Elmer and his wife came out to my condo a handful of times to clean and did a nice job for a competitive price. Why is my review 1 star? A lack of reliability/communication and ethics. Most of the cleanings had to be rescheduled last minute due to an undisclosed emergency. As long as there was communication, this is something I could live with. My final straw was a couple weeks ago - I had a cleaning scheduled which I confirmed less than 24 hours before. Around the scheduled time, I texted Elmer that our callbox was broken and asked him to text me when he arrived. After an erroneous text back stating confusion and that he was "far away", there was indefininite ghosting with no explanation. He never arrived and I didn't have time confirm an alternative option before the weekend (this was a Friday afternoon before family arrived in town for a milestone event). Stayed up half the night doing the cleaning myself. A few days later, I texted Elmer to see if he was okay and no response. Then I used my wife's phone to send a text and got an immediate response. I have all the text chains saved. I cannot in good conscience reccomend this provider. read more

I contacted this company to inquire about cleaning my carpet in 2BRs, LV room and dining room. The price was reasonable and the cleaner arrived at time agreed upon. The cleaning was done in about 2 hours. I was ok with cleaning but not the cleaning I was looking for. I needed a deep cleaning not a steam cleaning. I wanted to hire my first cleaning service after feeling overwhelmed and letting chores pile up. Elmer reached out right away and we set up a standard cleaning a few days later at a flat rate $120. I live in an apartment complex that is a mile around. I provided specific directions with photos and a map of where to go and how to find my apartment specifically. There was a major misunderstanding and the communication stopped for 30 minutes once Elmer couldn't find my apartment. My phone calls were ignored. Once we "found each other", we discussed and clarified and the cleaning went as scheduled. For a 750sqft one bed, one bath apartment, it took two hours. The kitchen included the oven and microwave (not the fridge). Elmer and his wife did not clean the bedroom upon my request (as I was working in there with my two cats). I initially asked Elmer to do some upholstery cleaning and he remembered (I didn't LOL) and given that there was water left in the tank, he did all my carpets too! Next time, I will ask the windows and window ledges to be cleaned as well. For a 'standard' cleaning, this was worth it. I don't know what I was expecting but it was much quieter, less disruptive, and smelled way better than I could imagine. I love that! While the visit started off really rocky, I'm glad it worked out because a clean home = a clean mind. I will keep them in mind for future cleaning needs. read more

I was rescheduled within an hour of our appointment time due to an emergency, which I can understand, but I was emailed the notice instead of called so I already arrived at my new home by the time I checked my email. We rescheduled for the same time next day and Elmer has been very unresponsive. It's been now over 45 minutes past our scheduled time and I still have not been able to get in contact with him.
