The food was more about fanfare then taste. The burger came out 8 inches tall and was mostly lettuce and bun. The Cubano came out in a tortilla instead of a roll. The onion rings tasted like old grease but the skin on french Fies were good. The burger had a nice pink center but was dry and barely warm. At least the staff was nice and friendly. I am a little confused about them calling this place a brew pub when they don't brew any beer here and the food is a low grade Applebee's. read more

Get a burger. They are amazing. Do not, I repeat do not order the steak. Waitress was exceptional.

I must admit, I get a hankering for some green chile cerveza every once in a while, and this place knows how to do it up. Best green chile beer I've ever had. Perfectly balanced. read more

Went for a lunch meeting because The Cheesecake Factory had a line wrapped around the building. I'm so happy we did! Best fish tacos I've ever had. Everything was so good. Would have given it 5 stars but after I paid, I asked the waitress for a copy of my receipt and I saw her pull it out of the trash and bring it to me. read more

We had a few issues with a red headed waitress, she never had a smile on her face and made false statements about the food. However, Zach and Cory took care of us. Zach and Cory were super friendly, and were able to have us change our mind on the negative red headed waitress, to enjoying their time helping us with our issue. Thank you two for making a bad time into a good time. Btw. You guys have to try out the awesome home brewed beer they make. read more

The beer was pretty good but the service was awful. The waitress was never around and it wasn't busy. She smelled of smoke and was very pushy. The wait staff was kind of rude. Ordered the 4 beer flight and it was pretty good. The nut brown and lager are very good. I'd rather buy the beer at the store. read more

Maybe I was expecting more out of this place, not sure, but it didn't quite live up to it. The food was "good".... The portions were pretty nice but the taste was, not totally bland, but could use improvement. The drinks were not very potent and seemed watered down somewhat. I was quite disappointed in that, being that it was a pub. The atmosphere was wonderful and all the wood and pictures on the wall made it feel like a favorite watering hole...until I tasted the drinks. The service wasn't that good either and once we got our food the waitress didn't visit us very often to check on us. read more

Their signature burger is good. Some of their beer is good. The ambiance is very nice. Stay away from their ribs - truly awful - delivered cold. After reheat it was flavorless. This is a good place to gather, drink a beer, have a burger. Don't bother with anything else. read more

Really nice place, American pub, if u go get the 20oz Chile Verde Cerveza-chile beer (on tap) and hamburger sliders,

Nachos are the best here. Mix drinks are terrible. I've never had any problems with service or food. They cannot go wrong with the beers hehe. It seems like most male bartenders always have their girlfriends or wives hanging out at the bar, and they sit there getting samples and facebooking or tweeting lol. read more

Came here with a group of co-workers one night to support a friend's band. The staff are friendly and attentive. The place is clean and divey, for a brewery/restaurant, and like the name suggests, it's alien themed. The two beers I tried (Alien Ale and their stout) was good but tasted a bit like rubbing alcohol. Overall I'd go back for more. read more

Great bar and grill. I really enjoyed their jalapeño poppers. It's a little dark, more of a night time vibe. Or a great summer escape from the 95 degree hell outside. Our server wasn't super outgoing but took care of us sufficiently. The beer was served up cold, so that is always a plus! Probably a great place to go watch a sorting event and hang out with friends. read more

Loud, crowded, watery cocktails

AWFUL. We didn't even get a chance to enjoy a meal here. Some co-workers and I were in town on business and walked over to the Alien Brewpub at 6:30 on a Thursday night for dinner. As soon as we walk in, we see the small space is packed with a crowd towards the back. Some sort of after-work event? We were seated immediately....at a table that had a large puddle of beer that had spilled on the floor beneath it. We asked the passing hostess if we could get someone to clean up the wet, sticky mess. She didn't verbally response, but instead nodded once with a roll of her eyes and continued on. The mess never got cleaned up. It took over 10 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. We ordered some beers, not yet ordered food. While we waited, people sat at the empty table behind us. A few moments later, they also ordered drinks. No one came back to take our food order. It has now been over 25 minutes since we sat down, and 15 minutes since we saw our waitress. No drinks. Meanwhile, the table that ordered behind us had gotten their beers already. This place is obviously not prepared to host a large group and walk-in customers at the same time. We got up to leave, but not without stopping by the hostess first to explain why we were leaving. She said "Well, we had 50 people walk right in (referring to the large gathering) and basically said 'serve us'. So I don't know what to tell you." Okay, so they were overwhelmed and understaffed when a group of 50 people walked in and demanded to be served. That's when you say "Sorry, but we don't accommodate large groups without a reservation or prior arrangements." Simple as that. read more

After a long flight from the east, they accommodated us at closing time. Great microbrews and awesome salsa.

Service sucked. The house salad is good. The jalapeno poppers were gross. The mix drinks were not very good.

My meal was Ok, however our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and could not make any suggestions and did not appear interested in talking up any pub favorites. Drinks came out a little slow however it was during a March Madness game. There are lots of big TVs with lots of sport action. read more

The Ahi salad isn't big enough for guys..sweet potato fries are good! Cubano sandwich is good. Seat cushions are old and worn out. Services are good. read more

This is my first time here but I will be back! Excellent local beer, great burger and fries! Friendly and quick service. Plus I love the alien decor! read more

Wonderful service and good food. If you go definitely get the bacon wrapped dates, I wish I had some now!

Cool place..good beer..like the vibe..will have to try the food next time..prices are reasonable...

Good food, better than most pubs. Pretty good selection of beers. The fish & chips, while not traditional, impressed this former New Englander. Good bartenders too. They can mix a good drink, not just pour shots and beers. read more

It was just okay. Ate at around 1:20pm. My Green chili cheese burger nothing to jump up and down about. Guess I should have ordered my burger medium rare instead of medium because it was pretty darn dry and more like very well done. Everything else was fresh. Nice atmosphere. read more

The beer is ok, drinks are comparable, but the service here is less than abysmal. Also, when they have live music it's way too loud for a small establishment. read more

I'd say you should go for the beer (I had the Alien Wheat which was very good) and the sports. Don't go for the food or prompt service. No kids menu (but I really didn't expect that there would be) and not really kid-friendly. The staff were kind enough but really in a hurry and hard to flag down. I'd go back but just for a beer at the bar. read more

Great food and really good beer. Poncho verde green chile beer was different but tasted amazing. Great desserts and portion sizes!

We came in for food and drinks on a Sunday at 5pm and there were no staff or servers present. We seated ourselves and waited for 5 min, still no one appeared. Finally a server walked out with someone's food, but informed us and disappeared. We walked out after that. Terrible service! read more

Awesome atmosphere.. great beer!! \m/ great service, definitely be back for more food and beers

Food was pretty good. Best calamari EVER! Service was OK, could have been better. Good atmosphere.

The food was the bomb.com. We had the burger, nacho fries, artichoke dip, and the mac n cheese and it was all on point. Definitely gotta peep dis spot again. read more

Great place to watch a game. Plenty of Dart boards and pool tables. The food was typical pub grub however the severs were extremely nice and friendly read more

Great food, and the atmosphere was fantastic. However the bartender was completely absent. She talked to me twice, I wanted to know more about the beers but she blew me off. Pretty girl, just don't come here in a Monday if you're looking to talk about beer. read more

Food was not good. Salad looked as if it was from a bag that should have been used last week. Chicken sandwich was edible, but the avocados were in the same condition as the salad. At least it didn't cost much. read more

I checked the reviews before heading in for lunch and thought this place looked good. I was working so I could not have any beer. The food was lousy. I gave up eating the California Chicken Sandwich after a few bites and the side salad (while huge) was made up of old lettuce starting to brown. The mozzarella squares were good. read more

This place is amazing! The waitress we had the first time around (I wish I remembered her name) but she was so kind and very knowledgeable about their beers, did not give any sort of hesitations when asked about what's recommended. She told us we should try their cerveza, and it was truly one of the best beers I've had! Their food was pretty good too! :) we had a burger read more

I used to love going to this place but the service has been getting horrible. The last time I went it took about 20 mins just to get water. This has been getting worse each time. I think they have the best burger in town with the Southwest burger( I think its called that, the one with the green chile). Its sad to say that I will probably stay away from this play for a while after going there almost weekly. If going during happy hour call in your order because you will be waiting forever and the wait staff always seems shorthanded. Good food crappy service. I've liked everything I've had there except for the chicken pasta. Can't remember what it was called but it had white sauce, the chicken was probably the worst part of the plate. Tasteless and dry. Love the onion rings. Great wings. A little pricey for the amount you get. read more

I moved to Albuquerque coming from Colorado where brew pubs are very good. I really enjoyed my experience here and found the wings to be very, very good along with my meal. The beer was also quite remarkable. I live about 2 miles away. Nice for me as I will certainly be back and bring along many friends. All in all a great experience! read more

Good is good. The staff can be full of themselves most the time. The beer kinda sucks when you have Marble and La Cumbre around.

Really good food, the jalapeño poppers stuffed with chorizo was amazing!! Wish there was more of a beer selection and the live music was a bit loud for a dinner hour, but overall a good experience. read more

Truly enjoy visiting this place! Always friendly service, and great food and drink. One of the few places to serve Basil Hayden's Bourbon. Terrific jalapeño poppers and an even better award winning southwestern burger. You can't go wrong with this place. read more
