When using the website to request an appointment the staff here are very timely and will get back to you very fast. It has been overall an ease to request appointments and get everything in order. There is a good variety of frames in many price ranges and the staff is so nice And patient as you try all the frames on. Now that I've finally gotten my contacts I feel like it's okay to post but to be honest at first I had a great experience for my eye exam and the initial process but later on came to find out I should have just stuck to my original optometrist communication and the professionalism isn't there after discussing my options for contacts I later came to find out that the brand I had chosen was 100 dollars more than what we originally discussed to be quite honest if I had been told that from the jump I wouldn't have gone with the option I did I then asked for a refund because 100 dollars more is crazy! When I called and asked for a refund I was told okay on the phone I can get one but to come in I went in before work and they told me no I couldn't get a refund then told me once it's been processed I can only get store credit which I find funny because how is the payment processed but you haven't even ordered the contacts? I also added the picture of the sign which is tiny lol and on the desk Needless to say the dr said it was a miscommunication but it's really the way they went about everything that really upset me I would never recommend this place and I've never ever left a bad review on anything but this one I just had to share PLEASE be careful and wary of this place hopefully if you do go there you're better treated than I was read more

I had my glasses done here 1 year ago and the prescription was great so I decided to come back. I called ahead and explained my intentions of the visit and then I asked how much would it be, the optometrist gave me a price based on the knowledge that I was paying out of pocket due to my insurance coverage. (FYI: front desk help wouldn't tell me how much themself, they had to get the optometrist to tell me, they did this to me the first time I came here too which I thought was weird) I came into the office with the same insurance I had last year(which they had access to on file) and they said they could not find my insurance information this time. This is not how to run a business. This is definitely due to poor management of the process. This is something that should be clarified prior to the visit, especially since I am a returning patient. It's unprofessional and messy. I felt very upset that I wasted my time to be told we cannot find your insurance (medi-cal) in the database at this time if you want to proceed we will now be charging you 160$ instead of 85$. Like, no thank you I'll try somewhere else that's straight forward and doesn't waste my time. Also they need to invest in better frames for selection. You want to make money try that instead of trying to trick patients into paying for a higher exam once you get them into the office. I will not be coming here again no matter how well my first exam for glasses went. Patients want easy and clear information on cost. This process of insurance coverage and cost should be done prior to patient appointment if the patient is requesting this information ahead of time to ensure nobody gets their time wasted. Dr. Lee was very detailed in her examination and I also found her to be courteous and friendly. Her office staff was helpful and pleasant in getting us appointment, welcoming to the office and checking us out. It's been awhile since my last eye exam and I was in need of new contact lenses. Came to get my mom's eyes checked and the staff was absolutely amazing. Dr. Lee was kind and understanding when we had to change her glasses from bifocal to 2 separate glasses for near and far. Staff was attentive and so patient with my mother when trying out the different frames that would be most comfortable. They went out of their way in finding the frames she liked. Came here because it's what my insurance covered supposedly. The receptionists are nice and patient, properly sanitizing and cleaning everything constantly. The doctor is gentle and kind too. The overall experience however feels lackluster. The frames that are offered for free coverage are extremely unappealing, the kind you get when you're in grade school and dreading glasses. Of course I opted to pay for some nicer frames. At $170 for the frames alone, you'd hope they last at least a year. Nope, about 6 months in and a screw comes flying out. I treat my glasses with care, don't sleep in them, nothing. I finally made another appointment to see if they can fix them. Nope. They put in a "temporary" screw. Why would they just give me a temporary fix? I paid for these and am SO disappointed. That temporary fix is already done, the screw they replaced wasn't even the same size, so yes, it came flying out too. This was my mistake for trying to save $100, I should've bought Warby Parker glasses, those last me longer than 2 years and definitely don't come apart this easily. Tldr; staff is nice, products not so much, overall service = meh, if they can't offer to actually fix or replace my glasses, genuinely don't think it's worth coming here again. If you want someone to actually fix your glasses, go with a big brand. read more

Dr. Lee was very nice and professional when I visited her office for the first time. Her staff was "meh." They would call my cell phone and say, "Mr. Brown, we still have those Gucci glasses you wanted." I never reserved any Gucci glasses! Their excuse was that they have a patient with the same name as me. They mistakenly called me several times, regarding glasses I never wanted. Also, they never send any reminders out, like, "It's time for your yearly eye exam!", or "You're eligible for new glasses this year!" Pretty mediocre experience. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lee and her staff; particularly Maritza. The office is clean and quiet, they are appt. only so there isn't a room full of people waiting and you feel rushed, Dr. Lee is very thorough and kind. Maritza spent FOREVER with me helping me pick a frame that I would be happy with- even Dr. Lee helped as well. They have a very large selection of brand name frames, and also more affordable ones too. I want to say first off that I have never been to a more accommodating office than hers in terms of a doctor's office and I will return. Now I go to school in Arizona and don't come back unless it's the holidays. Let's get that out of the way because that's going to be important later on. First off, her assistant, I forgot her name, was very helpful in working the paperwork out with me because it was my first time there. Kudos to her! Then, she went out of her way to make sure I was accommodated and we started making conversation and I let her know about where I go to school and stuff and how I was going back to school in a couple of days. She promptly informed me that if I needed new glasses, it would take a couple of weeks because of the processing and shipping. So I thought I was in a pickle. But I went through the entire exam and got glasses from her. I told her my situation and she told me it's fine and that she would just ship the glasses to my address. Got it in less than 2 weeks in fact and I would've struggled with my classes if it weren't for her gesture! I mean, what kind of doctor does that? A really good one. Con: located in a place with not a lot of parking. TL:DR- Dr. Lee's office saved me from a lot of headaches (literally). Because she went out of her way to ship my glasses to me in a different state and she paid for the shipping cost. read more

I turn around because I need to purchase glasses. I recently got a prescription but I didn't get it filled because they did not have any frames to my liking. Alice Lee's office had a selection of frames different than the other office. I thought it strange they ran an authorization just for me to look which was 1 red flag. As the young lady was showing me different types of frames Alice Lee the rude doctor herself comes out to show me a few frames, she insists she knows what looks good. I took a picture of myself with the frames but I also wanted to take a picture of the number on the frame in order to compare the frames to make an informed decision. I was in a rush, headed elsewhere initially. Alice Lee rudely grabs all glasses tells me that now you don't need to look any more like very very very very rude and Condescending for no reason what so ever. She basically put me out of her business for looking. Doctor Lee is rude as Hell. now I can't think of any reason any professional especially any provider would treat a patient in this manner. First of all this office is completely EMPTY! That should have been a sign for me not to walk in the first place and make and appointment. But guess what, I gave it a chance. So I go in today to get my eye exam. The doctor comes in sweet lady nothing wrong. Went on did the exam told me my prescription had changed by a bit not much. Cool, she asks me if I wear contacts and I said barely that I'm more comfortable with glasses. I asked if she had a trial pair of contacts so I can give it a shot and see if I might be interested and see how my prescription changed. She's like oh yeah I have a pair and went and got it for me. She's like put it on and so I did. She made me read some letters and asked how they felt something really simple. As we were finished she's like here's another pair of contacts, I was like cool this lady is nice. Sike! As soon as she took me to the front she told her assistant charge her $65 for her fitting. I was like what!! What do you mean?! "She's like I had you put contacts on and gave you a pair. These are my contacts I'm giving to you. You're wearing my contacts right now, I have to charge you". I was like ok I'll go take them off right now and so I did. I had never been charged for a trail pair! I was like sorry you never told me this was a fitting and that you were charging me to try on a trial pair. She never mentioned it was a fitting! If I would of known I would had never even bothered asking her. Stay away from his place. Horrible customer service definitely not coming back. Hope she enjoys the money from what my provider is giving her. As a person who owns a business, I want to have my clients be content and want them to refer others not to leave my place with a bad experience. read more
