I've been getting my dogs groomed here for over 5 years. They always do a good job and provide the cutest bandanas. The workers remember me and always ask about my dog when I go there. They have better mealworms compared to PetSmart. The employees are very helpful and friendly when you walk in. The store is very clean and organized. This business is located in a small strip mall off Main Street. I called to schedule an appointment for grooming and asked for pricing for a toy poodle. I was quoted about $48. I don't know if that's reasonable since I have never owned a dog before. I thought I was team cat but after having Max I'm surely loving every minute of his love and affection. I digress! They need 24 hrs cancelation notice or there's a $25 fee. The business is old and needs major updates. It doesn't have aisles merchandise. Selection is limited. Groomers are friendly. I dropped my dog off at 8 am and he was ready by 2 pm. He looked so handsome with his fresh new cut. I will bring him back here again. I want the dog to become familiar so he's not terrified. Please do not purchase fish from here. I have patronized with this store twice, and experienced deaths for both Peacock African cichlids. Why did I go twice? The first time I thought it was an issue on my end but after having a professional come and inspect the tank, that was not the cause. Purchased a replacement fish, and it died in less than 48 hours. I've tried to give the benefit of the doubt but after $80 gone down the drain, literally, I can't. read more

I brought my pup twice for grooming. First time it was immaculate. This second time not so much!! When I picked my pup up she had dried white stuff in her hair what seemed to be dried conditioner not really sure. Her nails were not filed down which caused me and my two daughter scratches from her uneven nails. Her coat was barely trimmed when she took a poop her poop got stuck in her hair by her tail because of the lack of trimming there. I won't be returning. Never bothered to tell management. My schedule is so hectic I didn't notice any of the above til' after we got home and I didn't have time to go back. Customer service is always great as usual but I was highly dissatisfied with the quality of the grooming that I last received. read more

This pet grooming service is not the best at all, my dogs are always jacked up when I picked him up even after carefully going over with the groomers what type of cut is requested! They have all these pictures on the wall of cuts that they did or they stole from somewhere. However, I am always assured that my request will be granted, but when I pick up my dogs 4 hours later to pay $106, my dogs look a mess opposite of what I ask for based on their breed and the cut specifically for them! I am met with excuse after excuse for why this keeps happening! It is sad that I have to drive across town to get proper grooming for my dogs, when I honestly try to keep supporting businesses in my community! read more

HORRIBLE PLACE! BE WARE! We have always tried to buy from local business and have bought our food supply here for a couple of years because our pets food is only sold at local stores. The customer service has always been subpar, but we tried not to judge. We finally tried taking our our bulldogs for grooming for the first time here on Saturday. We were optimistic it would be a good experience. We were wrong! They tell you the drop off is 8-10 am and when they are done they will call. When we arrived they were cramming all the dogs as they arrived in crates where they sit all day until it's their turn. When we picked up our dogs from their appointment after 6 hrs, they seemed okay at first, but we got home and they were not themselves. We thought nothing of maybe it was just a long day, but my female did not come out of her bed all weekend, she was afraid to come out. Now it's Monday and we notice my male bulldog limping. HE WAS BIT by another dog and this horrible place did not even notify me something had happened to my dog. Of course they are closed now but will be calling the manager/owner first thing in the morning! read more

Stopped in this store for the first time today. Took my dog, just got him from a shelter, yesterday! I thought I would look for some supplies. Called first to be sure I could bring my dog inside the store, we were already in the parking lot. They said yes, as long as he is on a leash. Great, get in the store go to the aisle with dog treats. The guy who showed a willingness to assist came right over to me, immediately, when I entered the store. So, I stand on the treat aisle, searching through treats. All of a sudden the guy "yells" about my dog drinking water from a bowl. I did not even realize my dog was drinking water from a bowl on the floor. It scared me, I thought the water was a chemical or something. The guy says, the water and food belong to the cats and the "count will be off" if my dog eats the food. My dog only wanted water, hot weather. Secondly, how was I supposed to know there is a "count" to recognize, I was just a customer. Needless to say, I will not go back. And frankly, not much to look at for dogs. I will scratch this one off the list. Small store, small town, small minds. I wonder do they yell at you in PetSmart? read more

We come here to get saltwater fish. At other pet stores, the people have been super stuck up and rude as if we don't know what we're doing (my husband has had saltwater fish since he was a kid). But here, they're so friendly and helpful but also let you do your thing. Plus, the fish have always been super healthy. And affordable! I wrote a review a while back and I decided today I would give this place another try. Today was worse than the last time. I did not get a warm reception. The owner me up about a review that I wrote the last time. He he started out with had not seen you in a long time I said yes you have it. He said I read your review about me some true and some not true I told him from my perspective what I had experienced all of it was true. He stated that I don't know why you would think I would forget who you are. What? I told him that this is not personal this is a business transaction. I have never disrespected this guy I always carried myself in a very proper manner when I go into his store eagerly to spend my money. Trying to pick up a hobby that I had 40 years of experience in and to walk into the store with this type aura it's just unacceptable. He also stated that I killed my fish sir I have spent hundred dollars with you and for you to imply that I would kill one fish is absurd. I still today have fish that I bought from you a year-and-a-half ago is still living. He then goes on to order with me about my review so I asked him do you value your customers? He then tells me yes I told him apparently not because you're running most valuable customers away. He agreed that I spend x amount of dollars in his store. He is very unprofessional, his people skill is lacking and he is also very arrogant. Buyer beware. I have no complaints about the staff they are very helpful. So concluding he told me he did not want my money and I will not be bringing my money back to him. If you treat me your customer like you did and all of your other customers the same way so you won't be in business long. With an attitude like you have you will deterred a new hobbyist from being in this business. This hobby is supposed to be fun for collecting and a relaxing experience. read more

We will be taking our dog else where because the quality of grooming is poor. We have a high-spirited, small, mixed bread (poodle, cocker, yorky). It has been about a year since we began taking her to Pet Village. We take her quarterly, we have a picture on file for reference, & we recently began giving her a mild sedative to help keep her calm during the grooming process. Her first grooming was excellent! However, each appointment that followed got progressively less well done & increased in price by a few dollars. We have had to return our dog for follow ups after the scheduled the appointment to correct styling, uneven cutting, & not removing hair from ears. We spoke with the grooming manger when this occurred for the 2nd time, & she assured us that she would personally groom our dog the next time we brought her in. Well, that solution did not change anything. Again, our dog did not have the hair removed from her ears & her cut was uneven & stray hairs are present around her paws & pads of feet. Again the manager was addressed and her excuse was that our dog is too high strung. So instead of a solution, this manager tells us what is wrong with our dog. Clearly they no longer desire our business and that is ok with us. read more

NEVER taking my yorkie back to get groomed. I took my yorkie this past weekend and it was our third time ever going. I dropped him off and everything was fine but when we went to get him was the issue. When I get to pick him up, I paid and waited for them to bring my dog up. They brought me the WRONG yorkie. I told them it wasn't my dog and they kept insisting he was my dog. We went back and forth and they finally told me to wait a minute while they go look in the back. When they came back they had my dog in the other hand and asked me if it was him, which it was. But he had the completely wrong hair cut. What happened was, after they washed both dogs they got switched when they were placed back in the kennel. So the other yorkie got my dog's desired haircut and my dog got the other yorkie's haircut. We are very particular about our yorkie's haircut and specifically showed pictures as to how we would like his hair to look (long but still trimmed and shaped). They COMPLETELY SHAVED my dog. They were very understanding of our unhappiness and offered free baths in the future but I told them I would have to speak with my mom (since she's the one really in charge of him) and ask what she would the baths or if she just wants to get her money back. My mom was out of town and when she got back and saw him so was very very upset. I called and told them we were just wanting to go ahead and get our money back and the lady Stephanie (who is apparently part owner of the establishment) argued saying we weren't getting our money back. Her arguments were : "You understand that he doesn't come in very often so you can't be upset that we weren't able to recognize him and accidentally switched them" "He still got a bath and nails clipped so he still received a service" "I never offered a refund I only offered free baths" "We have new washers and groomers so a situation like this has never happened before" And when my mom called after I spoke and argued with them she told my mother "you weren't there so you don't even know what happened" My mother and I were very very upset at the way they argued back and forth with us when we only approached them with complete understanding. We understand that it's just hair and it will grow back and that is the reason why when it happened we weren't yelling at them and causing a scene. But at the end of the day we were provided a service we were very very unhappy with and we knew we wouldn't be going back and that it why we just wanted our money back. Stephanie was very rude and did not want to admit that they had messed up. read more
