First time here - loved it. At our 'former' groomer in Weatherford, we're used to dropping our dog off and leaving her there, pretty much all day. This is with an appointment earlier in the day. I was never happy about this. Well, no more. We're thrilled with the process at Bubbles and Bows here in our new home of Mansfield. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. They completed Tinker's groom in about 2 hours and she got to lounge in a special area with other groomed dogs afterwards. When we picked her up, she seemed to be in great spirits and not stressed. Yes, we paid a premium here vs our old place in Weatherford but we feel the stress reduction for Tinker, not waiting in a cage all day to be groomed is worth it. We've already made our next appointment. read more

Star for the cute name. And star for acknowledging our appt upon arrival. Not a fan of the daycare. It's smaller than expected. Records not Checked or Verified Something was amiss when they took my word for it when I was asked over the phone if my dog was fully vaccinated. Verbal yes got us in. My previous daycare (Dog City) needed the works uploaded on file and they had to review and approve. No Visibility Secondly, I can't see in from the outside. The decorative bannee covers the front and side windows. At the very bottom you can see ( and I saw tiny dogs. There is no web cam. I have multiple pics and video from Dog City. I watched my dog on doggie Web Cam. I recommend the for business as well as the pawrents. This helps corroborate any issues like The Snap. Read on! The Snap Issue I was told my super shy dog snapped at the employee's dog. Snapping is not okay. I've seen my neutered dog hump other dogs but not snap. But I won't deny what I was told. However, when you walk in the employee's dog barks at you from beginning to end. The on-duty dog barked nonstop at my dog. The employee had to stop our convo to reprimand her dog. I don't justify snapping but I do encourage being keen to when two dogs just don't mesh. That's life. I just prefer more oversight. This review is specifically for the day care and not the grooming which I'm unfamiliar with. read more

I highly recommend Bubbles & Bows. It was a new experience for both Leila and I as her first experience at a groomers didn't go to well but here at bubbles & bows We were greeted with a beautiful smile by the front desk girl Bailey. She explained the process of the hair cuts and styles (that I knew nothing about). Veronica and her staff were so friendly and welcomed leila with open arms. I warned them about her being a princess and they treated her like one veronica sat on the floor with her and eased her in . It was the sweetest. We will definitely be back. DO NOT USE BUBBLES AND BOWS! When I picked up my dog yesterday, I noticed he couldn't keep his eye open. I turned around and went back inside. Veronica took him to the back to flush his eye with saline. When she returned, she stated the groomer noticed his eye was irritated after bathing him (this was not mentioned when I picked him up). Veronica said it may be just irritated from shampoo or a hair and to call her later that night if it doesn't clear. I waited until this morning to give it a good amount of time to clear up. When he got up, he still couldn't keep his eye completely open and it was extremely gunky. I cleaned his eye and called Veronica letting her know I would be going to the pet store to buy some eye wash. She was fine with that and said she would credit my account with however much it cost. She then changed it to thinking his eye may have been scratched. I waited a few more hours after cleaning it and still saw no improvement. So I called my vet and they said to bring him in since eye injuries can get worse quickly. I called Veronica to let her know. I asked if she would cover the vet bill and she refused. She said she doesn't think it need to be seen by a vet and thought I should wait a few more days. Eyes are one thing you should not wait on treating! She also said she would not cover his vet bill because she cannot afford to pay ER fees. I informed her they are not only an emergency vet and that is his routine vet. She said she didn't care and wasn't going to cover it unless she had a written note from the vet saying they caused it. My dog did not have any issues when I dropped him off and came out with an injured eye. Long story short, IF THEY INJURE YOUR DOG, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY. read more

The staff is super friendly and always so caring to Clipsy. My favorite part is that they do not put the dogs in a kennel (there is an option to though) so they are able to roam free. Just took my pup here for a nail clipping. The staff here was fantastic with her. My dog isn't aggressive but will not be still for a clipping and I have clipped lots of other dogs in my life. But this team took her and managed getting them clipped and were very good with her. And only $15! We will only use these guys going forward they are A+. read more

Today I called Bubbles and Bows last minute, our dog needed her nails trimmed in the worst way. I spoke to the owner, Veronica, and told her that we were in the area and she agreed to stay a few minutes over and help us. When we arrived, she and her assistant went to work and quickly trimmed Bella's nails. They were happy to help even tho we were keeping them late. I took my 3 month old standard poodle in for a bath and nail trim! They took their time to make him feel comfortable and to introduce him to all the different things. Phineas was the happiest little puppy when I arrived to pick him up. You can tell he wasn't scared at being there and comfortably laid down in the waiting area while I paid. They did excellent! I even love how they allow them to play with other dogs during their wait instead of crating them. This was my first time visiting this place. They are definitely higher for their service then our previous place who was $10 less for a Cavapoo but overall they do a good job and even provided a report card. First I should say that it took me two weeks to calm down enough to objectively write this review. My dog was groomed on June 28th, he was severely cut on his neck with the clippers leaving a very painful cut that exposed his flesh..Instead of being notified and informed so we could take precautions against infection and provide him the necessary medication to avoid any other issues due to his health and have an adult conversation with them as to the events the groomer decided to cover the fresh wound with a bandana.. yes that is correct they placed a bandana on his neck with the fresh wound under his chin and did not say a word to us during pick up and my husband even tipped generously as usual. My dog got home and he was severely distressed by the bandana, we took it off to ease his distress only to find the wound. I must say this was not a small wound and obviously impossible for any groomer to miss...I understand mistakes happen and dogs may not always enjoy grooming but what we find unforgivable is to let our dog suffer needlessly beyond the cut and fail to inform us and then go ahead putting a bandana on his wound and try to hide it therefore subjecting him to unnecessary suffering and at risk for infection. Two weeks later our dog is still recovering. I have pictures of the wound and every time I see them my blood boils. read more

I used them for the first time last week after being dissatisfied with my previous groomers. They were extremely friendly and personable and you could tell they really love their jobs and dogs! I have a high energy senior dog who gets extremely anxious and nervous while getting groomed, making it difficult to keep him still at times. They only had positive things to say about how awesome he was and how much they loved him. He was very happy when I came to pick him up and not nervous at all! Our female husky was so averse to having her nails trimmed, we were almost to the point of sedation. These women went waaaayyyyy over the top and got the job done. I'm going to be honest. I have never let my 11 year old chocolate Labrador go to the groomers. I had a horrible experience at Pet Smart a few years ago and swore never again.
