The worst part is watching these employees run around doing EVERYTHING. You can clearly see how stressed and overwhelmed the employees are, yet they continue working hard trying to get everyone through the lines. Meanwhile, customers are standing around irritated and complaining because they have to wait forever just to pay for their groceries. I've personally gotten so frustrated with the wait that I've left my cart in the aisle and walked out. No grocery shopping trip should be this frustrating on a regular basis. I've heard there is new management at this location, and if that's true, something clearly isn't working. From a customer's perspective, the store seems to be getting WORSE, not better. Cutting staff or failing to schedule enough people and then expecting the few employees who are there to pick up all the slack is terrible management. And to be clear, I DO NOT blame the cashiers or other employees. They are actually the reason I feel compelled to write this review. They deserve better. If they're expected to perform the duties of multiple positions, I sincerely hope they're being paid accordingly. Management needs to stop putting the burden on a handful of hardworking employees and actually do their job by properly staffing and running this store. Customers are frustrated, employees look exhausted, and the overall experience has gone downhill. Stater Bros, DO BETTER. Your employees and your customers deserve much better than this.

Often, I stop by to grab a $4.99 "make your own" sandwich which is a very good deal. Today, I had a mixed experience. I bought a turkey sandwich, a small size ready-to-eat chicken noodle soup and 3 cans of Olipop soda. The sodas had a sign reading "3 for $5". I paid approximately $17. As I left the store, I immediately looked at my receipt and noted they charged me full price for the sodas. I went back in and they discovered that the promotional price had expired but that the staff hadn't removed the signs yet. They refunded me the difference so I'm glad I caught the error. They then removed the promo price signs so other customers wouldn't think there was a sale like I did. I then drove to the work office to eat my lunch. I opened the sandwich and noticed it was slathered with mayo which I didn't request nor do I like. They have this form at the deli counter which you have to fill out with check boxes for bread, meat, veggies and condiments. I checked off "mustard" and hand wrote in "on both sides". I decided to drive back to the store (which was an inconvenience) and told the deli counter about the mayo. I acknowledged that "mistakes happen" and that I was a regular customer, and I'd appreciate if they would make me "whole". The deli person made me a fresh sandwich and instructed me to go to a cashier to request a refund. I did that and I was appreciative of the fact that they didn't argue, apologized for the mistake and did something corrective (i.e. I got the refund with no argument). I'm giving this a 4 out of 5 rating because while I was inconvenienced, I feel they handled my complaint in a fair and proper manner and for that I feel satisfied. I will continue to remain a customer of Sprouts. I always believed that while mistakes can and do happen in every business, what's really important is how a company handles those mistakes. If they take accountability and work with their customers to address issues, I'm inclined to continue to do business with them since they show they value the patronage.

This 5 star rating is not only for our store, but for our valued customers who shop here. Throughout the years, I have come to know many of you on a personal level. Lifelong friendships have developed. We have shared family stories, furkid stories, and losses. All are part of this journey called life. If you are having a bad day, I have tried to bring a modicum of humor into your life. Once I see a smile on your face then I know you are feeling a bit better. To all our military veterans, police officers and fire fighters, thank you for your service, and thank you for choosing our store to shop. In the last two months I have had to send two of my furkids, Shadow and Kali, to Rainbow Bridge. You offered your support and generous hugs. I am forever grateful. I had a frustrating experience at this Albertsons and wont be returning anytime soon. The store advertises discounts that require you to use digital coupons by scanning a barcode into their App, which is an unnecessarily annoying process. If you're already in the store trying to checkout, having to stop, open the App go back to where you got the items & scan a barcode to get the advertised price is inconvenient & customer-unfriendly. What made the experience even worse was the self-checkout clerk. Instead of being helpful, he scolded me over the coupon process & came across condescending & dismissive. Customer service should make shopping easier, not leave customers feeling talked down to. They're plenty of other grocery stores that treat customers with respect & don't make simple discounts so difficult to redeem. I recommend shopping elsewhere Do Better Albertsons! read more

A few days ago after shopping at Albertsons in Tustin, my husband returned to his car and the car would not start. He did not have his phone and went into the store to ask to use the phone. He spoke with employee Stacey McKay who let him borrow her phone to call AAA. While waiting outside for AAA, Stacey came out to check on his progress and brought him a bottle of cold water; it was a very hot day. My husband learned the car would have to be towed the next morning when our mechanic's shop was opened. He asked Stacey if the car could stay overnight in the parking lot. She assured him she would inform the overnight manager to be aware of the circumstances. Stacy could not have been more kind or helpful in this stressful situation. I've been shopping at this store for years. The service is always nice, (occasionally I'll get a cashier who barely acknowledges my presence, but that's unfortunately common everywhere nowadays). Most of the time I try to chit chat with the cashiers and maybe joke a bit and have a nice time with them because I know they have a hard job. But, if you want a (((( guaranteed )))) smile-inducing cashier experience, jump into Maria's line. Every time I go through her line she is always so sweet, so personable, and full of smiles, she just makes my shopping experience end on a really great note. I have a horrible memory for names, but Maria is quite memorable for all the right reasons and deserves plenty of kudos! read more

I ordered two birthday cakes was suppose to be with fresh fruit and fresh filling wrote on the order Pick them up and paid for them ,went to our kids birthday when we unwrapped the box we see nothing about fresh fruits. Then i saw Gelson's nut then bags and then I figured out im in Gelson's. I didnt know Gelson's has this type of cool store! While I was charging my car, i was shopping and enjoying my time. Frank was also very helpful, and both employees truly went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. This store has a great selection, and the two times I've visited, it's been clean and organized. The only downside is that it's located in an area where there are often people hanging around outside. That said, everyone has always minded their own business, and it hasn't affected my shopping experience. Overall, I'd only recommend this store, because of their customer service and deals.

I noticed it wasn't applied to my total since I qualified for it pre-tax. Went back inside and asked the cashier up front who has a lip piercing in the middle of her bottom lip that I noticed it wasn't applied and she looked really annoyed that I even asked that and goes "what do you want then?" I think she noticed that I got taken back by her response by my nervous laugh and she went to grab someone. He was nice had a Donald Duck tattoo but to be honest I had a feeling her was going to back her up. I read the disclaimer for the coupon and he said it was because of the Red Bulls but it's applied before to them just no alcohol, milk and tobacco. He offered to call to confirm but I just wanted to get out of there so I said no thank you and just left.
