What's going on with ALDI!!!? This store has become my go to recently and today I stopped for milk and another item. Not one gallon of milk!!!!! I noticed the price and when I went to Harris Teeter to get the milk it was the same price as posted in ALDI!! The shelf was empty where the other item I wanted was. At least this store is better kept than the other one. Will try again in the future before I give up on ALDI read more

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Marissa. An Aldi addict. Since being introduced to this store, I frequent about twice a week for produce, snacks, weekly aldi finds and anything marked down on clearance. Aldi has the best grocery prices period. You won't find a better deal. You can stick to a budget and still fill your fridge which is unheard of during this time or high inflation. Aldi sells everything. Their weekly find aisle has something for everyone. I enjoy the variety of wines, cheeses and ground coffee. Their store brands feature some of your favorite brand named duplicates. This location is extremely organized. I recently visited for a pair of jeggings that were a weekly find. They had plenty in stock and many sizes and colors. This store has a large and spacious layout. Staff was excellent and there were no long lines. read more

Stop by without a grocery list. Picked a few pantry items vegan tomato sauce, garlic & herb rice crackers. I also purchased an English cucumber, spring mix, and frozen pineapples, which concluded my purchase. The store was clean and organized. I received pleasantries from the staff during checkout. Overall, good experience. There isn't much to brag about outside of the good price point. read more

Big, bright and clean, with wide aisles and great prices make this ALDI on Kildaire Farm Road a fun place to grocery shop. A lot of their items aren't name brands; they're ALDI's brands, and that's what makes the prices so good. On a recent Saturday afternoon, the shelves were fully stocked with lots of fall-inspired choices. The store was practically empty, though, when the store on the other side of the strip was packed. I hope people realize it's here. They have a lot of great deals on produce, canned goods, meat, dairy and wine. You deposit a quarter for the cart (you'll get it back), and you need to bring your own bags. read more

Love an Aldi!!! Pay a quarter for the cart until you return it. In between you'll save on fresh produce, seasonal favorites, a wide variety of meats, great selection of cheeses, more dairy, canned foods, frozen foods, inexpensive but good wines, and so much more! How can you not love ALDI !! This store is next door to my gym and I am on cloud 9 about the location !!! I can literally walk here any morning after I workout. Aldi has the freshest and best prices on their produce. They don't have a huge selection but what they do have is great. They have their own brands so if you are a brand snob or into everything organic this may not be the store for you. Bring your own bags and come with a quarter of you will need a shopping cart. I would recommend stopping in for a great selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses at very reasonable prices. read more

I'm familiar with Aldi but had never been to this location before. Just happened to be in the area and popped in to grab a few things. This location is actually a bit more spacious than the one I usually frequent. The layout was a little different so it took me a while to find what I was looking for. Like other Aldi's, their produce isn't necessarily the freshest but their prices on all their items are really good, and they're usually very efficient in checking you out. read more

For kitchen necessities, I come here first. Then hit up Trader Joe's in the same shopping center! There's great affordable vegan options. Good amount of organic products. Soy, almond, oat milk. Veggie dogs, Italian sausages. Faux chicken patties. I like that I can buy a bag of organic, fair trade coffee beans for $4! That's unheard of anywhere else!! This is also my favorite Aldi location in Wake county lol. It's very clean, very friendly staff, and super close to Trader Joe's! read more

I placed an on line order with Aldi for the first time through insta-cart. My delivery was for between 4-5pm. Delivery turned out to be 7-7:30pm. When I texted the driver he stated that he would be there as soon as possible. Thirty minutes later the app showed that my groceries had been delivered. I opened my front door only to find that my groceries had been left out of view from my door. Anyone could have walked off with my groceries. Driver's are supposed to knock on your door and deliver groceries in hand. I won't be shopping on-line with Aldi anymore. read more

Nasty place. I've shopped at the Aldi on 55 many times, and always liked it. I was in the neighborhood of the Kildaire Farm one, so popped in. What a difference--not in a good way. The first thing that struck me was the smell of spoiled food. The store was small, but given the location that's to be expected. But, perhaps because of the smell, it didn't seem clean. Also, there was something nasty all over the floor in front of the only open cash register. Rather than clean it up, or even move the sole cashier to another station, they poured kitty litter over the spill. There was no avoiding that mess in order to check out. I love ALDI but this location isn't my favorite. Due to the proximity to NCSU, I've noticed that they don't get some of the nicer ALDI special buys or regular foods more upscale ALDI locations get and it's a bit more disorganized than the Maynard Road ALDI store. This ALDI is, however, located in the same shopping center as a Trader Joe's, veeery convenient for getting things ALDI doesn't carry (e.g., tofu, fresh parsley, dairy free yogurt, nice eggs). I highly recommend ALDI's produce, unsweetened and chocolate versions of almond milk, organic chicken and beef, aged cheeses, Broken Clouds Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and selected gluten free products (chicken nuggets, hot pocket sandwiches, mac'n'cheese, and the reformulated wide pan whole grain bread). I will not buy my eggs at ALDI (taste terrible and the animals are treated poorly) or coffee (prefer low acid dark roast which is not the organic fair trade option at ALDI from Chiapas). read more

Aldi on Kildaire is a very strange store, that makes me feel like maybe it's some kind of military store in a foreign country, there is typically only one of any item. Like toothpaste. One choice, take it or leave it. One off brand of anything, flour, sugar, green beans, just one discounted budget brand of everything. Which is ok it you don't care, but I am picky. Their Simply Nature organic eggs are not really organic if you read up on the internet, they meet the rules but it's not the real deal. The people that work at this location are rude and never have more than one lane running. They have the window into the office mirrored so you can't see who is in there that could be helpling check some folks out. And if you have a return, there is no customer service, you can ask for help from any employee in the store, they will tell you go get in that one long line with the other losers. Sometimes the prices are not marked correctly on items like bags of salad. I was overcharged. It took them five minutes to discover that indeed, the price was marked incorrectly, eventually it was confirmed by the same dude that I had asked originally what to do and he told me to go get in the line. Rude. And every cashier has different rules they tell you to do, all because they are putting your groceries into a cart that you are supposed to push over to the wall before you start bagging them with your own bags. I learn a different way to get my groceries, every time I go there. One guy said give me your bag, and he placed the groceries into the bag, gee that was convenient. If they put your bag inside the cart, it's no more effort to just put the groceries into the bag. Now usually I only have three or four items. Where do you think the cashier puts them? In the cart right where the baby's sit and diapers leak. Toxic waste and probably not cleaned for months. They want you to get your groceries out of their way, so they rudely start holding the next person's groceries over yours, like, I am so gonna crush your eggs if you don't get them now. The Fresh Salmon they have is not wild caught Pacific. It's the cheaper Atlantic farm raised with antibodies and if you read up on that you won't be buying it. read more
