Thank you Larry G and Alexander Buick GMC!! I had been shopping around for a few weeks to lease a Buick Enclave. Here in 2019, interesting some of the dealerships didn't get back to me for 3 to 5 days, told me they would not quote prices over the phone, or they kept insisting I had to come in. When I first contacted them they didn't have the exact vehicle I wanted. Larry was the only one who said I would love to help you find the car you want. Larry was not pushy at all and always came from contribution. He was able to track down the car I wanted. The best part they got me in and out in about an hour or so. Larry even picked me up since I live about 25 minutes away. They offered to have the vehicle delivered to me but I always prefer to go the dealership just in case there is an issue. This by far the best dealership experience I have ever had!! read more

I can't say enough nice things about Edward Gonzalez and the whole crew at Alexander Buick GMC! Such nice, accommodating people! They gave us a fantastic deal on our new car and also gave us a VERY fair deal on our trade in and we got exactly the car my wife wanted! Couldn't be happier with our experience here! We had previously gone to the dealership in Thousand Oaks and they were completely unwilling to negotiate a fair deal with us. So glad we decided to come here to Edward and his team at Alexander Buick GMC! Thanks again for everything Edward! read more

After getting the run around from a bunch of other dealers in the area, I called Alexander Buick GMC this morning to ask a few questions about one of their certified pre-owned cars. Jessel was so kind and informative on the phone, and a few hours later I'm signing paperwork to buy that car. I can't say enough great things about Wayne, the General Sales Manager, and Edwards, the salesman who helped me out. They have both been incredibly straightforward and honest, making the process easy and getting me a great deal. If you're in the market for a car I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Bait and switch. Sales manager "Sean" called me after I told the sales rep (who was great) that I did not want to buy the buy up. Sean said I had to buy the $3K protection guard buy up as part of my deal or else they would sell the car to the 10 guys waiting behind me. This was after I had agreed to an original deal, run credit and was presented an offer without the $3k included. Additionally Sean told me I had to agree to use Alexander GMC financing or they'd sell the car to the other 10 guys waiting. My rate from BofA was 2.54. The rate they were forcing me until was 3.99%. I tried to call the owner to make him aware of the sales practices and get to a fair deal and his staff sent me to his voice mail and told me he was in meetings. I drove to the location to talk it out and try to get a fair deal - even offering to pay half of the $3k to help pay the staff wages during the hard times of covid. When I asked to speak to the owner - Robert Alexander - I was told to wait. He sat in his office with his door open 10 feet away. No calls, no one in the building except me and the staff. Made me wait patiently- knowing I had called a few times with respectful requests to discuss the unfair and bad sales practices). Literally 10 feet from me door open, After waiting some time I decided to leave and avoid the bad deal. TERRIBLE situation to be in - to want to buy a truck for my family and me to enjoy and make memories in ruined by these guys. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. After I politely walked out, I received a call on my way home from the senior sales rep who said he was the guy below the owner Robert. He went on to explain the rationale behind the $3k fee and catch this ---- Crazy really --- he acknowledged pushing Sean, the senior sales rep, to forcing me into taking the bad interest rate to make money!!!!! He knew this wasn't in my best interest. My rate was 2.54% vs. their 3.99%. Unreal this place. I would recommend buying elsewhere. Pay more if you have to. Don't buy here. Lastly, I was told several times throughout the painful process that the push to sell the add on product and rate was top down (meaning the owner Robert Alexander who ignored me from 10ft with not a customer on the lot and no phones ringing). Service, integrity and general respect starts with you Robert Alexander. Your companies phone holding message says, in summary, the deal should not be pressured. Sean sure told me bluntly while we had an agreement, the deal changed and if I don't pay $3k more and take worse loan terms there were 10 guys waiting to buy the car. Terrible situation to be in as a consumer who is trying to buy a truck to take my family on camping trips fir the next decade. Really crappy. The truck isn't cheap and to make it more stressful is terrible. I've reported this dealer to GMC corporate as well. I'm not this type of person to do this but it was just wrong what they're doing and they know it. read more

Wayne and his team were absolutely amazing. As someone who grew up in dealerships and currently works in the customer service industry I have to say I was incredibly impressed with the level of kindness and professionalism this team has. I drove out of my way from Granada Hills to come to this dealership as the one I originally got my car from was an awful experience and did not want to go back. I'm so glad I did because this was the BEST experience I've had at a car dealership & will continue to bring my business here! They also ensured they followed current COVID-19 guidelines and made sure we were comfortable. It felt like we were in and out in no time. Bravo. Thank you to Wayne, Gilbert & their Finance Manager! read more

After looking online, it said the Service Department was open from 8:00am - 2:00pm on Saturdays. I went to drop my car off this morning only to be greeted with rude customer service and also to find out that the Service Center is actually closed now on weekends. After questioning the reason it was closed, I was told that they weren't getting business (not surprised after reading the other reviews) and they couldn't stay open just for me. I was floored at the response. Oh well... this is why they don't have business and people decide to go elsewhere. I purchased the vehicle from here and was considering upgrading from the regular Yukon Denali to the Yukon Denali XL as we were running out of room in our car. I planned to browse the lot this morning. Opportunity lost due to poor customer service and poor a poorly operated service department. read more

This is a review of their Service Dept. After a very bad experience at Silver Star Chevrolet in Thousand Oaks - our long-time family mechanic suggested I take my truck to Simi Valley GMC (formerly Bunnin). I called and was transferred to Ken Duncan - Service Mgr. I described my problem to him. He said bring it in.. My car was diagnosed properly and fixed promptly. Not only that - I believe that Ken is a top-notch, honest guy that cares about the his company, his profession, and his customers. read more

I am a HUGE FAN of supporting our local businesses. After being a small business owner myself, I always hoped that our community was filled with small business owners who appreciate the people who support them. Apparently this car dealer is not on that list. I was recently selling my brother's car for him, when I saw te sign at this dealership saying "WE WILL BUY YOUR CAR FOR $500 MORE THAN ANY CARMAX OFFER". After wasting my time during 3 trips there, plus an extra trip to Carmax, I took the "CARMAX OFFER" back to this dealer, and they offered me $4,200 LESS than Carmax! I told them I did not appreciate their wasting my time, and suggested that they take down this DISHONEST sign in front of their dealership. I took the car to Carmax, and they bought it for the price they quoted. The bottom line is, I would never want to bad mouth any local business, but this dealership apparently does not respect nor value this community enough to be HONEST and do what their sign says. Therefore, I am SAD to say I will NEVER do business with this dealership, ever. God bless Simi Valley, and God bless America!!! P.S.: I am now a fan of selling vehicles to Carmax, as THEY do what they say! read more

Shopping for a 2015 Denali I decided to give Simi Valley GMC a try. I wanted to cut through all the BS that comes with buying a new car and Kevin Pool (salesman) did just that. Kevin was honest and respectful right from the start. Straight shooter that wont nickle and dime you. They found the truck I was looking for and delivered Keys in my hand without any issues. From the finance guys to the trade portion, everything was top notch. I had received several offers on my trade in, but SImi Valley GMC was the most competitive. Highly recommend Keven Pool and Simi Valley GMC. read more

This review is for Simi Valley Buick GMC Service Department. One word... AWESOME! These guys are honest, fast, friendly, and very knowledgable. I have been in several times to have very minor issues with my new truck taken care of. It seems that it left the factory with a couple little issues... All cosmetic, nothing mechanical. Ryan and the service guys have been incredible in their repairs. Everything was done quickly, and perfectly. Not often that a service department out shines the factory, but these guys do! After I ran out of diesel fuel one night, I know... Don't ask, I had it towed 70 miles because I won't trust anyone else working on my baby! That's gotta tell you something about these guys. Because it's a new vehicle, it also came with some oil changes. I have watched as they have changed the oil, replaced oil filter, checked fluid levels, replenish DEF fluid, rotate the tires, and greased where necessary. All in the same time as a NASCAR pitstop! Okay, maybe not quite that fast, but fast enough. I am so grateful that my local GMC dealer is customer driven and goes out of their way to make sure that my expectations are met. Thank you so much Ryan and the crew at the Simi GMC Service Department! read more

I was purchasing a car from Simi Valley Chrysler, Dodge Jeep across the street. I was already preapproved by Sean in Finance, when I made a wrong turn into Alexander Buick. I loved the Encore on the lot. Well Adiss showed me the Encore, Don in Finance preapproved me with conditions, on an Encore. I left the Dealership to revisit Sean at SV Chrysler and tell him that I was going to go with the Encore at Alexander Buick. Sean had created an excellent financing proposal and got me bought at 2 banks up to $26,000 even though SSI Disability was largely my income. He was a Financier, a gentleman and a scholar. I was ashamed that I accidentally shopped him. I told him the truth, that I was going to Alexander Buick for the Encore. It was late when I left, dealerships were closed and I went home. Well, my daughter was hospitalized suddenly, so I put car buying on the back burner until I received a call from Ed in "Customer Service" at Alexander a couple weeks later, asking me to come and complete the transaction for the Buick. I went in on 11/17 with my daughter who wanted a new car too. She had a Honda CRV 2017 to trade in for a Jeep. We met the New General Sales Manager Wayne... I stepped up to his desk, he didn't look up from his computer, my daughter noticed his man of God ring, she mentioned they shared a religion... He asked what I wanted. I told him I wanted him to make eye contact with me please. I reached my hand out for him to shake it, reluctantly he did. I explained to Wayne about the car, and loan pre-approval and w Adiss and Don in F&I, and the call beckoning me in from Ed to come in. Wayne flatly told me he had no deal for me. Was not personable or particularly kind or well mannered. My daughter commented on his inability to stand when i offered my hand, and "No No No" was, in her opinion, all he would say to me. He told me he was the new Sales GM. I could barely pull information out of him about what had happened to my deal between then and now? Why the time with Don? The call from Ed? I didn't understand. He was rude, unkind, ill mannered. Not nice. I explained to Wayne that because of their pre-approval I had essentially burnt that other Dealership THAT DID AN EXCELLENT JOB - Sean in Finance at Simi Valley Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. That I would've never done that had Don not pre-approved me. Hey, I've felt better cared for going to court! Service is everything. Wayne did tell me that because of my Social Security Disability income, I could not procure a loan as SSDI is above any collections action. True. WHAT WAYNE NEEDS TO KNOW IS THAT ALL LONG TERM SSDI BECOMES A REGULAR DRAW ON SOCIAL SECURITY AT THE AGE OF 59. I AM 59. CONVERTED TO SOCIAL SECURITY. NO LONGER SSDI. DUH. I pick up my car at Simi Valley Chrysler Dodge, Jeep today. Taking daughter with me to look at a trade for her. I have never YELPED before, but I can tell you as a former long term Loan Officer who understands finance? This man was rude, did not take any time to generate any Good Will in this community. My daughter scoffed at the importance of his man of God status. The two starts are for the effort of Don in F&I, also for Adiss in sales...who no longer works there. read more

Buying a car is not typically an enjoyable experience, particularly a used one. My husband and I came to the GMC dealership specifically because they had a 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid available for purchase. We had settled on this particular vehicle after test driving a 2009 at the Toyota dealership in Thousand Oaks. Since the manager at that dealership basically blew us off when we tried to negotiate, we left and went looking for another one. Not only was the one in Simi Valley newer, it also had fewer miles on it, and the price was the same. So we went there. First of all, Kevin Pool and Brandon Guerrero are top notch in customer service. They both made us feel welcome and well taken care of...and that is no small feat, especially with two toddlers along for the ride. Second of all, the dealership itself is well maintained and has a playroom for kids. How many dealerships around here accommodate families so well? This is the first one we've seen, and it was much appreciated during the buying process. The car itself had a very strong chemical smell inside, but Kevin and Brandon made sure that it was cleaned and detailed again before we finalized the deal. They really went out of their way to make the experience a fair and pleasant one for us. The reason I knocked off one star is because the gas tank was nearly empty when we picked up the vehicle. I'm not talking 1/4 tank left, either. I mean we had to fill it before getting on the freeway four blocks away or risk not getting home. IMO the tank should have been full when we purchased it. So if you are seeking a dealership that will accommodate you rather than pressure you, look no further. read more

I bought my 2005 LeSabre here and have taken it here for service ever since. It has always been expensive but I figured dealer service came at a slight premium and was willing to pay it......... until recently. I have since found out how much they have been overcharging me for years now! My alternator went out and I took it in for service. My last vehicle, a Nissan, had the same thing happen and it cost me about $300 to have it replace so imagine my surprise when the estimate they gave me was almost $1200!!! I told them to forget it and took it to the PepBoys down the street. Same job, lifetime warranty on the parts, $438 The really low point was, after notifying them by phone 45 minutes earlier that I was coming to pick up my car, I went in and the Service Manager [Chuck] told me I would have to wait 45 minute to an hour for them to finish the paperwork before I could have my vehicle back. He said didn't even know where the car was at that point. [And this is the Service Manager telling me this, for crying out loud] I WENT BALLISTIC. I threatened to call the police if they didn't give me my car back IMMEDIATELY! Unbelievably, Chuck actually got in my face and if the dealership manager hadn't come out of his office at that point it probably would have been someone else calling the police. I'll buy my next vehicle at a Chevrolet or Ford dealership and I will certainly never use Buick's service department ever again. read more

My experience with this dealership from the time they sold me the car to my service appointment today has been stellar. I have to say though, that today exceeded my expectations - I was late delivering my car (naturally), but Robert was amazing when I called to say I'd be late... and stayed consistent - checked me in and got me out of there in 10 mins with a Lyft to work, and same for the pickup! This is hands-down the best service I've had with a new car to date and I surely won't be going anywhere else for my servicing needs again, definitely not any time soon! Thanks Robert and Team! read more

Daniel is a great sales representative! My husband and I drove 2 hours to go to the Los Angeles area to purchase a new vehicle, and we called many dealerships. Daniel at Simi Valley was one of the few who sent us spec sheets for the vehicles when asked. Because of that, we were able to decide and tell Daniel which vehicle we wanted to purchase before we arrived. Upon arrival, the car was ready for us to see. Being from out of town, he helped make our purchase as efficiently as possible. He still took the time to show all the bells and whistles for the vehicle and answer any questions we had. read more

Stay away from this dealership. Terrible customer service. I purchased my new 2019 yukon xl from them and naturally wanted to use their service department as a loyalty and because it's in the city I live in. I took my car in this morning because it was loosing power and shutting off while I was driving at high rate of speed on the fwy. I explained the safety issue and that this has happened 3 times now and requested they put me in a loaner car. The service advisor was rude saying they have no loaners right now and wouldn't do a rental. I then asked for written documentation and asked to speak to the service manager. He was just as horrible and rude. I have never experienced this. I've had 3 Yukon's and several service visits at several gmc dealers and have always been given a loaner or rental car if they didn't have any. I took my vehicle and left (even in the extremely unsafe condition it was in) and drive it to silver star gmc in Thousand Oaks. They were fantastic and couldn't believe that Alexander let me leave with this safety issue. They got me in a comparable rental paid by them and I was in and out in 45 minutes. Has not been able to get to it? That's the purpose of an appointment... that's why it took 4 days for the appointment "So they would be able to work on it!!" Scott would constantly cut me off and interrupt me when asking questions... when I told him why do you keep on cutting me off? If you were talking to my husband you wouldn't do that... Fantastic experience! We stopped by on a Saturday and received immediate attention. Our sales associate, Michael Angelo, was well versed on the vehicle and did a great job of explaining the many features, without condescension or pressure (two qualities that usually send me running as a customer). We returned the following week (after looking at almost every other vehicle on the market in the same class size, at many different dealerships) to lease the vehicle we had previously seen/driven. We were greeted by the dealership president, Phil Isbell, with a hand shake and a genuine smile. He personally took the time to talk with us and answer any questions. Being that we were on a budget, we asked them to run pricing on a couple different vehicles so that we could see which fit best. They did so without hesitation! Never once did they make us feel like we were wasting their time. Additionally, everyone we spoke with was extremely attentive and gracious. I'm absolutely in love with my new Acadia and would absolutely return to Simi Valley Buick GMC for any future car purchases--they've earned a customer for life. Just a couple days ago, I returned to have a couple minor imperfections in my new car fixed (all superficial and covered by warranty), and everyone in the service department was great too! Chuck, the service advisor, was pleasant, helpful and efficient. Everyone I talked to was very friendly, and I had a couple service staff members go out of their way to see if this overloaded mom needed any extra help. I live just minutes from Silver Star GMC in Thousand Oaks, but I will be driving to Simi Valley GMC for all my service appointments in the future, as well. read more
