of all the poke spots I've been to, this one is by far one of the best! The fish is always fresh, the portions are generous, and they're not stingy with the toppings. If there's a little extra left on the scoop, they don't dump it back in--they'll gladly give it to you! Even paying a little extra for avocado is worth it because it's always fresh. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and awesome. I got my usual bowl, and one of the employees suggested I try eel sauce with the spicy mayo. I got it on the side, and it did not disappoint--it was a game changer! Great food, generous portions, and excellent customer service every time. Definitely one of my go-to poke spots. Thanks, guys! Walked in yesterday at 3:30 pm and got a somewhat hello, can I help you? From a young lady named Patty. She could have been more pleasant and friendly along with the other guy by the name of Alex. Both of them had poker faces. After kind of mumbling under her nose, she finally introduced me to the sizes of their bowls and I went with their large size bowl that looked more like medium size. Price was right for the amount of food that I got. $23.68 including tax. During my visit neither one of them checked on me, not even once. Passed by me at least twice and nothing. Patty was too busy being on her phone. Restaurant was empty with only 6 people inside including myself, and 2 to-go orders. Parking situation was inconvenient. Couldn't park in their small lot, so I parked on the street. Food: for my base, I got white rice, along with Spicy Tuna, Crab meat, Shrimp, & Albarcore. For my sides/veggies, I got Edamame, Tofu, Cilantro, Corn,, Avocado--a small scoop for extra charge($1.59), green onions, Cucumber, Ginger, and wanted a sweet flavor on top, so I asked her to add some Mandarin. Food was above and beyond fresh, flavorful and delicious!! They also had sweets. Some Guava cookies with different types of nuts in them. No Thank you. Don't care much about Guava. Also, had small sizes of Ice Cream for ($3.50). 2 refrigerated drinks. Both full. Ambiance was great in every way. Fine music playing by Sade and other great artists that I grew up listening to. Restaurant was super clean with beautiful decor, unique stools made of metal, and the restroom was somewhat clean. The left side of the sink, there were lots of paper towels, because of the floor being wet, and the toilet wasn't flushed. Also, had cute decor inside the bathroom. That's all I have to say about yesterday's experience that I had at this Poke place. They also have 5 different locations nationwide. Burbank,Eagle Rock, La Canada, Flintridge, Rancho Palos Verdes and of course the one in Studio City. Will definitely return again soon. To start, I love this place and it's always my go-to spot for poke. Came here recently and enjoyed the food but I do have one note for management. When dining in, the smell from the air freshener on top of the drink cooler was totally overwhelming. I was eating my bowl and as the air freshener sprayed, I feel like all I could do was smell the scent of it and couldn't actually taste my food. It smelled a lot of chemicals. It would a lot more pleasant to dine in if the smell of the air freshener wasn't so overwhelming. Will probably get it to go next time or eat outside! My family and I had a great experience at 'All About Poke', largely because of the two guys working behind the counter. Faraz was fantastic, and so was the other gentleman, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. I can only identify him as "the guy in the Rick and Morty T-shirt," which honestly sounds like a perfectly legitimate job title. Both of them were incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming to my family. They didn't just do their jobs well--they made the whole visit genuinely enjoyable. All about poke is near me and I somewhat frequent here. The large bowl is usually in fact LARGE. It's sharable however they suggest eating the bowl within the hour so you cannot keep it for a later time unless you want to risk being sick. I wouldn't drive out of my way for it nor would I call this place "amazing" in anyway or form. Its just accessible for the area for poke but some of the staff really brings down the vibe. Depending on who you get, the bowl could be big and vibrant or it would be flat, lackluster and half-assed. I like that they always typically are free and have no wait time. Parking is also a breeze since there are no major neighboring businesses that hog the street parking. It's overall OK. While I liked that they mix the sauce into the fish, this doesn't really give the fish enough time to marinate and absorb the flavors. The outside of each fish piece was coated but the interior was still bland. I will say that the quality of the ingredients were great. Everything was super fresh and flavorful, and there was no fishy smell whatsoever to the fish. An added bonus is that you can get a water cup instead of having to buy a bottled drink, in case you decide to eat there in-store, rather than taking it to-go. Employees were very nice but raced me through the order and at the end of the day they forgot the ginger my fave! I was already being checked out by one employee before the other one was finished with the toppings so I didn't notice it was left out. So I did miss that! Most of their sauces were sweet. My 1 star is for the young lady who helped me out today, with the "Louis Vuitton" mask and braided hair who was making my bowl as if she was racing to get it done so she can leave or something.
