There aren't enough words to describe how fantastic JERAN, DAVID and VICTOR are! They went the extra mile, really listened to us with our needs and put in the extra time and effort to get our daughter her dream car. They treated us like friends and truly cared about how they could make this work for our family. I can't thank them enough! In dealing with dozens of car dealerships and sales teams in this hunt for a car I now know what honesty and determination can get you because these two men showed me. We will be back to work with them for our future car needs because they showed how awesome this experience can be! Thank you Jeran and David!! Victor too! I can't thank you enough! And special shout out to Trunks for being the coolest sales dog! read more

Elijah Rodriguez and Joubin Ilbeig were phenomenal to work with. From one sales guy to another, cheers, you did a fantastic job and did not put pressure on me in the wrong ways. You deserve recognition. Keep it up Elijah and thanks for getting me in to the truck I wanted. Michael skobin, the finance manager was a pleasure to deal with too. Grade A service all around. I've been a customer here before and will continue to be. Thank you to the Alexander's. Your Simi location is running smooth and you should be proud. read more

I'm not someone who exactly loves the process of vehicle purchase, but I recommend putting yourself in the capable hands of Alexander GMC. Yesterday my wife and I, after some less than adequate experiences at other places, decided to drive further away than normal and head out to Simi Valley, based on positive reviews, and website information suggesting they had stock available we were interested in. We were first greeted by I think Marck Garcia (I'm looking at their "meet our team" page) who was friendly and helpful. Instead of ignoring my wife, who was the one shopping, we were both treated as welcome guests equally, which is a nice change after other experiences we had where she was ignored. She's the "car guy" in our relationship, I'm not really. Marck turned us over to Abbas, who was a newer addition to the Alexander team. Abbas knew more about our questions than anyone in the prior dealerships we had been to. But even better, when he didn't know the answer to something, he FOUND OUT rapidly and then related us the data. He was factual and helpful and friendly and accomodating. He also assisted as the process went on, helping expedite things competently and rapidly. We were given to Dennis Marazitto, probably because they could detect the faint scent of lasagna on us being a half Italian family, so we were quite at ease. Joking, I don't know why they gave us Dennis. Dennis worked with us and there was some back and forth, but it was way more rapid and less irritating than any other time I've been at a dealership. And with a wife being the "car guy" and the fact that she changes cars every three years, believe me when I say I have had my fill of this part of the process. Dennis had a manner that destressed the process. He felt more like an advocate than a sales person, and I appreciate that and his boss should appreciate that too, because that = sales, speaking as a salesman and a manager of sales people at my own company. We came to an agreement. We were assisted by the finance guys along the way, but the only one we met was Mike Skobin. Mike made the end of the process easy and comfortable. He is a cool guy, relaxed manner. You get the idea "this is going to happen according to plan" with him. And it did, no surprises, no disappointments. Ours was a complicated process due to our own weird situation of moving money around, needing a loaner car, doing a trade in, but they made every step easy!! I used two exclamation marks there on purpose. This is not what normally happens at a dealership. Today we are receiving delivery of a giant gleaming ice blue Hummer EV, and everyone on my street is going to say "there goes the neighborhood." Damned straight! Naw joking. It's an HOA, I'm surrounded by nosy people, I'll behave. I really have only ever said this once in my life: I would recommend others go to this dealership. They make a complicated and involved process about as easy and confrontable as it can be made, and I appreciated getting done and home in time to spend time with visiting family from out of state. read more

Sorry for the rant, but this needs to be said. Arthur in the service department just cost this dealership a lot of money. It all started with the sale of my new Hummer EV. The truck wasn't ready until late at night when they were about to close--not a big deal. The sales guy I worked with was amazing--thorough, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood everything I needed before I left. However, as I was driving home, just as I entered the freeway, the emergency service light came on. Annoying, but I figured it was probably just a software update that should have been handled before delivery. The next day, I also noticed an issue with the heater--blowing hot on one side and cold on the other. So, I called the dealership and scheduled a service appointment, bringing the car in on Friday, hoping it would be done by the weekend. Then came Arthur. I never received a single call from the service department. I had to chase them down, repeatedly calling on Monday and again on Wednesday. Arthur, to put it mildly, was clueless. He constantly made excuses and had no real idea what was going on with the tech team. When I finally spoke with him on Wednesday, he promised to call me in the morning--or at the latest, before lunch. No call. By 2 PM, I called again, and Arthur finally answered--laughing about how funny it was that I happened to call because he was "just doing my paperwork." Then he told me my car needed parts for the air conditioner to function properly. After a long pause, he suddenly changed his story--no, actually, everything was working fine, and I could come pick it up. So, I drive 30 minutes to Alexander GMC, only to have Arthur now tell me that my car was NOT fixed. Apparently, it worked earlier, but now, magically, it wasn't working again. To make matters worse: * The car was filthy after sitting there for over a week. * The battery was at only 27%. After all that time, they didn't even bother charging it. When I asked Arthur why it wasn't charged, his excuse? "Because you wanted the car in such a hurry." A hurry? What the hell is he talking about? The car sat there for a week, and the only thing they did was a software update that should have been done before I even took delivery. This guy is full of excuses and has now cost the sales department a future customer--not just me, but everyone I know in Simi Valley, including multiple businesses. I've purchased over 30 cars in my life and have never had such a bad experience with a service department. Shame on the owner and sales managers for allowing this guy to run their service department. I wasn't even asking for much. read more

This place treats potential customers like suckers. We went to look at a particular vehicle. Overly friendly (red flag). Then the old "we need a copy of your driver's license" line. They were told NOT to run a hard credit check as we had just arrived and hadn't made a decision. "We won't." Surprise. Five minutes later we were alerted to a hard credit check being completed. When confronted they tried to lie their way out of it. We showed them the cell phone alert. They denied they had done it. Wife and I immediately got up to leave. "Where are you going? I thought we were friends?" Friends. We just met, we were potential customers and the first thing you do is lie and go behind our backs. 18 months later and that credit check is still on our record. Simply snake oil salesmen who will glad hand you, lie to you, and try to empty your pockets. DON'T GO TO ALEXANDER BUICK GMC in Simi Valley. read more

Since 2024 I've made two purchases at Alexander GMC of Simi Valley, and both experiences have been fantastic. Jeran was the salesperson who helped me with each purchase, and he provided the best service I've ever received at a dealership. I've bought and sold many vehicles over the years, and visiting a dealership used to feel like preparing for a long and stressful day until I found this team. Between Jeran's deep knowledge of GMC cars and trucks and David's expertise in finding financing that truly fits, the process was quick, transparent, and stress-free. This is the only dealership I want to work with from now on. Highly recommend Jeran, David and the Alexander GMC team for anyone looking for an exceptional car buying experience. read more

Stay clear of this dealership for service. They are totally incompetent and will make you regret your purchase; regardless how much you may enjoy your vehicle. Numerous attempts and trips back and forth were made to repair my vehicle, with total failure. The worst part was the lack of care from the service team. I had to go to a competitive dealer, and fortunately for myself, the vehicle was repaired properly in one single visit. I was prior warned by a friend not to have service at Alexander GMC in Simi Valley, and I sure wish I had listened. Will go out of my way to warn anyone and everyone I know to stay clear of this dealership. read more

They told me I HAD to buy "protections" which was the usual scammy ceramic protection and Lojack device. Door paint protectors for 995$!!!! You can buy them on Amazon for 20 bucks! I asked if I had to buy them, they said yes. Couldn't even accommodate a discount for a product I didn't ask for or want. Kept saying "their already on the vehicle". Finance manager was extremely rude had the attitude of a child and reeked of cigarettes. Never once met the sales manager but instead teenagers pretending to be sales managers. Kept telling me to put in my credit to get the price I wanted. My credit is excellent and I am not putting it in until a price is reached in writing. Then told me the price is "limited time special" and that I needed to make a decision right there otherwise I lose the discount which is probably another scammy lie to hit their quotas. You cant blow someone's phone up and force them to make a 70k$ decision. Don't shop here unless you want scammers to spam your phone to buy their overpriced trucks . Will likely be reporting them to the chamber or better business beauru or whoever can put a stop to these outdated scam tactics read more

This dealership does bait and switch. We saw vehicle on website called and verified they had that specific vehicle. We made and confirmed an appointment on the same day with them to come and test drive and make a deal on it. After driving 40 mins to the dealer, we arrive and they tell us that vehicle is unavailable and try to upsell us on more expensive models. Car buying is based on relationship building. This is not how you build relationships. I would not trust them. read more

I wanted to thanks Arthur, the Service Rep., who not only assisted me but made sure to take care of the factory recall issue for the front grille when it broke off from my truck. This is an overdue review of my experience at Alexander GMC. I live about two hours away from this location; I was hesitant to make the drive for two reasons: distance and dealing with a dealership, but they had the exact model I was looking for. The staff respectfully and professionally negotiated a price before I committed to the drive. The staff got me out of the door, test drive included, in less than two hours. You know that sleazy salesmen feel you joke about? Well it's not a joke here. A false sense of comfort quickly turns into being out of pocket expenses. If they tell you they'll do something, better get it in writing and while you are physically there. Otherwise, don't expect anything from them once you leave the sales floor. A lot of "we've got you!", or "I couldn't get anybody in time today but don't sweat it, just call me tomorrow and we'll get it squared away for you". Shame on me for not trusting my gut in the moment. But, almost 8 hours at a dealer will put your judgement to the test to simply end the sales nightmare. @Katie K. In response to your suggestion of reaching out to David Weg, your sales Manager. He is the issue here and at the core of my negative experience. The final straw that actually drove me to a review was his failed promise of a single part to replace one of the many physical issues on the vehicle I purchased. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! This was my first and last time leasing a GMC. I leased a new car that began to leak transmission fluid after owning it for a few days. We took the car in to get it fixed and they had it for over a week. When I took it in to get fixed they told me "I think the factory workers were being lazy that day and didn't torque the bolts right". So somehow this car managed to make it through quality control without them catching the defect in the transmission. Due to the car being in the shop for 7 days the dealership set up a rental car but when I arrived there was no rental car available. When I went to speak to my salesperson (Jeron) about my concerns he walked in the office smelling of marijuana, not to mention when my salesperson (Jeron) was selling me the car he was cursing profusely in front of my two small children. When I asked to speak to the general manager he gave me a song and dance about how they couldn't help me. My wife and I persisted and he said the owner of Alexander GMC would call me. What I got was a call from the general manager La'mel who pretended to be the owner. He told me he couldn't do anything to help. Then when I told him I was scared to have my kids in that car he told me a story of how he had a car problem once, as if that was going to make things right. Also, when I asked about what interest I was going to pay they told me "there is no interest, since it is a lease". What they didn't tell me was they were charging me interest under a different name (the name they used was "rent"). With all that said, this dealership didn't lift one finger to make right on this deal. This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I've ever dealt with. So save yourself the headache and DO NOT BUY OR LEASE A CAR from this place. They are not transparent whatsoever when writing lease agreements and hide extra fees. They allow their vehicles to leave the lot with major defects that are a safety hazard, and they are difficult to reach via phone and unhelpful. read more

When they say nobody beats them on price, I can attest to that. I could not be happier with the deal I received. Further more, the sales associates Sam Gambrich and Jeran Fernando were both a pleasure to deal with, sales manager David Weg was absolutely superb in his efforts to save me both on sales taxes and interest rates. This dealership operates a bait and switch operation. I found a car online listed at $48k and when I spoke to their rep Jeran, it was now at $59k due to undisclosed added "dealer accessories". I would not purchase a vehicle from these guys. My vehicle showed up with a large, deep scratch. I took it to the GM paint shop and the estimate was $1450. They stated that the scratch most likely occurred when the dealership put the painted fender flares on the vehicle. For my brand new truck to show up with a scratch and for Alexander GMC to refuse to make it right, it is garbage. Also, they rushed us through the paperwork so that the truck should be shipped to us the same day. They did not honor the $2500 GM loyalty cash. We buy 2 pickups every @5 years from GM. They said they couldn't go back and fix it because they had already sent the registration in. I don't believe that at all. Finally, after shuffling me from one voicemail to the other, they just stopped contacting me after assuring me that the Manager would call me back. Dennis and Mike were helpful up until I had and issue and then that ended. It may not be those guys directly, but the sentiment falls on everyone involved when this stuff happens. I'm fairly disappointed. GM and Alexander GMC are falling in line with the rest of the world, terrible customer service for very expensive purchases.
