The truffle mac and cheese - all I can say is what I mainly tasted was the wax-coated paper container those bread crumbs came from. It's so odd. I was excited to truffle mac and cheese but it did not do it for me. Again, for the price, I've had better. The Brussel sprouts were ok but undercooked for my liking. The asian inspired sauce they come in is excellent. My wife had their ahi tuna special and raved about the romesco sauce on top, which we've never seen before on tuna but she liked it a lot. No coffee creamer--we had to ask. No sweetener--we had to ask. No salt or pepper--we had to ask. One piece of my toast was buttered, the other wasn't. I needed a packet of butter but didn't bother asking. I was also given just one small jelly packet for two pieces of toast. By that point, I was tired of having to ask for things that should have been provided. The bacon was another disappointment. It was easily 80% fat, with one piece being closer to 95%. I mentioned it to our waiter, who kindly ordered a replacement piece, but unfortunately, it came out looking pretty much the same. Overall, the food was just OK--nothing special. I realize some people may consider these complaints petty, and individually, perhaps they are. But when you add them all together, they make for a disappointing dining experience.
