I was very surprised to see all of the local sauces and condiments on display. I was pleasantly greeted and it was a very pleasurable experience. There's local beef, pork, and seafood along with some very beautiful and fresh vegetables. I was also taken back to my childhood when I spotted NEHI sodas in the soda case. I will definitely be frequently this to support local farmers. I purchased a watermelon, cabbage, local pork sausage, frozen field peas, and sodas.

They had some squash, shiitake mushrooms, snapdragons & prepicked berries. The berries. They had so many ripe berries that it took about 15 minutes to pick this huge bucket. The berries are huge. These berries are super sweet, juicy and very perishable. They're perfect to eat as it or for strawberry shortcake, jam or pie. Highly recommend!!

My favorite part of my entire time was eating the cider donuts. Made fresh and they melt in your mouth. We also visited the Cider House. They have a small selection of hard cider, other beverages, & a small selection of food. I do wish they had more options for folks that can't have dairy or don't eat pork. Overall experience was cute and the staff were friendly. If you plan on doing any of the picking from any of the orchards you can be cute but be comfy. You have to purchase tickets online (no on-site sales) and it's $18.95 pp which gives you access to the apple orchard, apple tasting, hayride to the orchard, cider pressing demonstration with a fresh cider sample and access to the catch and release fishing pond. They suggest that you bring your own pole and bait. You also get to sample an apple cider slushee which was refreshing after being in the sun picking apples. If you want to pick apples, it's an additional cost based on whether you want a 1/4 peck or 1/2 peck. You have to purchase that when you purchase your event ticket. The apples that they had available were Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Fuji and a really tart apple that's good for baking (I forget the name of the apple). They also have Arkansas Black apples but they weren't ready for picking yet. We had a great time picking apples. We're from South Florida where you only see apples in the grocery store. There's a play area for the kids to run around and play. It's a fun activity, especially if you have kids.

Although this location is smaller than some other Fresh Market stores, it offers the same open-market charm as other locations (maybe even more so because the smaller size gives a more authentic market feel). I also really enjoy the ready-to-cook packaged meals for 2 or 3 (depending on age/appetite) which are very convenient for a quick home-made dinner, but also pretty tasty too. That said, I'm docking a star for one consistent issue: it's often hard to find staff on the floor who are available or eager to help locate hard-to-find items. For a new customer, that can be frustrating. The cashiers are friendly, but with only one or two usually working, asking for assistance sometimes means waiting until they've finished a line of transactions, which shouldn't be necessary in a well-staffed store. A lovely store with great offerings--but the lack of accessible customer service brings the overall experience down a bit unfortunately.
