The old owners were amazing! The new ones not so much! Been taking my dog there for years but I will now find somewhere else. They don't offer near as many services (hair dye etc.) They text instead of calling for everything. They lied and said it was the same groomer but it was not. The new groomer is not as good as the one before. Also very petty and penny pinching. My dog had to go to the emergency room and missed her grooming appointment and they charged a $20 no show fee. Which it's not the point of the $20 (I have it it's not an issue) it's the point that I've patronized the business for years and given no consideration for my dog being too sick to come for grooming. read more

Have come to this groomer with my Basset Hound and senior Chihuahua for several months having moved from out of state last October. Due to COVID19, the hours at Pup it Up are quite different from what I can see here on YELP. I believe the hours currently there are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. which doesn't seem to be good hours for most folks who work. My previous groomer in my former state had hours from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Anyway, both my dogs have usually looked fresh and clean coming home from Pup It Up. Today (Tuesday) I tried calling for an appointment for possibly this week and was told that there were no openings until next Tuesday. I have never had problems in the past to schedule an appointment, but this time I told Leticia I would check around for an appointment elsewhere that was sooner. My dogs haven't had a bath since before the freeze earlier this month and they both need a bath badly. So while I was on the phone with another groomer making an appt. for this week, I could see that Leticia was calling me back in the middle of that call. I made the appointment with the other groomer and returned the call to Pup It where Leticia told me she had made a mistake. I apologized and told her that I already scheduled appointments with another groomer for this week. She said she understood. I am a good customer and do leave tips for both groomers. I was sad that Pup It Up couldn't at least see if there would be a possible opening sometime this week or perhaps call me back later this week in the event of a cancellation rather than being told outright that there was nothing until next Tuesday. read more

The grooming services were great. However, they are selective about scheduling appointments. Each time I tried to reschedule a visit, they'd say that they (allegedly) didn't have any availability for 2-3 months (or longer!). So, if you want your pets on a consistent grooming schedule so that they can be familiar with one location, maintain their appearance, you have special occasions, etc. this isn't the grooming salon. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Pup It Up due to the scheduling inconsistency. read more

Pup It Up did great work on my dog and I appreciate them for doing a wonderful service in that regard. However, I set an appointment to have my groomed at 10am and did not get my dog until about 4pm. There was poor communication and they made it seem as if it was as my fault for getting my dog so late. I did physically check in with the store around 1 (2 hours of them having my dog), and it was stated to me, by the groomer, my dog has not been worked on yet because they are a little behind. We called a little after 3pm and no one answered, so we physically went up to the store. Imagine walking into a building with the lights shut off after hearing no one answer the phone. Our hearts were in our stomach and so much was going through our heads as to what could of happened to our dog. Anyways, the lights were off and there was a young man inside cleaning up with no groomers around. There were a bunch of excuses thrown around by the young man as to what happened with getting my dog and he stated they attempted to call me and left a voicemail, but when I checked, there was no record of it on my cell (I even checked with my phone carrier). We asked where his record of it was, to which he stated "we can't see that". He proceeded to state they have been having trouble with phone calls and that we "should leave a voicemail next time". We were taken aback by this comment, as well as some other stuff was said, and I 100% think they were putting the blame onto us instead of taking their own responsibility (I promise, it was one excuse after another). No apology was given (no efforts of one were ever made) and no attempt for a discount of having my dog all day was made as well. ‍ read more

We've been taking our dogs Riley and Banner to pup it up for grooming for over a year now, and we love it. Our dogs are nervous and do not like strangers, but the groomers tell us every time that they're great and have no problems with them. They always smell nice and clean after being groomed and always look so cute! We always felt bad dropping them off because our one dog in particular is extremely anxious about going to the vet/groomer, but in a picture Pup It Up posted on their social media, she had a happy face and was getting groomed with our other baby, who also had a big smile on his face! It made my husband and I so happy to see they were being taken care of despite how big of buttheads they can be haha. The employees are always kind and are hard workers, so we're happy to support Pup it Up! They're always busy, so make sure to call at least a month or two ahead for grooming!! read more

Wonderful! We have been using Pup It Up every summer for about four years now. They have always done a great job. I was informed the other day that they're under new management now. It seems even better now than it was before! The people were incredibly friendly and made the whole process simple and quick for us. They were speedy, and our dog looks perfect! They did everything we asked them to and I was relieved that they didn't use strong perfumed shampoo. Their prices are reasonable too. Thanks Pup It Up! AMAZING BOARDING/TRAINING & GROOMING ! Grooming - I have two golden retrievers, it's hard to find a good groomer! Both my babies (4yrs old) felt like puppies after their baths and never smelt so good. One of the my goldens has long hair so I went ahead and got him cut! They did such an amazing job, he looks like a show dog! I would have his feathering a little but longer but that's on me... I didn't give details (I'm picky about his feathering, again I didn't give details and in a week it will be grown out). He has the perfect golden retriever cut! Boarding / Training- Again AMAZING! I'll start off with training...one of our golden retrievers was out of control. He pulls so hard he basically will rip your arm out of the socket! We have tried EVERYTHING! Kendra said she'll be able to have him walking on a leash and in public by the time I returned 4 days, I believed her but of course had my doubt. When we picked them up she showed me the proper way to correct him, etc. When she was showing me how to correct the behavior or pulling, etc. He literally looked as if he was in the ring being showed. It was unreal. I walked him this morning and did the tools she gave me and I honestly didn't have to hold the leash, it was resting my my hand! I highly recommend Kendra for all of your training needs! Also they do boarding, at their house. It is set up for runs etc. We prefer family flies in but that can't always happen, so we had boarded both our dogs a good handful of times. MY Babies have NEVER came back so happy and relaxed. Kendra did a wonderful job all around! I couldn't be more impressed. (We've boarded at petsmart, kountry klub acres, they've always come back depressed no one gave them any attention, etc.) I highly suggest boarding, training, grooming with Kendra at Pup It Up! Also it smells clean when you walk in!! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! read more

Took my dogs to Pup It Up which I've done before. Usual cost $70. This time $140 because she was telling me that I should pick this package of three services because it would make it cheaper. She didn't say that they were add-ons in addition to the regular charge and that it would only be cheaper than if I chose those additional services separately. I was in a hurry so I wasn't thinking and didn't question her. My bad. On top of that, she called at 1:30 p.m. and told me she was closing and I needed to come get my dogs immediately. The hours on the door said 8 am - 6 pm and she hadn't said anything about closing early when I dropped them off at noon. Had to drop what I was doing and rush to the shop. Then, when I picked my dogs up, one was still wet. She had not been thoroughly dried. I contacted her about all of this. Not apologetic at all. She did refund me a whopping $20 but was closed (early again) when I went by to pick it up. Poorest customer service I have seen in a long time. read more
