    Mediterranean Dip Trio
    Guillermo G.

This restaurant was recommened by a Yelp friend. Now I recommend it to everyone. This was probably my favorite meal during our recent visit to Anaheim. I loved the watermelon and grilled halloumi cheese appetizer and the Mediterranean Dip Trio was a great way to sample their different dips. Their chicken is excellent, juicy and tender. A must try you an't go wrong with, but it you want to try something different I recommend the Mansaf. Service was great. Helpful and friendly. Don't sleep on this place. Put it on your shortlist.

This is a cool spot to check out. I love how they sell Turkish coffee sets and goodies you can check out. The food was quite good. We got the fattoush salad with chicken shawarma and lamb kabsa. The meat was tender and fell off the bone. YUM! The service was great and everyone was nice, professional, and kind. I like the ambiance and how they have an outdoor patio just for hooka smoking if that's your thing. Good spot to check out at leash once! Will definitely have to come back!

Aleppo's might actually be my new favorite restaurant. Every single dish on the menu has been phenomenal, I feel so lucky to have this so close to home. Out favorite is obviously the mansaf, it is tender and crafted to perfection. I would have this every single day if i could. Inside is very sophisticated and comfortable, while outside has a beautiful view with bonfire tables that set the vibe for a great meal. The staff is friendly and helpful when submitting orders, so really everything about this place is amazing.

Came here to lunch with coworkers on a workday and was pretty busy. What caught my eye was they had muhammara dip on the menu which is my new favorite thing to get and kicks hummus' butt 10 fold. I was not disappointed, the mix bowls were tasty and came out with a side of freshly baked flatbread to eat it with which was a nice touch and unexpected. The pickled sides were nice and of course the garlic and muhammara dip were better than expected. The food was almost enough to feed two per bowl which was a nice bang for your buck. The rest of the menu looked awesome and I can't wait to come back and try more things out.

Extraordinarily authentic with flours of the beautiful country of Syria wrapping you in the ambience and flour of the most authentic and wonderful Middle Eastern cuisine if I could use that generalized term but the Weng lit wonderful restaurant and ambience and family like atmosphere is sure to be perfect for your catering party or family event highly recommended easy parking go see the wonderful smiles of Leo's kitchen where you will taste a small piece of wonderful nuanced savory dishes and herbs

Let's just get right down to it. Get the 3 dip sampler. It comes with hummus, mutabbal (eggplant), and muhammara (Aleppo peppers with walnuts) which aren't like any you've tasted before. This is not your standard one dimensional pasty hummus. Mutabbal is usually my favorite dip and Aleppo hits it right out of the park. Muhammara - wow, how have I not had this before? The smokiness, the walnuts, it was perfect dipping with the (very hot) pita. Dare I say this was my favorite of the three? For proteins, we had the 3 kebab combo (chicken, filet mignon, and kefta) - again, all grilled to perfection, succulent, juicy, and so flavorful. Slather garlic sauce over everything! Our other protein was the mansaf. The lamb was fall of the bone and tender. The almonds give a nice crunch to each bite and the yogurt sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Ask for the green drink, perfect for cooling down in a warm day. Servers are super attentive and always checking in. Come hungry!

Absolutely scrumptious middle eastern food. We got a meal catered to work and the quality and freshness of the ingredients spoke volumes about this establishment. The cheese sticks were crisp and scrumptious, the lamb was tender, and the rice was very flavorful. The nuts add a good contrast to the rice dishes as well. My favorite were the chicken kabobs which were super juicy and flavorful. Highly recommend you try this restaurant.

Aleppo's Kitchen is by far my favorite Mediterranean restaurant now. The food was so good! Loved everything. I truly wish the portions were just a tad bigger because it was just so delicious and I wish my plate had more! lol. The customer service was EXCELLENT. Our server was so sweet and kind. I was so happy with how respectful and attentive she was the whole time. Thank you so much for the amazing customer service. Ambiance was calm and family oriented. The seating arrangement was comfortable and perfect. Overall, this place is a 10/10. My only complaint is that a $33 kabob platter should have a larger portion of rice, salad, and meat. Iv been to many Mediterranean restaurants and portions do vary but this one was a bit on the smaller side. Like Panini Kabob for example gives great portions at a good price and the taste is great there too. Thats the one and only thing I would say should be updated. However, they have great tasting food and I will definitely come back!

Awesome, everything was great! All of the flavors were amazing and beef was so tender.

Aleppo Kitchen has some of the best chicken I've had in Anaheim. I ordered the chicken kebab, and it was incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and you could tell it was grilled fresh. If you're looking for something more portable, they also serve the same delicious chicken as a wrap, which is just as good. Whether you go with the kebab or the wrap, you really can't go wrong. The service was friendly, the food came out fresh, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Mediterranean food!

Had a family lunch and was able to make a reservation during busy weekend which was a big plus in choosing to come. It has a bright ambiance and welcoming staff. I believe this is Syrian cuisine so some of the menu items I was a bit unfamiliar with when comparing usual Mediterranean restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was quite a large portion. I got the kefta kabobs with a spicy tomato salsa like sauce. It came with 4 kebabs so I had leftovers for the next day. Most places usually give 2. It also came with an interesting flatbread pizza sandwich thing on the side. I also discovered how delicious Muhammara is. It's a dip that's made with walnuts and pomegranate molasses. Highly recommend trying this if you want something different than hummus for a starter.

First time here for my mom's birthday and we left very satisfied. They have phenomenal food, ambiance, birthday dessert, and great overall service, will absolutely be returning! :)

TO GO REVIEW Take a look at my picture and you'll understand. What I ordered, the $27 ribeye wrap, does not reflect the value of what I received. It was a plate of French fries, a few pieces of greens, and a thin wrap with small cuts of beef. This place is overpriced for what I received and I would not come back.

It's only about 7 minutes from the parks, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot if you're craving something flavorful that won't leave you feeling heavy. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spinach pastry was hands down my favorite, perfectly flaky with a delicious savory filling. The potato pastry was a close second and just as satisfying. If you visit, don't skip the pastries! We also tried the steak and chicken kebab combo plate, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken was especially tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully. You can actually watch the meat being cooked fresh in the back, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic. I ordered the veggie plate with falafel, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, hummus, and tahini sauce, and every single item was delicious. The falafel really stood out. It had a perfectly seasoned, crispy exterior with a soft, flavorful center. Dipping it into the baba ganoush, hummus, and tahini made every bite even better. One of my favorite things was that the meal was incredibly satisfying without feeling greasy or overly heavy. It was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor, but I still felt great afterward. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, and the service was impressively fast. They also have a great selection of Mediterranean spices if you want to bring some of those incredible flavors home. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team. Between the fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent service, Zait Zataar has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants. I placed an online order for the baked fish plate around 12:45 PM and expected a bit of a wait since it was fish. After waiting about 25 minutes, I called and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was busy, so I understood. However, after waiting longer and checking inside twice, my order still wasn't ready and there seemed to be confusion about its status. In total, I waited close to an hour for an order that was placed online in advance. What bothered me most was seeing customers who ordered in person receive their food before me. It felt like my online order had been overlooked. If online ordering is offered, those orders should be monitored and fulfilled properly, especially during busy times. The food itself was good, but the plate could have been put together better. The fries were placed directly on top of the fish, which made them soggy and took away from the presentation. It would make much more sense to serve the fries on the side. Overall, the food is still good, but the long wait, confusion with the online order, and lack of attention to presentation make me hesitant to rely on the online ordering system again.

They say the camera eats first but not here. Since I started with the pita let's talk about it. The pita here was the best pita I've ever had. They grill it and it tastes like they make it in house. The grill leaves a slightly crisp taste around the grill marks whilst the pillowy, soft texture almost melts in your mouth. When I combined it with their hummus I genuinely forgot about everything else on the plate. I am a carnivore firstly, but I couldn't believe my mind couldn't even see past the pita. When I did bite into the mixed shawarma meats of chicken and beef I could taste the crisp char of the meat with the deeply savory flavors of interior. It was phenomenal. I can't describe it correctly. Imagine the best version of something you've only casually enjoyed now becoming a flavor that becomes so integral to your tastes. I don't think I've ever had shawarma quite like this and it's a flavor I want to try again and again. I have no qualms about saying this: I hope I find myself back in this area once more so I can have an excuse to eat here once more. If you enjoy deeply favorable tastes with highly pleasurable textures I highly recommend you eat at Shawarma House.
