I have shopped at ALDI in Inglewood, but this one is easier to get to. Parking lot a big and plentiful. Store layout is nice and roomy. They don't have a large selection of items but they do have most of your household needs (soap, personal care, cleaning supplies). Things are mostly ALDI brand but they do have some name brands like Tide, Olay and Crest. If you're okay with store brand groceries, this is the place! Come here for your holiday baking needs! Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. You'll get it back when you return the cart. This keeps shopping carts out of the parking lot. read more

What's up with the poor reviews? Do you really need 20 different brands of rice or sauce or flour? I've been making the trek to the Inglewood ALDI so I'm extremely happy there's a brand new store in Gardena. The store is clean, bright, spacious, and I even found a carton of eggs for half the price (79 cents) of the eggs in Inglewood with an even later expiration date (Yes, I went to two different ALDI locations in the same day). Perhaps people don't know what to expect from ALDI. It's not a conventional grocery store. They have all kinds of hidden gems, depending on what the ALDI "Finds" are for the week. My wife and I love to shop at this location because it's easy to drive from our house and their parking lot is spacious enough to allow us to find a space. Inside, the store is clean, the isles are wide and the selections they have keep us coming back for more. We shop for food items we can't find anywhere else, plus they have more in bulk of what we need. The items are affordable and the cashiers are always helpful and friendly with what we need. Their restrooms are clean and easy to get to if the need arises. No doubt this ALDI's location is one of our favorites. It's a great store! read more

ALDI is new to the area so of course I went to explore. Walking into the store I was greeted by a friendly employee and was asked if I'd ever shopped at ALDI I informed her no, so she took the time to show me the process. She took me outside and explained that I need a quarter to get access to a shopping carts and if I need one I can always ask the cashiers. Popped my quarter in, unlocked the cart and off I went. First impression is WOW this store is spotless and what avocados for 40 cents each - yes!! I took a stroll through the entire store and saw some great deals on items I used daily but the one that stood out the most was the cost of their alkaline water - $2 vs $4 to $5 at the other larger well known grocery stores. The only drawback was lack of cashiers for the line that was forming but eventually another cashier came to assist. From fruits, veggies, dairy, meat to baked goods, spirits, wine and even toys and blankets, this store is going to be one of my first stops before I visit Ralph's or Albertsons. read more

This market is a game changer. Just take 50 dollars and see how much you walk out with...bags!They've really figured out how to cut down prices for consumers and its greatly appreciated. Key points here: Aldi is known for cutting as much overhead as possible while passing the savings to the customers and pays it's workers a good wage. So prepare, have shopping bags, and get ready to bag your grocerries. Make sure you have a quarter for the carts. Put the quarter in the slot on the right side of the cart, you'll get the quarter back when you connect it back to the chain with the rest of the shopping carts (this is again to cut costs). Aldi sells their own brands but I did find some name brands here. As for the store itself, it seems a bit small compared to the one in Inglewood. I wish there was more in terms of produce. It is a hit or miss as to what you can get but I found a good acorn squash for less than a dollar and bananas for 33 cents. Aisles are clean and wide. Expect to find a little bit of everything and for a good price. read more

This place is depressing first you have to have change so you can get a shopping cart, then you walk in and it looks like a warehouse without the wares. They dont have a lot of selections and finally you pay for your items the cashier puts it in your basket and you go to a side table take your items back out of your basket and bag it. read more

Bought some flap meat steak for about $9++ for 1.4 pounds thinking it was a great deal. When I got home to cook it that evening, it smelled a little bit like feet when I was cutting it. I figured it might be okay after I cook it. Browned the beef, and it still smelled funny. Pressure cooked the beef in my instant pot, and it STILL smelled funny. Long story short, didn't end up eating any of it (except for a few bites) because my gut was telling me it was unsafe. Really sad about this especially because it was my first Aldi trip and I was pretty excited about all the savings. read more

Such a great business!!! Very organized and clean store that allows for a nice flow for shopping. A lot of people commented that they have to "pay for a cart" it is not a payment.... all Aldi stores use this quarter method to keep their prices so low. You put a quarter in to checkout the cart and when you return it to its place like an adult you receive your entire quarter back. Although aldi doesn't have THE brands everything they carry is of very high quality I have never been disappointed with anything I've gotten from here. Its annoying having to deposit quarter for cart. (Need to make sure to carry change). You have to take your stuff elsewhere and bag. Even at food 4 less, it's less annoying then here. This store is always clean and well- stocked. I used to live by the one on Century, so I was surprised/ happy to see Claudia transferred stores. She is always super friendly with everyone, fast and efficient. She organized my groceries better than I did lol! If you shop at Aldi, doing little things like leaving the cart in an easy to reach place for the cashier/ taking your items out of the box/ having your payment ready really helps make their day easier. I used to work at one years ago lol be nice to all cashiers everywhere though. read more

What is this all the cashiers have chairs attached to there ass and barely it must kill them to move the only time they get off the chair is for breaks and to leave. I shop at ALDI three times a week and especially its just two blocks away from my home. But today (5/5/2021, I decided not to shop there anymore. I wished it were true that the ALDI in Gardena was clean. It isn't. I am not pleased to see trash and hand sanitizer wipes all over the floor after customers wiped their shopping cart. For the "customer service," I find good and friendly employees. Also, I find rude and very unfriendly employees. Have always wanted to leave the money in Gardena because I live here. Went to the store for the first time. We saw great deals, so we wanted to try it out for the first time. The store was very clean and organized but the customer service was awful. Two employees were so rude. I asked one of them if they knew the price of an item because the price was not listed, he acted like a total douche. Checked and then answer me so rude like he was in a rush or something. He was going on his lunch. I was an associate at a store once, and I always new that customer service is the number one priority. It truly sucks that this store can't reflect those same values. The second associate was the cashier. White lady with the most bitchy attitude. She was acting so rude towards my mom and even pushed our cart with the food against the wall. I was really close to leaving the food there and not paying. You don't do that to anybody. I will not let this experience stop me from going again, but if this happens again, I will not hold back this time from requesting to talk to the manager. read more

Place is okay. The veggies don't look that fresh, avocados were either too hard or complete mush, others okay, I'll see flavor wise later today with what I did grab. Variety is limited as well, this is definitely a spot you can stop in if you need something quick, but otherwise I will continue to go to the other grocery stores. I didn't see any options for organic or grass fed if you're into that. I would also like to mention that the bagging grocery part is weird, they just pop all your stuff in a grocery cart and send you off to a wall shelf to bag yourself, so people and carts just pile up at the shelf. Because the cashier she's border-lining rude, she was throwing our stuff in the cart and have to be reminded not to throw our stuff in the cart, she did not apologize nothing, you have to train your staff on how to give a proper and respectable customer service, we don't care if she's not happy we don't care she did not great us whatsoever but have some respect(properly handle)on the stuff that we are paying for! Most of the brands are unheard off, checked the labels its European. They have nice chocolates selection, the meats and vegetables seems fresh. Very limited selection.
