    Wanton Taco.

This is the new thing now. Asking permission from some businesses before taking photos. At this place, they even had to read one of my Yelp reviews to believe that I actually write reviews and that I am not lying about it. This is not the first time, not only at this place, and it's definitely not going to be the last. I will be carrying one of my Yelp swags with me at all times from now on. To be prepared. Moving forward with my review about this lovely, clean PokiTomik that I visited on Friday-- 24th of this month at 5:45pm. Got a warm greeting from Arthur and their manager Andre. There were a lot of people in line, a lot of to go orders and 3rd party orders. What kind of surprised me, is that normally most Poke places have round bowls. This place had a plastic rectangular shaped container. Andre, recommended few options/toppings and I went with: Edamame, Cilantro, Corn, Shoyu Tuna, Avocado, Spicy Tuna, regular and Spicy Crab meat, ginger, and Mango Chunks for a sweet taste. On a white rice for my base. ($17.62). Also, ordered Wonton Taco (4.99), with regular Crab meat, Ahi Tuna, green and red onions, cilantro, and small bed of greens to hold the Taco together. Tax included. I also got Spicy Mayo and Garlic Ponzu for my sauces. Food was very delicious and fresh. Also bountiful. Had left overs for the following day!:-) Restaurant was spotless clean, parking shared with other businesses, gender neutral restroom--also clean. Inside and outside seating. Est. in 2017 and they have 13 other locations. Beautiful Mural of late Kobe Bryant with his daughter Gigi and also another mural of late Tupac. Thank you Andre, Arthur, management and Poke Tomik for the nice service, food and hospitality. Will highly recommend and will be back when I am in the area!!! 10/10!!

Stopped in for lunch the other day. The parking lot is small so I would go early to get a parking spot. The restaurant itself is small but i love the artwork on the walls. We ordered a sushi burrito. It was large and I loved the hot cheeto dust on the outside. The poki was large and fresh cubes of fish. The quality was really good. After all the items we wanted inside the burrito, it ended up being quite hefty. The flavors were so good and blended nicely with one another. The poke nachos were the winner here. The portion size is massive. All the fresh ingredients were so delicious. We were very full after this. I also loved that thw wonton chips never got soggy but it might have been because we ate so fast lol. Awesome service and delicious, fresh poki will make this your go-to place in North Hollywood!

I've been to PokiTomik in Glendale many years ago but this was my first time at this location. I got the bowl, burrito and two tacos. Portions were generous. Fish, veggies and ingredients were all fresh. Lots of choices for dips and sauces. Service was quick and friendly. If you'll ever visit, ask for Andre and he'll take care of you just like how he took care of us.

SO SO GOOD! I got three tacos total and already wanna go back. The workers were so kind and Andre made me his taco his way! The younger boy was also so sweet and attentive. I'm from Hawaii so I love my ahi and this place hits the MARK! Flavors are creamy and delicious and fish is fresh. They were quite busy at 6 pm on a Thursday but they served me within five minutes!

I found this poke place on Yelp because it was close to my school, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! It was honestly really good. I ordered everything spicy, and they definitely don't mess around with the heat. If you're someone who loves spicy food like I do, you'll probably love it too. The sauces were flavorful without being overly sweet. The portion size was generous, and there was a great variety of toppings to choose from, so it was easy to customize my bowl exactly how I wanted. Fresh ingredients, good portions, and great flavor.

Wow! Pleasantly surprised how good it was and how long it took me to try the food here! The head chef Andre running it gave great advices! Very well maintained store! Fast service and this was so good! The place was very chill and relaxed so I had it there! Everything was exceptional! Will be going back!

Great food and excellent service. I've tried other locations, but this one tastes better to me and is definitely my favorite poke spot in town. Highly recommend!

They have a Hot Cheeto Sushi Burrito and it's fire!! the extra crunch really took this to the next level. I don't even eat sushi or poké like that, but this place got me hooked. The staff is really cool. It is clean and modern, and they treat you with kindness ! All my poké lovers, this is the spot.

    Delicious!

This place was AMAZING. They have the best poki ever. The sauces and ingredients were really fresh. The service was so nice. And they have a parking lot!

Delicious fresh poke :) I got the poke nachos and the wonton chips with the fish was amazing. Generous amount of fish and toppings! Highly recommend. There's parking in the small plaza and seating inside.

Some love stories start with flowers. Ours started with the last wonton taco shell at Pokitomik. My now-fiancé and I both spotted it at the exact same time. She gave me that look that clearly said, "You're going to let me have it because I'm cute." My response? Absolutely not. There was no surrender. We debated, negotiated, and probably looked ridiculous arguing over one crispy wonton shell. In the end, we did what any reasonable people would do--we shared it. That's when Andre stepped in and made us a custom shoyu tuna taco. One bite in, and we were hooked. It wasn't just fresh--it was the kind of poke that makes you stop talking because you're too busy appreciating every bite. Perfectly seasoned tuna, incredible flavor, and that crispy wonton shell brought it all together. Some people say it was love at first sight. We know better. It was love at first bite. Now we're engaged, and every time we come back, we're reminded that one taco changed everything. Pokitomik didn't just serve us amazing poke--they served us the beginning of our forever. You could say our relationship was meant tuna be... and thankfully, we didn't let that last taco become a poke-lypse!

The duck curry is dense and intense with Japanese yam, a combination I've never seen before (order the curry medium spicey+). the chicken satay appetizer is double the size of what you're used to, & done to perfection. Shrimp pineapple fried rice made the perfect sweet and spicy dish. The pad se ew was done to perfection.... and we topped it all off with an Ube brulee (not exactly brulé'd but silky smooth experience all the same). I finally made it, and well, no surprise, I am a fan. Parking Located on the corner of Magnolia and Whitsett Ave. There is plenty of street parking. But if your feeling a bit bold, there is a closed Rite Aid across the street that has a bunch of parking. Ambiance: For starters, this there is something about the decor, very classy yet casual somewhere you can have a quiet lunch and enjoy the day. I felt at home here and at ease. The staff were great on checking up on me every now and then and made sure I was well taken of. Food: There is a lot to talk about here. The name, for all accounts did not scream Thai Food, yet, I haven't had better Thai food and the area. I stopped in for lunch and they had a such a good Lunch selection and affordable ($20) that also includes a drink. I ordered the BBQ (due to macro restrictions) paired with a small salad and rice. Level with me, BBQ chicken is something I order really to test the waters and I can honestly say, one of the better BBQ chickens I have had. Though this review doesn't do Rustic Spoon much justice, I would highly recommend swinging by. I will, I would love to try some more traditional flavors such as the different curries and soups. Looking forward to the follow up!

If you're someone who enjoys traditional, high-quality nigiri and sashimi, this probably won't be your go-to spot. Shiki is all about comfort sushi: big rolls loaded with imitation crab, creamy sauces, baked toppings, and bold flavors. It's rich, indulgent, and definitely on the heavier side. That said, when you're absolutely starving and just want something satisfying that hits the spot, Shiki delivers. The menu is huge with endless options, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Every time I've come here I've ended up ordering specialty rolls instead of actual sushi because that's really what this restaurant excels at. I also have to admit... baked rolls are one of my guilty pleasures. A lot of higher-end sushi restaurants don't even serve them because they're more of a comfort dish than traditional sushi, so Shiki scratches that itch perfectly. The service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and quick, which always makes the experience better. Will I be back? Probably not anytime soon, simply because I usually crave a more traditional sushi experience. But compared to other restaurants in this style and price range, Shiki does an excellent job. If you're looking for filling, flavorful specialty rolls with great value, this is an easy 5-star spot.

My son didn't make a reservation because it was a Wednesday night and he didn't think it would be crowded. But with 5 adults and a baby carriage, we had to wait for the right table because the somewhat small restaurant was full. We soon got a good spot and ordered the shrimp ceviche and the pan fried dumplings for appetizers. The ceviche was served on a bed of crispy noodles and it was refreshing and satisfying. The dumplings were crispy, not greasy, and flavorful. For dinner, we got 2 orders of japchae and 3 orders of bibimbap. With 2 Korean-born children and having visited the country, those are among our family's favorite dishes. And they did not disappoint. The japchae noodles were just right. They were not too firm and not too soft and well-seasoned. With a mixture of veggies, meat, mushrooms, eggs, and that delectable sauce, the bibimbap tickled and satiated the tastebuds. I told the server there was a birthday at the table and she brought out an excellent creme brulee with a candle in it. My husband and I didn't pay the bill. But the prices were reasonable with most of the entrees costing less than $20 each. We have four more days in town and may very well make another visit to indulge in that scrumptious food.

The atmosphere felt cozy, and the dark-colored walls gave the restaurant an old-fashioned feel while still feeling modern. It was a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I ordered the veggie rolls as an appetizer; they came out quickly and all the ingredients tasted fresh, light, and crisp. It was a wonderful combination of cucumber, carrots, cilantro, cabbage, and lettuce. The dipping sauce was a nice change from the usual peanut sauce you find elsewhere. It still had that familiar peanut flavor along with a little spice and tanginess that made it stand out. For my entrée, I ordered the panang curry with chicken and thought it was excellent. The curry had a rich coconut flavor with a zesty and bright punch from the kaffir lime leaves. The consistency was spot on too. It wasn't overly creamy and thick, but it wasn't too watery like a basic soup either. The chicken also was impressive because it was tender and soft throughout instead of dry or overcooked. The Japanese pumpkin was cooked well, staying tender while still holding its shape, with a subtle sweetness and earthy flavor that worked well in the curry. Even the brown rice was surprisingly good. It had a nice complex flavor with a slight sweetness that complemented the curry without overpowering it. My only small complaint was that it took a little while to get the check, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. That said, they seemed to be doing a lot of takeout business. During the roughly 45 minutes I was there, I saw at least four or five people come in to pick up orders, so they were definitely staying busy behind the scenes. Overall, I thought Rustic Spoon served really flavorful Thai food with quality ingredients in a cozy atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

We've gotten takeout from here a few times and it's always been good!…read more Here's what I've tried: Pad Thai with Ground Beef - My husband ordered this dish, and it came in a very generous portion. I thought it was too sweet for me and it didn't taste like most Pad Thais I've had or come to expect, but it was still okay. Veggie Rolls - This is pretty much salad/lettuce in a spring roll, and the peanut sauce is what makes it delicious. Not very large or filling, but good if you want some side greens. If you have a peanut allergy, skip these because they're kinda boring without the sauce. Panang Curry with Filet Mignon and added Japanese Pumpkin - This was a good dish! The steak was cooked a little too well for my liking, but it was generous in portion and the sauce was really flavorful. I was glad I added the pumpkin. Filet Mignon Pho - Not my favorite pho ever, but I liked that they offered Thai and Vietnamese options. When I ordered online, I didn't see in the description that it included bean sprouts or basil and that I had to order them for $2 each. I like my pho with every dang thing, so I spent the extra $4. The items did already come with the pho, plus I got an extra bag that I didn't really need to order. The steak was thinly sliced and tender, I just wish there was more of it. Salmon Rolls - These are pretty heavy, the fresh salmon is fried on the outside and rare on the inside. They come with a few dipping sauces, including a spicy mustard that I liked. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be. However, I will come back for that Thai tea dessert because I've fallen in love.
