Chris is the best. Just don't expect to have a conversation with the guy. Let him do what he does best.

Chris / this place was recommended to me by 2 separate auto shops, so that certainly means something and it proved to be a good recommendation.

I didn't have an appointment but they said I could bring it in anyway. They were slammed. Everyone had a tire problem today at the same time. So it took them maybe 10 minutes to check me in. The team there was incredibly professional, and I was particularly impressed with their knowledge on other companies products and services as I listened to them on the phone. They checked me in, gave me an update on where my tread was and when I should look at replacing my tires, and told me they would text me when the car was ready. All of that happened exactly as they said it would. When I arrived, I wanted to pay for the repair only to find they had done it for free. Wow. Here is what disappointed me... the majority of the customers in that waiting room today were so rude to the staff. They exhibited impatience, lack of appreciation for how busy they were, lack of thankfulness that this crew was able to help them out in spite of being so busy, and lack of appreciation for the knowledge and professionalism of this team. This team deserved more respect than what I saw exhibited today. Shane helped me today and couldn't have been more professional, friendly, or helpful. I didn't buy my tires here, but I will need them in the Fall and I will come here without a question.

This place is the worst. You make an appointment, you show up for your appointment, and you find…read morethat you can't even pull into the parking lot because there are so many cars there's not a single spot available. So, you look for a spot on the street outside and good luck finding one there. If you do find a spot on the street outside, you better pay for the parking because the city of WC loves to ticket asap. Then, if you do find parking and you get into the store for your appointment, you may find that there are dozens of people already in the store. And you may find that it takes them 10-20 minutes to even greet you. Of course they will apologize and they have excuses for it... it's practically an episode of Seinfeld "you know how to take the appointment, you don't know how to hold the appointment" It's almost as bad in concord and even worse in San Ramon. Idk I'm over americas tire I need to find a less impacted shop

Best part is I can actually walk to and from where I live and get some exercise while I'm at it. UPDATE: I have now had all 3 of my cars including a 2012 Toyota Highlander and a 2020 Toyota Prius serviced as well and feel very comfortable returning to them in the future instead of hunting for a new mechanic or taking them to... the dealership where I would doubtless be taken for a very expensive ride! I recently had a frustrating experience that I think others should be aware of…read more I went in to fix a flat tire, expecting a simple and affordable repair since I had just bought the car and the tires are practically new. Instead, I was told that not one--but two--tires needed replacing because they were "almost bald," which made no sense given their condition. On top of that, I was advised to get an alignment I know I don't need, and was told my brakes needed replacing--even though I had them inspected right after buying the car and was assured they were new. What should have been a straightforward $120 fix suddenly turned into a quote of over $1,000. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation, assuming I wouldn't question their recommendations. If I had trusted them without thinking twice, I would've paid for unnecessary work. Be careful out there--always double-check and don't hesitate to get a second opinion. Not everyone has your best interest in mind, and some places seem more focused on commission than honest service.  -5 stars

I watched my car sit in front of the shop until 1:15 pm until I went up and I asked the worker if my car would be serviced by the time they gave me at check in. My last visit the other day will be my last. I had my brakes done there about a month ago. As we went over the details, he was curt, appeared annoyed and kept telling me that if I didn't comply with add on's that it will void any warranty they offered. That's fine. I understand that. $700 later I was on my way. The other day I noticed one of my tires was low. I stopped by there and stood in the lobby for a good 7 minutes per the usual, with a "we'll be right there" while they continued to answer the phones and help those customers. I understand the phone is ringing however they make a hold button for these exact moments. Finally the same young man that helped me with my brakes came out. He proceeded to bad mouth his previous customer on the phone to his coworker which is not okay. He walked out to my truck and proceeded to tell me that my tires were "trashed" and that they need replacing. I said "okay I'll get an estimate after." He then offered for ME to use their air. Okay, sure sir, I've given this company thousands of dollars but I'll pull in and fill my own tires. a tech in the bay saw me and offered to help. I then asked him if he thought the tires looked bad ( in my opinion they looked worn however there was still tread) he said "no they looked oaky." Now, I will also add that I myself changed motorcycle tires for 10 years and have experience with tread depth and certainly customer service. I would never allow a customer to use my tools out of liability alone. This message is for you Lee. You appear to be actively reading this reviews and yet it's the same complaints. Customers waiting for extended periods of time without acknowledgment at the counter, unfriendly customer service and long wait times. If you want people to come back, you need to make the necessary changes. You have lost my business. The young man that I'm referring to has dark brown hair and a facial piercing. Will is a fixture at this location. While he hasn't been what I consider friendly, he tries more than the rest. This is not a one off experience. This was just the last straw. Do better.

I'm updating my previous 5-star review based on my most recent experience…read more I purchased four new tires for my truck, and what should have been a simple installation turned into eight trips back to the Concord store. During the original installation, two of my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors were damaged. On my second visit, they replaced the sensors, but they still didn't report tire pressure. On my third visit, I was told everything was working and that I just needed to drive the truck until the sensors synchronized with the vehicle. After driving all weekend with no change, I returned for a fourth visit, where the sensors were reset, but I was told there was nothing more they could do. On my fifth visit, I explained that I was ready to take my truck to Toyota to have the issue fixed and wanted to know if they would cover the cost. Instead, they asked me to give them one more chance. I came back the next day for my sixth visit, and after calling their technical support line, the technician finally discovered the real problem--they had installed the wrong TPMS sensors. Because they were too busy to fix it that day, I had to return yet again. On my seventh visit, after waiting over an hour before my truck was even taken into the shop, the correct sensors were finally installed and everything worked as it should have from the beginning. When I got home, I realized one of my hubcaps was missing. Fortunately, they had it, but that meant an eighth trip back to the store. The biggest disappointment wasn't that mistakes were made--mistakes happen. It was that no one in management took ownership of the problem. By the third visit, the store manager should have stepped in to ensure the issue was resolved instead of having me make repeated trips. To make matters worse, I overheard the manager referring to me as "the guy who keeps complaining about his tire sensors." After eight trips to correct problems that began during their installation, I don't think my frustration was unreasonable. The one employee who deserves recognition is Rene. He took the time to investigate the issue instead of making another guess, and he ultimately discovered that the wrong sensors had been installed. Thank you, Rene, for doing what should have been done much earlier. Unfortunately, this experience erased the confidence I had from my previous visit. I can no longer recommend the Concord store and will be taking my business elsewhere. I am giving 2 stars because of Rene without his help this was a zero start experience.
