I brought my truck in for an alignment because this shop was recommended by the Discount Tire down the street, from which I treated my truck to a brand new set of tires from last week. My truck's steering was a bit out of whack considering she just turn 180k miles old. The entire job took about an hour, so I just waited in the lobby. Nice variety of Road and Track magazines, 425 (local magazine) and some other high end accessories for high end home mags as well as some good tunes playing courtesy of KZOK. I only took off one star because everytime the door to the shop opened up, I would get a waff of exhaust, motor oils, and other chemicals and my head would begin to spin. Mirraz was my technician and he was top notch and very thorough. He also complemented that I have a nice truck... Well I do...

Glen did a superb job on my car, including explaining exactly what was wrong. I'll go back.

WARNING: They Damaged My Car and Still Charged $5700 plus…read moreZERO STAR!!! This is without question one of the worst auto repair shops I've ever dealt with. I brought my Mercedes GL450 in for suspension work. They kept my vehicle for more than a week and then charged me $5700 plus. Instead of fixing my car properly, they damaged it. During their work, they broke the coolant radiator and all the related hoses, causing coolant leaks that did not exist before I brought the car in. This damage was clearly the result of their negligence, yet they refused to take responsibility or offer a proper resolution. Charging luxury-car prices while delivering careless, incompetent work is unacceptable. Keeping a customer's car for over a week and returning it in worse condition shows a complete lack of professionalism and skill. I was left with extra repair costs, lost time, and serious frustration--all because this shop failed to do a basic job correctly. If you value your vehicle, especially a Mercedes or any high-end car, stay away from this shop. Paying $5700 plus to have your car damaged is something no customer should ever experience.

Oops!! Changing my review as of today!…read moreZero stars!! Took my son's car in today for some warranty work. And they were very tight-lipped about it, but they finally disclosed when I became angry that Joe is no longer the owner of this establishment. After receiving an estimate that was going to be a couple of $1000 (that should have been for free), I angrily left with my family. Stay away!! I will never again step foot within this establishment!!!

I truly never thought I would be here giving a tire shop 5 stars, but here I am! I have been to a…read morefew different places to get my car fixed in the past, but this was the location closest to my house with the soonest availability, so I went here. My back right tire was continuing to lose air and I was filling it every few weeks. I finally brought it in after it got lower than usual. The mechanic was great at dumbing things down for me and giving me all the options. He said they could fix it, but that my tires were in really bad shape and it might be better to replace them all instead. I wasn't sure if this was just sales, but he took me to look at my tires compared to new ones and WOW. Whoops, my bad for never replacing them. I told him that I work from home and really only drive to see friends or go to appointments and hardly ever go over the pass, and he showed me some discount tires that would work for my needs without any extras. I liked that he gave me several quotes and options but still recommended the least expensive based on my needs, felt very genuine. He also didn't judge me when I asked what "fixing my alignment means" and showed me how my alignment would affect my driving. This also felt like a genuine add on. For a full set of new tires and alignment repair, I was there an hour and a half. The waiting room is HUGE! Tons of seating and plugs, plus they had popcorn and water. Really clean too. I brought my airpods, laptop, and ipad so I could work and watch tv while I was there. Free fast wifi too! It was a wonderful, quiet, clean place to wait. When I was checking out, the sales associate said that the would send me reminders to get my tires rotated so these would last me as long as possible. This was awesome, because I know I would forget. Within 20 seconds of driving off I FELT the difference in my car. I regret waiting so long to go in and get everything checked out!

In the last year, I have brought my car there about 6, the 4 punctures. 1 flat tire where they fixed the valve stem, and a tire balancing. I paid $30 for all of it. The only thing that costed money was the balancing. And it was something like $7.50 a tire. Love this place. Best tire shop in Kirkland by a mile.

I expect this will be my last trip into Firestone. I've been getting my oil changed here for a…read morecouple years and have simply ignored their other service recommendations. This last visit was just too much for me to keep that up. I came in for an oil change. They recommended tires, which were needed (I got a better tire elsewhere for less), but what absolutely blew me away was their recommendation for a new engine air filter. I'd replaced it less than a month earlier. They even included a helpful picture of a fairly dirty filter on top of my battery - only problem is that wasn't my filter. I just checked (and took my own pic) over a month after my visit and mine still looks great. Air filters are one of the easiest things to replace, typically requiring no tools, making them one of the fastest ways for shops to make money. This is one of the most basic tests for how honest a shop is. Sorry Firestone, you couldn't have failed harder. They also recommended replacing portions of my suspension (verbally, not detailed on the "Courtesy Check") so I brought my car into my mechanic. My suspension is fine (huh, whoever snuck into my garage and replaced the air filter must have also worked on the suspension), but it turns out that the oil pan gasket and filter are badly leaking. After a month of driving, the oil was already fairly sludgy simply because of buildup in the oil pan (assuming it was fresh when they put it in). In other words, even the service that was performed had to be redone. Sure, it costs a bit more to have your oil changed at a shop that uses ASE certified mechanics but this is a good reminder to me why it's worth it.
