I called alignment services with questions about getting an alignment on my 350z. I mentioned that I have a low lip, and if that'll be a problem. Guy says he aligns Ferrari's, so no problem. I stop by on a Thursday just for him to check it out to see if he can do it. He says sure, and pushes me to schedule an appointment the next day. I show up at the appointment time on Friday, and he doesn't say a word other than "I'm gonna need your keys" goes to pull my car in, doesn't even angle it up the driveway, just heads straight on and scrapes the whole exhaust terribly. When he gets it up to the alignment rack he determines it won't go on. Pulls the car straight out scraping the crap out of it, and says "it's all yours". read more

Go to this shop. Price is incredibly low. Has a rack that can accommodate heavy trucks. No nonsense shop. I was given the rundown on suspension issues when I got my truck back. I know a lot about suspension (but I don't have a Hunter rack to do my own alignment) so I know I wasn't being BSed about my truck needing work. Made an appointment and showed up a little early but Chris took me right in. About 20 minutes later he came to the waiting area and told me my alignment was perfect and no further work was required. This is EXACTLY what Yelp is for. And I wish I could give zero stars. This place has possibly the most rude and unprofessional "owner" I have ever seen. She instructed Chris to take my car down off the rack and return the car to me incomplete. Apparently she was PO'd because my car was blocking the open bay and she had just driven up and wanted to park inside. Well instead of just simply asking me to move (which I would have been glad to), she sat in her car with the window down, with her blinker on and glared at me. I thought she was the next customer - how in the world was I supposed to know she wanted to get inside?? After several minutes I finally asked her "if she needed me to move or something?" She replied that she was the owner and wanted to park inside. So I said "why didn't you just say so - you didn't have to give me such a dirty look." A few minutes later Chris came out and drove my car up on the rack and I went inside to wait - she was sitting behind the counter. I said "hi" as I sat down and she gave no acknowledgment. Then she finally said "I can't believe you want to talk after you were so rude" and I replied with "I thought you were waiting as the next customer - how was I to know you wanted to get in if you didn't say anything?" She kept repeating how rude I was, so I said she wouldn't need to worry about again. She then went and had him take my car down off the rack and drive it out after only working on it for 5 minutes. She came back in the waiting room and said "you are done here - pick up your car". WOW! I mean really?? She so totally blew it out of proportion and she truly couldn't see the situation from my perspective as a new customer. And now I hope she will have less customers. read more

I made a same day appointment and was in and out in 20 minutes. I was charged 40% less than the dealer quoted me. How can you not be happy about that? I had noticed a slight steering wheel pull before my appointment and it's all straightened out now. As for the couple people who think the owner is not friendly, I'll admit, he's not bubbly but he answered all my questions to my satisfaction and was not rude. News flash to the world, there are lots of different personalities in the world and not everybody is bubbly and that's ok. I'd rather energy be spent on my car than on a phony warm and fuzzy experience. read more

Not much to add other than what's been posted. Took my 2003 325Ci here for an alignment and they know their stuff. They also accommodated my request to do toe-only up front. I watched the process and aside from up-to-date equipment, the staff looked like they knew exactly what they were doing and were very familiar with my vehicle. I also took our 2008 Mercedes C300 here for a pull to the right after an alignment at Mercedes Walnut Creek. The guy who met me was honest about how the job they'll do probably won't correct the problem. They've had other people with my type car aligned to spec and pull to the right like mine, which was the same result I got after my alignment at Mercedes. Still looking into why this is, but my point is that the staff didn't take me in and charge me for something they knew they wouldn't be able to remedy. Bottom line this is a good business. I've been looking for a good alignment place for a while that won't break the bank and this place is it. This place was recommended by America's Tire in Walnut Creek when I asked about alignments. I was afraid at first because it didn't have a fancy store front, but the reviews got me in the door. Glad I went in. read more

I agree with some of the other posts, you don't come here for customer service or the tiny waiting room. What you do come here for is a very short wait, honesty, and quality work. I rolled up 5 minutes late for my appointment and in less than 15 minutes Chris told me I didn't need an alignment and sent me on my way. I offered to pay for his time, but he wouldn't take it. I did some suspension work on my truck, wanted to get the tires aligned and called Chris. He told me to bring the car in as he had an opening and I did just that. Put the truck on the lift, and within 5 minutes said that my tires were aligned perfectly. Put the truck down and I was done in 10 minutes. Didn't charge me for his time for checking the alignment which in my opinion is the definition of customer service. Had I gone to Midas or any other chain, I am sure they would have charged me regardless, and now anytime I have an alignment issue I will be returning here without exception. read more

I stumbled upon this place on my way to Big O Tires... and thankful that I did. I recently had my tires worked on and also had all 4 struts replaced so it was advised that I also get the alignment done. I called Big O and they said I should get all 4 tires done for $99 plus a 6 month warranty. On a side note: dependent upon how much I drive, wouldn't 6 months (plus) be the amount of time in which I should come back anyhow, therefore making the warranty a moot point? LOL, anyway, I digress. To sum it up, Chris was honest with me, didn't try to give me some overly priced flat rate with the promise of some sparkly warranty (that I'll never use). I highly recommend this place and, keep in mind, although Chris isn't a high energy individual, he is an honest one with integrity. Above and beyond. On-time. Great value. I have brought 5 cars to Chris - all with varying degrees of challenge. One needed to have parts replaced by my mechanic first -- so they arranged to get the car between them and back and repaired & aligned. What a service. The other times have all been when promised. My wife went to Alignment Services today to get an alignment . They told her she didn't need it given the problems she described with the car. They said, get some new tires that are properly balanced and you should be good to go. Now " that's how you treat customers", you only provide services that are really needed. These guys are good at what they do and and are HONEST to boot! I was told by the dealership service dept I needed all four wheels alligned and I decided to take it to these guys instead. I requested that all 4 be alligned at this shop and he told me that after the inspection only the front needed the service. This saved me over half of the quoted price from the dealership service dept quote. My car handles great now. To sum it up... If you want an honest, no nonsense place let these guys do their work environment this place is for you. If you are looking for a fancy waiting room and warm and fuzzy receptionist to shower you in customer service this will not happen. first meeting: Chris found mechanical problems that required repairs not available from his shop before he could help on the alignment problem. No Charge. He offered to recommend a general mechanic but not with any pressure, obviously just as a convenience. I took the car to my mechanic and the diagnosis was confirmed -- he was spot on. second meeting: In and out in under 1/2 hour. Car drives great. No problems in scheduling either time, and when I got there he was ready for me. He's pretty low key and obviously quite competent. Needed an alignment on my 96 Saab 900. It had been pulling right for years, previous alignments did nothing. I'd been working on the shocks as well so everything was pretty out of whack. On the recommendation of an experienced DIY mechanic friend, I got a next-day 9am appointment with Chris at Alignment Services. Showed up at 8:55 and told him I had a 9am appointment. As others have noted, he is rather short--he responded simply with "I'm going to need your keys." Thirty minutes later he finished and let me know that the car, which had previously pulled right, was now pulling left due to crappy and unevenly worn front tires. He suggested a rotation. I went home, swapped tires around, and at last my car drives straight for the first time since I bought it!! Let me add as well that he performed my front end alignment for $30 less than the last place I took it (even though I also bought tires at that last place), took less time, and got it right. He said he's been doing this for twenty years. It shows. Treat this man with respect, don't be put off by his somewhat surly attitude, and get a perfect alignment fast for the best rate in town. read more

I came here after a recommendation from America's Tire as my tires needed an alignment and I have never been treated worse for a paid service. Chris told me that I should have been the one telling him what the issues are and went into a bunch of details about how America's tire put on my tires wrong. He continued to make me feel like I was dumb that I could not articulate exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and the tires. Not sure if he was doing this because I was a female and thought he could get away with it or was just having a bad day. Either way, I would NOT recommend taking your car here. Absolutely unacceptable to treat people this way. I had a bad feeling when I came to drop off my car and tried to talk to someone and they just said "keys" and walked away. Put new tires on my sisters car and wanted to do an alignment, took it into alignment services today on my lunch break. 10 minutes later the car came back out and the tech said, the cars alignment is fine and there is no charge. I have never left a shop without paying so was pretty impressed with there honesty. Would recommend them! There rate is reasonable $65 for a 2 wheel alignment and $90 for all 4 wheels. After getting my Lexus aligned by Chris, I took a neighbor's old truck in that I borrow ever so often when I go to the nursery. It is really a beat up looking truck but has a strong engine and generally drives well. Unfortunately, it was really steering right- so the owner and I thought it needed an alignment. Chris took one look and told me it needed a new tire, apparently there was a "bubble" due to tread separation and it didn't need an alignment. He could have easily done the alignment and charged me- I wouldn't have known the better and then also told me I also had a tire problem. But he didn't, he is an honest guy, succinct in conversations but deeply principled to do the right thing for his customers. The new tire did the trick, the old truck drives great now. SUMMARY: Great timely service at a great price. STORY: I brought my car here years ago, and I was very happy with the service and end result. I did not have any issues with anything for years afterwards. A few years ago, I accidentally hit a curb while making a U-turn in a parking lot. No excuse, but it was dark, raining, and I didn't see the curb jutting out. In any case, out of "convenience", I took it to another shop for an alignment, and it seemed to be OK. A few weeks ago, I had to purchase new tires because of the uneven wear from poor alignment. I finally brought my car back to Alignment Services for a proper alignment, I was able to obtain an appointment that fit my schedule. The mechanic got to it right on time, and was done within 30 minutes while I waited. That included a test drive and printout that listed detailed specs and services preformed. In all, it was quicker, easier, cheaper, and better than I had even hoped for. CONCLUSION: I'll watch out for curbs that jut out between parking spaces for no apparent reason I won't wait so long before having my alignment checked I'll never get my wheels aligned anywhere else. read more

My car was in a relatively minor accident that involved a wheel being hit. I was concerned the alignment was off as a result. I asked a tire store if they did 4-wheel alignment. They did not and recommended I go to Alignment Services. I made an appointment for the next day and was served at the set time (no waiting). After a 15-minute inspection, the technician said nothing was wrong with the alignment and there would be no charge. I insisted on paying something for his time but he would not accept my money. The technician (owner?) does not have a great "bed side manner." That is, he is straight to the point and business-like without a lot of pleasant banter, etc. But that is OK with me as I was seeking an alignment specialist, not a therapist. Alignment Services is an ethical, well-run shop and I highly recommend them. read more

Chris knows what he's doing, and does it well. After having my 67 Oldsmobile aligned twice elsewhere, I was still having bad inner wear on the front tires (although it tracked straight). I took it to Alignment Services (and replaced the front tires, again), Chris found the problem and fixed. Now, a year later, I just rotated the tires and the wear is perfectly even.
