A Florida restaurant right on the water with great views and good food? Yes, please. Crazy About…read moreYou is nicely appointed with a bit of charming quirk woven into the decor. I stopped in for lunch after a work meeting and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

From the moment we sat down, our waitress was warm and attentive. I wish I'd gotten her name. She made great recommendations that were all delicious. Is a simple but effective menu with starters included with the main dish. Great value for their portions. We had no complaints about the food and the drinks were just as good. The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.

We asked to sit downstairs where the DJ starts around 11PM. The energy was great with incredibly comfortable and spacious seating. There was a 2 hour limit at the table, but we moved to the bar after our meal. Loved the caviar potato as an appetizer, and the beef tenderloin literally melted in my mouth. The downstairs scene gets pretty loud just an FYI. Service was top notch. Seems pretty trendy and mainstream, but definitely worth it.

Mila is undeniably gorgeous and absolutely the place to be seen for dinner -- but as a brunch…read moredestination, it left me longing for the Setai. Let's start with the good, because credit where it's due: the food is genuinely excellent, particularly the fish and seafood, which were the clear stars of the spread. And our server, while I'll get to a quibble shortly, was fun, warm, and thoroughly professional. Now the rest. Brunch should feel like a leisurely indulgence, not a contact sport. The meat station had a queue of 20+ people at peak -- I came for great food, not a deli ticket. The space is crowded and genuinely hard to navigate. Champagne required actively hunting down a server, whereas the Setai simply leaves a bottle at your table and lets you breathe. Coffee is $7 a cup -- at a brunch of this price point, charging for coffee feels a little cheeky. Then there was the pacing. Well before our two hours were up, our (otherwise lovely) server began the gentle wrap-up and produced the bill -- which is a curious energy for a "linger and enjoy" brunch. And we were charged an extra 2% as a "large party" of seven... at a buffet. Where we served ourselves. I'm still working out the math on that one. If you want a beautiful setting, live music, better drinks, attentive service, and zero queues, the Setai brunch wins -- every single time. Mila, save it for the nightlife.

The menu was overwhelming but in a good way, so many options that sounded so delicious. However, it was a weekday so i inquired about them having happy hour, which they did but they didn't initially give us the happy hour menu when sitting us down. The happy hour specials and prices were just too good to pass! We truly enjoyed every single food item we ordered, which is quite rare for me and my husband. I am still dreaming about their macaroni and cheese. Trust me, try this restaurant!

Food (1-10) 10 the best Appetizers - Honey Biscuits (10) - Hot, fluffy, and the strawberry preserve made me have a flashback moment to my Grandma's house. 1) Chicken & Waffles (9) - Hot, crispy, & moist especially the breast. Seasoned well enough but the honey hot sauce added that extra kick. Waffles were fine and the watermelon cubes did not work for me. I observed several other people's plates, and most of them did not eat them. 2.) Braised Short Ribs (9) - My wife's favorite. "Lord have mercy." The meat was so tender, seasoned and the mashed potatoes underneath were spot on. Great dish 3) Salmon - (8) - Good, a family member main course. They were raving about it. 4) Brussels sprouts & Fried Okra (10) - Both were in a small cast-iron skillet. If you're from down south you know what that means. Hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Somebody on the Sous-chef line knows exactly what they are doing. Service - (8) Friendly & attentive server. Now they automatically tack on 18% gratuity and ask for an additional tip. Also, the sales tax is ridiculously high. Not knocking the hustle but I don't want anybody to be surprised.
