I also need to mention that I am extremely nitpicky and highly detailed, but Dror never once got annoyed with my texts or calls. He was incredibly respectful of our budget and offered very fair, transparent pricing. I feel incredibly blessed to have found him--he started as our contractor and has truly become a friend. Extremely unprofessional experience with **DGOS Design & Build Construction**. I would not…read morerecommend them. I explained from the beginning that I wanted a very straightforward kitchen remodel: remove the existing cabinets and countertops and replace them with new ones, **keeping the exact same layout**. I was not moving the sink, stove, refrigerator, walls, or electrical locations. My budget was around **$40,000**, so price was not the issue. What bothered me was being quoted roughly **$3,000 for plumbing and electrical work** that I did not understand or request. When I asked why this was necessary, I was told about electrical work, circuits, drywall, etc. I repeatedly explained that I wasn't asking for those changes and simply wanted to understand what I was paying for. Instead of clearly explaining and justifying the charge, the contractor became defensive and told me that customers need to trust them and shouldn't question their work. He then said we were "not a good fit" and mentioned that their minimum kitchen project is around $25,000. I was completely willing to spend $35,000-$40,000 on my kitchen. I would happily pay thousands more for better cabinets, better countertops, or better workmanship. What I will NOT do is write a blank check for work I don't understand simply because a contractor tells me to trust them. **Trust is earned through transparency.** If I'm spending tens of thousands of dollars, I have every right to ask what I'm paying for and why it's necessary. At that point, I asked him to leave my home. Based on my experience, if you expect a contractor to clearly explain the scope of work and justify significant charges when you ask questions, I would look elsewhere.

This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!
