Its been 24 hours since i coverted to an ameican car after 25 years and as i embark on my first adventure in a super powerful suburban 4wd i am so grateful for the process at Alexander Buick and GMC! I walked into this dealer by a stroke of faith and immediately greeted by the general manager Wayne. His charisma, warm smile and kindred spirirt makes you feel so welcome and as if you just arrived to see family. I expressed my needs for a new car and he was eager to know my why. This is so important because sometimes we dont understand the pros and cons of certain features. He educated me on the different models and gave me his opinion based on experience for my whys. I enjoyed a very casual conversation and soon thereafter we started looking at the availability of cars. The salesman, Gilbert joined us shortly after and was attentive to what i said. We saw a few models but Quickly arrived at a car that fit my needs. Gilbert and Wayne were on point showing me the features, car history and offered a test drive. I tend to research quiet a bit and was happy to come into a zero pressure dealer but rather a casual conversation to ensure that i found a car for my wants and needs.. The car needed a recall repair which was handled the next morning as the part had been on backprder and i came back in to finalize the deal. The negotiation process was effortless as they are transparent and professional. Gilbert answered every question and fulfilled each request. I filled my app online and when i came back in everything was ready. The car was spotless, full tank of gas and ready for me. The finance manager was very educational on gm products and very swift! I always dreaded the closing process but this was in a blink of an eye. Wayne is new to the community and has a vested interest to make this dealership succesful. He has opportunity, willingness and drive. I admire this in a small business within our beloved simi valley. friends and family- visit the dealer, take a look, SHOP local, the 'deals' are here. The car is here. You just have to walk in. Good luck on ur journey, im off to mine! read more

Went in to have an engine light checked. Was told it's $179 just to look at the car regardless of cause. Then said the repairs could cost thousands. Obviously not interested in service. read more

My issue was solved satisfactorily. If it wasn't for this, they would have received 5 stars.

horrible place, do not buy a vehicle from these people. I bought my truck from the Simi valley location and it had more wrong with it then right with it. they knew this when selling it to me. they wouldn't offer any warranty. it only had 10k miles but was just let over 3 years old at the time. they are very bad people. do not use alexander gmc. choose another place if you value your money. read more

I had the Best experience with Robert @ Alexander Buick! My Acadia's transmission was starting to slip. After careful inspection of the vehicle, the problem was resolved, and a new transmission was installed. I thankfully had an extended warranty on the car and Robert offered me a rental at no charge while they repaired my car. Robert kept in constant communication along the way to let me know of the process. Alexander Buick, you will Always have my business. Thank you for exceptional work! read more

We worked with Elayne in test driving a car, she was amazing. My problem came with working with the sales team. We went late 5:45pm Thursday to look at a car and was offered a good deal by sales Lamal. The issue came with the manager Mike and sales Lamal, not wanting to work with us to confirm the cost in the morning with are bank since we already had an approved loan. I just couldn't understand why the Manager Mike could not back up what he and his team was offering until the morning. If you have ever gone with an approved loan and if the vehicle alone is more than the bank is allowing, you must pay the difference. After two days going back and forth, we worked a deal out. I should have just walked away but didn't, lesson learned for future. My biggest issue came with the sales Tony, he was very inpatient and rude working with our bank. We went in on Saturday to sign papers, by Monday he was already calling where the check. As soon as Tony got a response from our bank, he didn't like. My husband received an EMAIL, "Hey, sorry to bother you I checked with bank, and they won't be able to do the rate with us at rate what you guys need to do is send us a check". We stopped responding to him and allow the bank to handle the finance. Clearly there was no issue, we still have the car, Tony was inpatient. I would assume to allow at least 24 hours for the bank to process the papers but dang I guess GMC Simi doesn't do that. One more thing we had a due bill pending, I had to reach out and get that time set up when I was told they would call me. They were quick to ensure they were paid but took their time on scheduling my due bill. Getting the due bill taken care of was another headache. I was supposed to get a call from Service on Monday from Harry or Tina to schedule my service. I had to call Wednesday and once I got a hold of Tina, she had no idea on my due bill and was not able to schedule anything. She took my information, and the Service Manager was going to call me. Nope, I then receive a call from sales Tony to schedule my service. I will not be going back to GMC Simi or referring anyone. read more

We had a great experience with Alexander Buick GMC today. Tony was extremely friendly and kind. He was helpful during our test drive and purchase experience. He made the process of purchasing a new vehicle very simple. Tony and the team were able to work with our budget needs and did not pressure us for anything extra. They gave us a really good deal on a new car and truly made us feel comfortable about our purchase. I am a teacher and Tony was able to provide us with the educator discount which was generous. We would highly recommend going to Alexander Buick GMC for a new vehicle! read more

Update----- Chris, the service manager called. I guess the found out I have one more service though GM he will honor it. Then we will talk about the other 4 I'm owed. I will change the stars and update again once I know more I'm going to write this hopping it gets my issue resolved. Let's see. So I bought a 2018 Yukon from Simi Valley GMC back in January 2018. There were issues with the paint I didn't want to make a big fuss over it so they gave me 5 free oil changes and rotations. I had one done just before they were bought by Alexander. Now Alexander is saying a due bill from Simi Valley is not good. The service manger says he will look into it. But really? Wow. Guess when you are as big as Alexander you screw over the town that it was built around. I will update this as the service manager says he will run it up the chain. But we will see. I was going to buy a new diesel truck soon guess it won't be a GMC. If they can't take care of us. read more

I dropped my truck in the after hours drop box on a Wednesday night. Requested recall work and to rotate the tires. I never received a phone call the next morning to even let me know that my truck had been checked in or to verify the work I had requested. I called the service department just before 1:00pm on Thursday asking for status on my truck. I was told all advisors were busy, so the nice young lady took my name and number for them to call back. Over an hour later I received a call back from Dwayne that my truck was ready. When I arrived to pick up, he said nothing about the lack of phone calls or communication, and instead tried to get me to give all 10s on their survey by not charging me for the tire rotation. Seems the new owners have a lot to fix at this location. Running a lean operation by eliminating some positions and staff is not always best. read more

If I could give them a zero, I would because this place the service managers cool if there's a curly headed guy you're dealing with he's a jack ass they ran my credit 11 times and dropped my credit score almost 50 points. I wouldn't trust them to finance anything. read more

If you come here ask for WALTER! By far the best salesman I've ever dealt with! He put in the leg work, gave me everything I wanted, which was a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 All terrain, and worked with me on the price. Honestly I've dealt with many sales people, they can be pushy, they can seem like they don't care, blow you off if the vehicle isn't on their lot. WALTER, did everything perfect! He showed me that I wasn't just a sale, he took the time, and cares! I truly appreciated how much he did! So if you come to this dealer, ask for WALTER, because he will take the time, and get you what you want, and make you feel like family!! Thank you WALTER! Again ASK FOR WALTER!! read more

I spoke with MANNY a few days ago who assured me that bringing my car in for end of lease was no problem. Oh we could take the photos together and everything would be great. Because, yes, he wanted to sell me a new car. This is where I originally leased my car. I went to bring it back in, after speaking with GM Financial who told me to take it to any GM dealership at anytime. Period. I bring it in, and I am told that since they were sold, they didn't have a processing ID number to do this. Funny, you can SELL cars but you don't have access to do an End of Lease? Fine. I left to go to Thousand Oaks where I would be purchasing my car where another GM dealership was. They also DENIED my end of lease turn in. They are both related. Thanks Silver Star. I will be contacting GM Financial Monday. Since they were closed when this came to a head in Thousand Oaks as well. read more

Made an appointment on a Thursday to have my truck service that following Tuesday. The dealership offered to pick up my truck from my home. Come about an half hour after my appointment time on Tuesday, no one was here to pick or my truck nor did I received a phone call. I ended up calling to see where they were. Was told they forgot they were suppose to pick up the truck and they could make it maybe an hour later. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment and took my truck to Firestone for service. This is about my 3rd with horrible customer service since I bought the truck in 2014. I tried to give this dealership another chance. No more!! Don't use this dealership for anything. read more

Alexander GMC - My new danali - Car Dealers Near Me - Simi Valley, California

Beautiful deal and stand behind each customer, and make impossible - POSSIBLE! Thank you to Dave who made the whole transition a please experience, and the whole approach and customer care was a top notch! After my failed bad experience with other dealers, I decided to check on this dealer to see if there was any deals on a NEW GMCs. So as soon as i walked in to their showroom, Dave came to me and asked if I was looking for anything particular, and long story short, i picked a Terrain, which seemed beautiful car and had a sweet deal with low down and low monthly payments. I was picking the car for my dad, and after running my info the provided me a quote which i agreed and no more questions asked. I have asked my dad to drive by to take a test drive on this vehicle and after he came in, and took the test drive, we all agreed that that was our car. We ended up getting one and cannot be even more happier then that. Thank you Dave and Finance Dept Team for making our this transaction smooth and enjoyable. read more

I went to this place because they advertise A truck for $40k online the sticker said $37k but I went anyway. I test drove it and was ready to make a deal! The Sales Manager DON COLLETE had already Given Preliminary numbers to the sales Guy I was dealing with without meeting me or seeing me. Then Before I made my decision I went outside to look over the Truck one more time that's when I caught DON'S Eye! I walked in And he Immediately called the sales Agent. He left and came Back just to Tell me oh Sorry that Truck has a Package on it that will be 6k more than the marketed price online and at this Moment on the Sticker on the windshield! I said OK but that's not what it says Online and also it Said 100k mile Certified warranty to which he Said that impossible that's a platinum package it will cost and Additional 6k so that's $12k more than marketed! Don said he will Run My Credit to see if I get Approved after A 1hr Wait he came back to say oh Sorry I will have to call back Monday to Confirm I will Call you! Monday Came and DON WAS OFF.. Today I spoke with Don after several attempts and Voicemails only for him to say Oh Sorry your Not Approved and there's nothing we can do. Just to make sure I wasn't being discriminated against or Profiled I said Oh ok Maybe If I bring My wife we can Co-Sign? He immediately responded Well Where does she work? How much Income? You would need to Prove it! And bring Her taxes for this year. I said this year we haven't done our taxes it's December. Obviously you know there not done yet.. That's when I told Him DON I'm going to be straight up with you! It doesn't seem like you really want me to buy this truck! To which his response was well if you feel that way maybe you should buy this truck somewhere else! It only PROVED THAT WAS HIS Real INTENTIONS! All Along! I would Like to see How hard He really Tried to Sale me This Truck! When Was the Last Time you Walked Out A Dealership And they Don't Call you With a follow Up Sales Attempt?! Only when they Don't want to Sale it. I felt Profiled for Being a Young Hispanic with a Desire for a Nice Truck! I'm leaving this review and It's My First Ever!! Because I believe that Others should Know about this! I'm not naming the Sales Guy Because he Was Great But Don Is Something Else! I will also report this to the BBB. Update!!! Came to Parkview GMC In Valencia and Got An Amazing Deal Better Yet Great Customer Service!! Thank You Don if it wasn't for your Horrible Service And No Help I wouldn't have gotten My New Truck!! read more

Everyone at this dealership are the nicest people one can ask for when dealing with car issues. I had a car issue recently and i called and spoke to the service manager, Harry, who was the best person ever and stayed a bit later to help get me an appointment and explain what could be the issue! He also took note that I only had a couple days to get it fixed before I leave for college! Then when I dropped off the car, Rob, in the service department was so kind and sweet! Rob checked me in and explained what the process would look like. Everyone always had a smile on their face! I definitely recommend the service department! read more

Leased one vehicle here and went back for a 2nd today. After being told of a special lease via email and spending 2 hours going through the paperwork they informed us they had only offered that because they were trying to clear out their inventory but it wasn't available any more. Then they brought over the finance guy who began to tell me the reason we got such a good deal on our first lease was because we traded in a vehicle except we hadn't. I told him it was a lease return to Nissan so we couldn't have traded anything in. He didn't know what to say so he said well that deal doesn't exist, stuck his hand out to shake my hand and we left. The lease that was offered via email is supposed to be good through the end of the month but it appears they like to bait their customers with better offers than they're actually willing to honor... Needless to say I won't be a return customer. read more

My son and I had the best experience buying a car today. After a frustrating experience yesterday, we purchased the perfect car at the perfect price thanks to Wayne Tinsley, manager of Alexander GMC/Buick.
