The dogs did well but this type of training did not addresses some of the behavior issues. Amber came n and observed the dogs and all the family members so we could address the issues with all the dogs and family members. We were able to come up with a plan. 1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience…read more This evening my wife and I went into the Petco in Midlothian, TX at 7:46 PM. The store was slow, with only one customer checking out, yet the level of service was terrible. I spent about 20 minutes in the fish department and not a single employee came by to offer help. My wife asked Kevin, the night manager, if someone could assist me. He called over a young lady with burgundy hair, who told my wife, "I'll help him soon, I just need to turn off the reptile tank lights." During that time, we made eye contact multiple times, but she never acknowledged me or said a word. When she finally came over, her attitude was rushed and unfriendly. She asked, "Do you know what you want and how many?"--very much a hurry-up tone. While waiting, I noticed dead fish in multiple tanks throughout the department. Because of this, I told her never mind and decided not to buy anything. I then spoke directly to Kevin and asked what was going on. He told me they were having serious pH water issues and that the tanks should be quarantined. Yet they are still selling these sick fish. I've been a loyal customer at this location for years, but between the lack of customer service, poor attitude, and knowingly selling unhealthy fish, I've lost confidence in this store. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my pet business elsewhere. Thank you for the response. I'm requesting contact from corporate or an area/regional manager with a direct phone number or email. Calling the store number will not resolve this issue, as Kevin (the night manager involved) answered the phone when I just called. This concern goes beyond an in-store discussion, and I would appreciate escalation to the appropriate level of management.

He was never a bad dog but I wanted him trained to walk with me off-leash and he would occasionally have resource-guarding issues that I wanted to break. During the five weeks, I got to visit him only once but I knew he was in great hands. Shortly after I picked him up, we went on a road trip. And that's when strangers first started complimenting how well-behaved he is. After returning home, we started going back to his favorite dog park and people always asked how I got him so well-trained. A few months later, I guess I finally decided to try walking with him off leash following not only the training they gave him but me. I was shocked I actually had better control of him off leash than on. The Collar Club is definitely the best investment I've made in my dog and I'm so grateful I did.

I saw a dog walking in the park and it was sooo well mannered, I rolled down the window and asked. Next day had a free evaluation with Mindy and that was the beginning of getting my dream dog. She went 4 days and I picked her up at the end of the day for my training. We are currently in our year long group classes and both Lucy and I look forward each class. Training was a joke. What was meant to take 5 weeks took well over two months. The trainer worked…read morewith my dog for maybe 10 minutes tops per lesson and then sat around for the next 50 minutes. Cancelled lessons on me the day of and even hours before constantly for personal plans. When I reached out about my issues with training I met with another trainer because it was agreed the training needed to be started over. We had one training session before I started working two jobs. I reached out and asked for a refund since I would no longer be able to do repeat training. Owner was supposed to call me but instead chose to text which shows how unprofessional they are. They insisted there would be no refund and my only option was repeat training. They were rude and condescending and completely unwilling to help or work with me. I asked for a copy of the contract I signed which does not say anything about no refunds. They told me that since their trainer had already been paid they couldn't help me. Unreal. The reason I signed up when I did was because I had just gotten my puppy and wanted to start training ASAP. I was unemployed at the time so the expense for training was a big one, but I believed it to be worth it as I had hopes for this dog to be a therapy dog. I had plenty of time then to go to training and work with her at home. With my new schedule for work everything would be far too disruptive. The contract I signed even states that for best results, things need to be completed in a timely manner. However the owner of the company tried to tell me even if the trainings were spaced out over a year it would be fine. I would have been better off watching YouTube videos and working from those.
