Great location, always clean, well-stocked, friendly. The evening team here are helpful and professional. Randy is a super chill guy. There was a handicapped person during the last minutes of closing who had trouble with different payments, and he was very patient and professional the entire time. His supervisor and their team seem to always run things and do their job well. The daytime crew are pretty cool too, the few times I've gone there in the day time. There are also 2 EV charging stations, I believe are free. While the good prices bring me in, the friendly people give it a welcome reason to come back. I can't say enough about the wonderful service that you have to offer at this specific Albertsons. I can't ever remember walking into the store and not seeing the beautiful smiles coming for your team. I have my Framers insurance office that is in close proximity to your store so u can imagine how often I visit. I congratulate you on all the lovely people who work at your store. Michele P was my cashier at Tustin Albertson's on Newport Ave. Before it was my turn she had a customer that had difficulty using the Albertson's app. The line was long, but Michelle was extremely kind to the customer asking the right questions to address the issue while being efficient to handle the issue as soon as she could, but most importantly she was kind. When it was my turn at the register, I told Michelle that I was extremely impressed how she handled herself, the professional way and the compassionate way she helped the customer have a great experience even when he was having issues. I would like to thank Janny, Produce supplier, from the Newport Ave. store in Tustin. I shopped there yesterday to purchase some salad kits that were on sale. There was little to choose from as it was explained to me that the shipment of salads had just arrived and yet to be unloaded from the back of the store. I expressed my disappoint at having to leave and return at a later time. A major inconvenience for my husband and I, who are seniors. Janny was extremely sympathetic and so very kind and helpful. In no less than 10 minutes, he wheeled out cartons of the salads that had just been delivered and got me all the types I specifically wanted. To say that he went greatly above and beyond would be an understatement. Thank you, Janny, for you assistance and kindness. So greatly appreciated. Well lit, and clean store featuring lots of name brand processed, prepackaged, canned and boxed food, logically arranged in wide aisles. Produce is ok but also on the pricy side. This is a classic grocery store that could be anywhere in America. There is a pharmacy drive through which is very convenient. You can get covid tests and shots at the pharmacy. They have a nice over the counter section. Staff mostly masked, patrons mostly not. Overall, if you need the big box of Captain Crunch, (which I adore, but can't eat anymore) totally come here, they got you covered. If you are a vegan looking for specialty gluten free, keto, vegan "meat" and "cheese" products... not so much. It's just not that kind of grocery store. No recommendation. read more

I have always liked to shop at Vons/Albertson's however, recently trying to get the sales with the digital coupons is in my opinion ridiculous. It's very time-consuming and especially for senior citizens or someone who has had a stroke nearly impossible to see and then also put it in your cart and then have to scan it !!! Staffs there are very friendly and helpful. Especially Randy. He has been working there for a long time, and whether it's a rainy days, sunny days, good days or bad days.. I still think of Albertson's as Lucky's Market. I grew up shopping at Lucky's, and now I shop at Albertson's. There are some exceptional employees at the Tustin location, people who are super stars at customer service EVERY TIME I go there, which is a lot! The super stars are Maria, Patty, Sherry, Adolfo and Vickie. The other employees are great, too. The store has a good selection of goods, prices are good, sales are important! Albertson's, or Alber-pucky's as we call it, is a great place to shop. Having the pharmacy there is a bonus as well. Now that they stock chocolate Tillamook ice cream, life is good!! read more

Today when I went into the store, I was looking for fresh cut chicken cooked and ready to toss in a salad . and I saw it on the deli and the container had chicken but was chopped up to extra small pieces. where chicken they were small pieces so I went to the service deli and looked there. Didn't see anything. I was standing there thinking what I could do. An employee who looked like she was probably going on a brake or into the back of the store. She could've just kept walking but she made it a point to stop and come over to me and asked me if I needed help. I told her about the chicken being in really small cuts. She smiled and said she could go look in the service deli and see what she could do. She came out and said if I have time she can cut up some chicken for me. I was very impressed she offered to help, for she could of just keep on walking. I continued shopping and came back and Julia had my chicken chopped up as I liked and ready to go!! Store is great Deli is horrible. I live right behind and go all the time. You have to get better at managing the fried chicken. When you go in at 3pm and the chicken has obviously been sitting all day dried up shoe leather. Really sad cause when its fresh its really good. My husband and I live in Lynwood and work in Santa Ana, however when it's time to restock and get food, we don't even entertain the idea of shopping in Lynwood anymore, we specifically come to THIS Albertsons. This Albertsons is always clean and has the friendliest staff. Their bakery is the best. We have gotten all our cakes from here for the past 5+ years and they are delicious. Our favorites are: chocolate with fudge center, white sponge cake with fresh strawberry filling or the white cake with raspberry jam layered cake. I just fell on some spilled shit and was treated like crap when my husband went to tell them to clean it up better and that I fell. You could tell someone half assed wiped it down instead of actually drying it. Wasn't till another manager saw me limping out did she act like she cared. They were so rude I didn't want to fill out there bs paperwork, but u will be hearing from my lawyer. The first manager copped an attitude and threatened to kick my husband out because he was upset with the lack of giving a shit. I'll post pics of the bruises when they come up tomorrow. Edit: see the response from the manager... No sorry or anything, just more rudeness. We only told them about the fall so they would clean it up and no one else would fall. On two separate occasions we purchased taco shells & both times the shells were stale even though they were not near shelf life. Not sure what type of quality checks or stocking they have but definitely not fresh at all. Also their pricing is substantially higher than nearby grocery stores which is insane as they carry similar brands. read more
