    Small line DEC2025

This supermarket chain has become my first to go for shopping. I always find what I am looking for and at reasonable prices. Many of the products they carry are their own brand or small companies. The quality of the fresh produce is which usually brings me in.

First time visitor and definitely will not be my last for certain items. This store is conveniently located just off of a major street (Azusa), directly across the street from a Walmart. Food choices were plentiful as everything from meats, veggies, fruits, dairy products etc.. are offered here at surprisingly affordable prices. The store appeared to be fully stocked, clean and very well organized. The only contact I had was with a cashier when I paid for all my merchandise. I don't recall ever visiting a Aldi store so I was surprised to also see tools, toys, gazebos, clothing and so much more as I was under the impression this was solely a grocery store. This was a positive shopping experience for my family and I.

Even though I have to put a quarter to get a shopping Cart. It's okay because I save money and The Customer Service is Great. I Love all my Favorite snacks especially The Turkey Patties ..Good Wine at a Cool price and The Fresh Fruit and Veggies Thank You Aldi

I was helped out by Eric, he was very helpful, super friendly, and on top of that he packed my groceries for me. The store was very cleaned and well maintained. I love grocery shopping at this store because the employees are always generous and provide a positive attitude. The vegetables and fruits are easy to find and it's very simple to navigate around the store.

    Holy Batman! Egg prices!

Aldi remains my supermarket of choice, due to convenience, distance, and prices. Target is a second close call. But I always hit up Aldi first. This particular Covina/Azusa location has a great parking lot. No matter how busy the day or time is, you can still park relatively close by. Can't say the same for the Alhambra location. That lot is a mess. Oy. Though most things are pretty darn affordable, the prices of eggs are still affected at this otherwise economical grocery shopping one shop stop. As of late, it's a whopping $5 or so a dozen. Still beats the $8 to $10 a dozen price tag at other supermarkets, though. Things that I continue to hunt for when I visit, besides what I already have written down on my list, are: Candles, wax melts, Weekly Aldi Finds, new treasures in the frozen section, whether it be sweet treats or savory meals. The most coveted item to get in late January are the pie bites! Chocolate covered key lime pie, banana cream pie, and coconut cream pie in bite sized pieces? Yes, please! Staff continues to be efficient AF! CAPTITAL AF! There is no other establishment that the register can check customers out as promptly as Aldi does. Given, this is baked into their merchandise design, with their enlarged and many bar codes on a given package box and all. But the people working at the place just understand what their assignment is. They. Just. Do. Scan scan scan. The machine goes doo doo doo. And I'm on my way. Thanks, Aldi team! And as always remember to bring a quarter to claim your shopping cart, and return the cart to get that coin back!

I finally decided to stop off at this location. I ended up really liking it. The store is clean and well stocked on most items. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and crisp as fruits and vegetables should be. Lots of variety for the kids to pick up snacks. I like the variety of cheese they have here and love the charcuterie section as well. Workers and Cashiers are always friendly, and parking is never an issue at this location.

Much better than the one located in La Puente. Better options. Fresher fruits and vegetables. Friendlier staff. Cleaner restrooms. More parking spaces. Aldi finds are awesome, be sure to check them out coz "they're here today, gone tomorrow." I've had their Norwegian Salmon once but have not seen them again. Norway has the best fish farming practices. A few of my favorites here are the Thai Coconut Curry chicken, Italian sparkling water, select vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Every so often I find the organic Alden coffee ice cream.

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

We were interest in seeing what they had in store, since we've never stopped by before. We parks on the grass field and walked towards the vendors first. We bought some fruits and vegetables from the student farm stand (what a steal!) and it was a great feeling knowing that we were supporting the Cal Poly Pomona students. The produce was grown and picked by the CPP students. We also were able to purchase honey from CPP; the honey was produced at the school and jarred by students. There were about 8 food trucks. After we took a walk around, we went into the farm store. It was packed with people and the line was snaked around the interior of the store. I've never seen so many varieties of tomato plants or this many people interested in purchasing plants. We didn't walk away with a tomato plant this time around, but perhaps next time. It was lovely experience.

Plenty of parking every single time we've gone and it's one of the few markets that still sends our house the weekly print ad, which is great! Though if you don't get it, you can always check on their website. Solid deals and it's filled to the brim in a slightly aged and slightly claustrophobic way. There's pinatas and a lot of traditional Mexican goods and dishes here. There's already pre-seasoned and sauced meats if you want to grill or cook something different at home and a good selection of produce as well. The bakery section has sliced cakes and pre-decorated cakes. There's aguas frescas, pork rinds, fresh flowers for gifts, already assembled cold cut sandwiches, fresh cut fruit, candied apples, ceviche, baked goods, and much more. There's always a couple cashiers open and even with the crowds. Everything goes thru quick. Sales are variable depending on the week so I'd definitely check out the ads first.

Compared to other similar markets, they are also more pricier which is another reason I do not shop here. The only reason I do come here is for their in-store made shrimp ceviche, tuna salad and some items they have on their prepared food menu like their mojarra frita, carnitas and maybe their torta de carne asada (once in a while) when I'm not up for cooking because im running behind on time. The ceviche is better than most markets around if you don't have time to make it yourself, or order in advance from a preferred vendor or restaurant. And they make good tuna salad. But my absolute favorites that are making my mouth water as I'm writing this review, are the mojarra and carnitas. The mojarra can be ordered as a plate or à la carte. I usually get it à la carte which comes with just the fish, lemons, salsa and a roasted pepper. But, they aren't always consistent in offering you the roasted peppers and salsa so don't forget to ask for it. Ordered as a plate it comes with rice beans and tortillas additionally. I also love their carnitas and it comes with salsa's and roasted peppers as well but it's around $19/pound . I also like their carne asada torta and better than other places or restaurants around too-comes with the same fixings. They also make and sell aqua fresca here-I think just 3-4 flavors. I love the chia flavor. They don't over sugar it here. This market also has a decent selection of Central American cheeses, kitchen pottery and makes their own fresh tortillas. They even have a little jewelry shop inside the store that sells abd repairs jewelry including gold. I've picked up cakes and other deserts from their bakery before when I'm in a jam, but not my go-to place because again, they are on the pricey side. When I first discovered this market about 5 years ago and tried their mojarra frita, I was amazed because it was like $8 à la carte for a large fish. Great price! Now it's about $12.50 and the fish is not nearly the same size-a lot smaller now. You can find some good food and other items here but you'll pay a higher price than at other markets and it's not because it's good quality either. I don't care for their butcher counter either-quality of meat lacks considering the steep price. Large parking lot and plenty of parking spaces. I believe they also have a Western Union/MoneyGram and do check cashing there too.

The bun itself was light and not too dense. - Unsweetened soy milk - The soy milk was light and the perfect consistency. It isn't thick or grainy like some other soy milks can be. - Tofu jerky - Flavorful, but not too salty. Great pairing with a bowl of rice! - Zongzi (Taiwanese style) - Delicious and light. Also not too salty or rich. The shop itself is small, but very clean and organized. The shop owner is so cute and enthusiastic about all of her products. She shared how to best store them since she doesn't use preservatives and how to heat them. There is a handwritten menu in Chinese on a board to the side of the refrigerated section. The refrigerator doors also had photos of the item with the name in English and Chinese, and the price. My fondest memories of Friday nights after school was walking around here and getting some honey stick samples, checking out the produce, and enjoying the smell of kettle corn. The farmers market evolved from a dozen tents of goods/local produce, kettle corn, petting zoo and a few food stalls to such a bustling huge community of independent owners showcasing their homemade, handmade, unique, and local items and edible goodies. Now there's inflatable rides and bouncers, a whole section of food stalls and food trucks, live music and performers, balloon animal makers, and the whole place stretches multiple blocks. The petting zoo became bigger and has pony rides, the kettle corn now has two stalls to make sure you don't miss them, and the local produce are still there with their free samples. The one thing I realized is how prices skyrocketed, you can expect to spend somewhere around 20-30$ for something at a homemade/handmade stall but the story and history they'll tell you about what your buying makes it worth the buy usually. The free samples will lure you in and you'll feel like if you don't buy something you're missing out! Even the stores that have been around for decades are open later than other days to accommodate curious passers. Unfortunately, it's sad to see the old places have gone. But it's also exciting to see new places emerge and grow. It's now a rare occasion for us to visit since it can be a bit expensive if you want to eat, play on the rides, and go into the petting zoo.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Tokyo Central yet, though I've stopped by here…read moredozens of times - my go to is their sushi tray options! They have the BEST tasting salmon sushi/sashimi all around, at this price point, even better salmon quality compared to nearby sushi restaurants in my opinion. (Our Japanese native friend also agrees.) Best part is - 20% off after 7 pm!!!! But the trays get snatched up quickly. Too bad I'm not around the area at that time, otherwise I'd make Tokyo Central my weekly run for dinner. Their Kimchi Tako Poke is another regular we get, it's so good. However, recently, the only option I saw was the Shoyu Tako Poke - and I didn't like this version one bit - too hard and the flavor is not to my liking. Will never get it again. The hot food area has quite a decent selection, priced and weight by the pound, self-served. Often around 3-4pm, you may see 20% discounted packaged hot food placed out, whatever that's leftover from the lunch rush hour. Tried it a few times, but felt most of the food is heavily dosed in MSG, so I'd be selective on what I get. They also have sashimi party trays which require pre-order. Great pricing for the quality and convenience. Overall, love their sushi selection, and it's a regular stop for us. As for the market itself, there's not as much to buy, and pricing is on the higher end. However, they have a larger selection of some products that I can't find elsewhere, and sometimes their advertised specials are decently priced.

This is my fifth Tokyo Central (TC) store I've been to in Southern California. It has all the…read moreessential groceries you would find at any other TC location: meats, seafood, produce, snacks, kitchen cookware, etc. But...This location carried a lot more merchandise, like beauty products, tote bags, and other cute things. Also grocery and refrigerated items I hadn't seen before. This location is very clean, lots of fresh bento boxes for your choosing. They have a good frozen section and many pantry items. Prices are pretty much the same as other locations. My only experience that was blah was the cashier. She was an older lady with glasses and she seemed impatient and hurried me to move my items towards her on the belt. There was only one other person behind me, so I didn't understand the rush. But it did come off slightly unfriendly. Otherwise, it was an as expected store. Lots of parking also in their lot.
