I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. But this is a business serving the public, and there should be employees who can at least communicate in basic English or someone available to assist customers who don't speak Chinese. I was so frustrated that I asked for a manager, which I have NEVER done before. Unfortunately, the "manager on duty" also struggled to communicate with me and couldn't resolve such a simple issue. This wasn't just a language barrier; it was a complete lack of customer service, communication, and management. Customers shouldn't have to stand around feeling ignored while employees point fingers at each other. Management seriously needs to address this. Absolutely unacceptable customer service.
