The sub contractor New Key used put in a faulty system and over the course of 2 years and 6 + visits could not fix it. (FYI be wary of new key's subcontractors in general, looong list of problems on that 175k job). I called new key and said I'm tired of dealing with these guys who can't figure it out, I need someone else. They sent Chris. Chris did not give up until he found the issue! After several tries on his own he called the manufacturer. They suggested he check the electrical flow and sure enough there was a faulty part somewhere in there. I'm sitting here in my warm house finally! Highly recommend Chris. And he's a super nice guy.

He installed a new heat pump, thermostat, and outside unit, and while I'm no HVAC expert, I didn't need to be -- multiple tradespeople who came through the house, including our permit inspector, insulation installer, and duct pressure tester, all commented that it was done well. That kind of unsolicited praise from other professionals means a lot. When we later noticed some issues with our vents, Ian was responsive, came out quickly, fixed everything thoroughly, and waived the service visit fee while genuinely apologizing that the issues existed at all. That's the kind of honesty and accountability that's hard to find. Would absolutely hire him again.
