Grooming before

This business is located in a small strip mall off Main Street. I called to schedule an appointment for grooming and asked for pricing for a toy poodle. I was quoted about $48. I don't know if that's reasonable since I have never owned a dog before. I thought I was team cat but after having Max I'm surely loving every minute of his love and affection. I digress! They need 24 hrs cancelation notice or there's a $25 fee. The business is old and needs major updates. It doesn't have aisles merchandise. Selection is limited. Groomers are friendly. I dropped my dog off at 8 am and he was ready by 2 pm. He looked so handsome with his fresh new cut. I will bring him back here again. I want the dog to become familiar so he's not terrified. It's a small business. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought my pup twice for grooming. First time it was immaculate. This second time not so much!! When I picked my pup up she had dried white stuff in her hair what seemed to be dried conditioner not really sure. Her nails were not filed down which caused me and my two daughter scratches from her uneven nails. Her coat was barely trimmed when she took a poop her poop got stuck in her hair by her tail because of the lack of trimming there. I won't be returning. Never bothered to tell management. My schedule is so hectic I didn't notice any of the above til' after we got home and I didn't have time to go back. Customer service is always great as usual but I was highly dissatisfied with the quality of the grooming that I last received.

COVID-19 rules

Staff was nice. One younger lady was rude. She didn't thank me for shopping there and was rude about requiring my 3 year old to wear a mask when it's not required by Dallas county. It's recommended by the CDC and I respect the rule; just be considerate of little ones. I'm not sure I would come again.

Bite wounds in my dog

HORRIBLE PLACE! BE WARE! We have always tried to buy from local business and have bought our food supply here for a couple of years because our pets food is only sold at local stores. The customer service has always been subpar, but we tried not to judge. We finally tried taking our our bulldogs for grooming for the first time here on Saturday. We were optimistic it would be a good experience. We were wrong! They tell you the drop off is 8-10 am and when they are done they will call. When we arrived they were cramming all the dogs as they arrived in crates where they sit all day until it's their turn. When we picked up our dogs from their appointment after 6 hrs, they seemed okay at first, but we got home and they were not themselves. We thought nothing of maybe it was just a long day, but my female did not come out of her bed all weekend, she was afraid to come out. Now it's Monday and we notice my male bulldog limping. HE WAS BIT by another dog and this horrible place did not even notify me something had happened to my dog. Of course they are closed now but will be calling the manager/owner first thing in the morning!

I really l kind keep this little place. Groomers are super nice and flexible. They really seem to love dogs and make them comfortable.

I was a little nervous about bringing my golden retriever here as reviews seemed to be pretty mixed…read moreonline. I did decide to at least give them a try because they are so close to my home and I really wanted to support a locally owned business. They were able to get my golden retriever in right away when I called. The lady I spoke to on the phone was incredibly kind and reassuring. When I got to their location, I noticed they had many COVID 19 protections in place requiring both masks and social distancing. The woman I spoke to when dropping of my golden was very professional and seemed knowledgeable. She told me to to expect him to be ready in 1-1.5 hours. One hour and 15 minutes later, I received the call to pick him up. Upon pickup, I dealt with an older woman who was also extremely kind and knowledgeable. My golden retriever looked and smelled great, he also did not seem stressed or upset in the slightest when they brought him to me. The price was around $100 which was more than reasonable considering how overgrown my golden was. My only complaint would probably be that they did not trim enough off of his ears. However, for his first time, I would much rather them be conservative when cutting his fur then taking off too much. Overall, I am more than satisfied on their grooming job considering how wild my golden's coat was when we arrived. I will definitely be going back.

I have brought my dog to this business for many years, and the older gentleman and woman who usually assist me have always been kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. However, this young man--who stated he is the owner's son--displayed an attitude that was completely unprofessional. When I told him his tone was rude and that he needed to be more professional, he responded with, "Ohhhh, I have a smile on my face," as if that excused his behavior. It was dismissive and disrespectful. If this is the level of customer service they are now willing to accept, it is truly unfortunate. I sincerely hope this young man learns how to treat customers appropriately, because in any other workplace, this behavior would not be tolerated. After nearly 9 years of loyalty, I will no longer be returning. It saddens me to say that this business has lost a long‑time customer due to one employee's lack of professionalism. If I could give zero stars, I would.
