Half meat lovers and half crispy chicken pizza
    Sho R.

I took out a small pizza - half meat lovers and half crispy chicken. Pizza was good. I liked the crispy chicken a lot more than the meat lovers. Pizza was sweating in the bottom for some reason. Next day when I microwaved, it again sweat in the bottom.

Best pizza around! The crust is yummy and toppings are always full never skimpy! Big portions and prices aren't bad

Excellent chicken parm grinder! Fresh roll, tasty homemade sauce, good amount of cheese. Will be back!

Small cheese pizza 1/2 with sausage and onion.

Solid Greek style pizza, crispy bottom, light flakey interior, slightly sweet pizza sauce with a traditional mixed mozzerarella cheddar cheese topping and sausage. Ann, my waitress, was gracious, efficient and very helpful regarding the entire menu. This family run resto is part of the very fabric of the cummunity as evidence by greeting each customer by their first name when picking up their takeout orders. Alexia is comfortable, moderately priced and hits the favorite high spots of Italian cuisine.

The coffee was very good with the balance of both flavors. The establishment was very clean, service was great and staff for a friendly.

"I walked in, the baker said everything was sold I found out…read moreshe saved me some sweet jelly roll Yes, the baker shop boogie" (Willie Nix) Since we're friends, let me ask you a personal question--so tell me this: what's your official dessert policy? Are you a "dessert is a human right" kind of person who enjoys something sweet every night after dinner? Do you ceremoniously pair your evening coffee with a treat like it's a sacred ritual? Or are you more of a free range snacker who grazes on cookies and pastries whenever the mood strikes? At our place, we've somehow drifted into the habit of having a bakery item most nights. Could be a cookie. Could be a pastry. Could be a slice of something. All this brings me to yesterday's visit to the Hartford Baking Company in South Windsor, where we are now pretty well stocked for a week's worth of upcoming desserts, and maybe a breakfast or two. They have four locations in the Greater Hartford area, all selling the same amazing product line of bread, ciabatta, and rolls. But for the sweet tooth fiends out there, well get psyched for their scones, muffins, Walnut Coffee Cake, Financiers (a French almond cookie), brownies and bars, cookies, biscotti, shortbreads, Danish, Cinnamon buns, Pecan-Walnut Sticky Buns, Brioche Pastries, fruit tarts, and quiches. We were running errands in South Windsor yesterday, popped into Hartford Baking, and walked out with a bounty of wonderful looking goodies- brownies, a croissant, a chocolate banana muffin, a rectangular Financier, and a slice of coffee cake. We should be set for a while in the dessert department. I had the Financier last night, and never having heard of the word before, I consulted the old Google machine for some research and found a very cool origin-story. In the late 1800's there was a pastry shop located near the Paris Stock Exchange. The shop sold very popular small almond cakes that were baked in small rectangular molds resembling gold bars. They were a hit with the busy bankers who frequented his shop. The name "financier" stuck because of both the clientele and the gold bar shape. I have to tell ya, that Financier was amazing. It was dense and delicious and overflowing with almond flavor. I loved it. I also had a teense of the Banana Muffin this morning, and it was excellent as well. Loved that banana flavor and those chocolate chips. OK, so file away "Hartford Bakery" on your short list of "must visit" dessert destinations, because I assure you that you'll walk out a satisfied customer.

"It's the time of the season When love runs high…read moreIt's the time of the season for loving" (The Zombies) The Three Season's Cafe is located within the Topstone Golf Course. They have a clubhouse dining room with a bar and a full "Pub Style" menu of chili, soup, salads, a slew of comfort food appetizers (tots, pretzels, wings, nachos), burgers, dogs, sandwiches, wraps, and seafood. They have a banquet room downstairs for golf tournaments or private parties. You'll see their big building from the golf course's main parking lot. You walk to the main entry staircase facing the lot, but don't enter through that door facing you. Instead, walk around the porch to the left, turn the corner, and you'll see the restaurant entrance straight ahead. We've enjoyed a lot of take-out from Three Season's - salmon teriyaki, chicken parmigiana, chicken Milanese, penne in vodka sauce, penne marinara, garlic cheese tortellini, and a hamburger and hot dog. The salmon was outstanding, and so were the chicken dishes. And I really liked their marinara sauce with the parmigiana and the penne. Our interactions with the staff have been great, and we always enjoy the food there.

Our wait person was wonderful and very attentive at the beginning. I ordered a corned beef (Reuben) sandwich and fries, both delicious. My husband had the McWrap, a burger with all the fixings inside a soft flour tortilla wrap, plus tater tots. He said that the sandwich was great, the tater tots were just the slightest bit overcooked, but they still tasted good. We had finished our meals and drinks, but we had to wait for what seemed forever to get our bill to pay. My husband had to go inside the cafe to find our wait person. She said she'd be right out with our bill, but we kept waiting (yet again) more than 10 more minutes. The restaurant and bar (inside) was not very busy, nor was it busy on the patio. Our server appeared to also be the bartender. Perhaps, she was also the chef? Maybe those were the reasons for the delay in getting our bill? Seriously, I realize things happen. We liked the food a lot, so we'll be back!

I think it is relatively new (change from another restaurant in the same location)? Plenty of parking, both in front & in the back of the building.
