Trying to go local, I dropped off five pairs of brand new pants on a Thursday morning when they opened at 10am. The lady at the counter said Tuesday would be just fine for pickup. I said what time, she said when we set a date it can be anytime that day. I came around 4pm. I waited behind two people to pick up my pants. It was like a sweatshop, for me, with the sun flooding in through the windows. Wearing a bathing suit would have been more appropriate attire for the heat level. When I went up to the counter the lady took my ticket and searched all over, with struggle locating my pants. Finally, finding my pants, they had not done the alterations at all. The lady asked if I could come back later that day. I took it as a bad omen, and did not want to chance brand new dress pants with unreliable people.
When I arrived I dropped my pants off in a paper bag, my clothes were clean and folded nicely. When I left, they handed me my pants back in a plastic cheap grocery bag. read more
