If someone can't answer, they always seek out someone who can. Another example of being helpful- I bought a Malbec and during checkout, they asked if I tried a particular brand (which I can't recall). He left his station to grab it just so I can see the label and recommend the brand to try if I enjoy Malbecs. Naturally, I ended up buying it, which was really good. read more

I needed to pick up a few things, and I always love shopping at Trader Joe's because they have affordable organic fruits and veggies. They also have a wide variety of snacks and sweet treats. I really enjoy walking the aisles, discovering new products, and trying different things. The only downside is the parking situation, when you need to exit, it can get pretty hectic with impatient cars driving on the wrong side, almost causing accidents. So just be cautious when leaving. Every Sunday morning, I wake up early just to go shop at Trader Joe's. At a time when prices are high everywhere, I really appreciate that Trader Joe's makes grocery shopping so affordable. Not only that, but their store items are the best! They make cooking easy on busy nights, and snacking so enjoyable. A few of my favorite items: Trader Joe's PB & J frozen sandwiches Olive & Thyme Bread (so good with their Barrata Cheese & Honey) Cinnamon & Sugar Almonds (my sweet tooth weakness) Pancake Mix (Ube Mochi mix is the best!) Mac & Cheese Bites Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola (with milk) Pastry Pups Orange Chicken Lacey's Cookies They just got fall items in, and I'm so excited to try their Apple spread. This Trader Joe's in particular is always organized and the workers are so friendly. There is no other store I'd rather be on a Sunday morning to prepare for my week ahead. read more

The good: -Lots of creative, atypical, yummy grocery items better than most supermarket equivalents - Mostly friendly, helpful staff - good prices on dairy, eggs, and staples like honey, pasta, spices, snacks, etc. - Awesome seasonal, ethnic goods - Mostly cool employees The bad: Their bags - especially if you have milk and the bag handles rip off The packaging - some items like blister peanuts are in cheap plastic bags and need to be stored in another container after opening. I have been a Trader Joe's customer since the mid 80's (at their former Santa Ana location on Main St.) Have always loved their many unique, value for the money and delicious items. Having traveled to many of their locations from the Bay Area to Las Vegas, and most OC locations, this is one of my favorites. First, the parking is decent except for the busiest times (Sundays, before holidays), etc. TJ's parking is never that easy but some locations in LA and the valley require driving around the parking lot several times and fight for a space. Here, you might have to park farther way but never is there no parking like some locations. My last few experiences were quite good with the cashiers and stock people. Whenever I've asked where an item was, the stocking employee walked me to the exact place it was. Sometimes they ask how my day has been going and have a pleasant small talk without hindering me or the line behind. The last time I bought some eggs, the cashier noted a barely visible small crack in an egg carton. I was the only one in line and the next thing I knew, another carton of perfect eggs replaced the one I had. Some items I have been buying for years, especially the frozen items like pork bun (theirs does not have red dye), shumai (sp), pot stickers, Belgian Waffles. tamales, etc. Love their many types of honey and maple syrups, too as well as the salsas and pastries (have visited some oi their contractor salsa and bakeries), and Honey Greek yogurt for $1. I like their blister peanuts except occasionally the peanuts are stale which I attribute to the packaging. I have tried all of their potato and corn chip items but my nutritionist has convinced me to cut out most of the seed oil fried items. One item I will stop buying is their delicious cocoa powder. It was tested high for lead content. I didn't know this until recently but you can buy a single can of beer that's usually in a six pack. The last one I tried was a German lager which was $1.79 for a tall can. How can you ship that from Germany at that price? Props for them on their seasonal and hard to find items. I enjoy trying the many candies and other desserts like King Bread celebrating Mardi Gras and Christmas items. I found some Kushu tangerines which you typically can't find because they're so delicate. Overall, am a huge fan. One thing I personally enjoy are the many you tube videos of the vloggers finds at TJ's. They keep me up on the newer items. read more

I love this store because of their great customer service and fresh flowers. The shelves are always organized and everyone is very friendly. I stopped by last minute so they were only had one almond milk left, the brand that I wanted and i ended up to get other one...Also, i got dozen of dark yolks egg (my fav one) and its Trader Joes cage free egg...Its very delicious! This store is busy so its normal that they are out for some items...Overall, store was clean and full...Ambiance was chill and its always fun in register. I always have feeling every single of the employees know everyone and even if they don't know you get the feeling you are local and not a number in their store. read more

This Trader Joe's is conveniently located in a plaza next to Michael's, a swim school, and some restaurants. There were plenty of parking. There were many customers inside on a Saturday afternoon. It's peonies season! They are currently around $10 per bunch. That's the first thing I noticed - the flowers. Usually, the flower selection is limited later in the day because a lot of it is bought in the morning. However, it looked like they were well stocked. I came here to grab some snacks for a get together. They had a wonderful selection of dips and crackers. The dips ranged around from $2-$5 and varied depending on the brand. I got the carmelized onion, cheddar, spinach and kale greek yogurt, and buffalo chicken dip. They all tasted unique. My personal favorite was the buffalo chicken dip with the mild heat and tanginess. For crackers, they carried naan, whole wheat, soda crackers and more. The cashier lines are very quick and efficient, some of the friendliest customer service from a grocery store. In short, if I would definitely come back here to shop for snacks and flowers. read more

4.5 stars Funnily enough, we have been to this plaza countless times over the years for Cafe Rio, but have never been to any of the stores (i.e. Trader Joe's, 85C Bakery) until a few days ago. This Trader Joe's (TJ's) is one of the biggest that we have been to. I am not a fan of the parking lot, as it is all one way aisles, and with only one main exit with stoplights. The staff are all very friendly, as with all TJ's locations and the layout is also similar to all other TJ's locations so it is very easy to locate what you are looking for. If not, there are employees all over the floor so one could flag them down to ask. The shelves were well-stocked and employees were constantly restocking as we were shopping. TJ's always offers seasonal items and it is such a treat to see them back in stock. The store is well lit and we love the convenience of restrooms for their customers as well. Prices are always reasonable. Almost all the registers were open and we were helped quickly. read more

I walked in for "just eggs." Left with 3 kinds of cheese I can't pronounce, a Himalayan lavender candle, organic dried mango I'll pretend is healthy, and emotional stability. The employees? So chipper it makes me suspicious. One guy saw me staring at the freezer section for too long and just whispered, "Go with the orange chicken. You deserve it." I almost cried. The sample station? This Trader Joe's is conveniently located about a mile from where I live. The staff was friendly, and the store was clean. I prefer to go first thing in the morning with my toddler because it's not crazy busy, and my daughter isn't so rambunctious. She liked the stickers she got at the checkout. It made her day, so thank you. If you want Hash Brown Patties at this location, you have to come early. They always sell out fast, like once it's put out, they're gone immediately. I saw the man stocking them, so after he was finished, I swooped in and got three. I never get one anymore because they're hard to get. Other than my usual items I buy, I tried two new items - Ube Coated Joe Joe's and Trail Mix Crackers. You can't go wrong with Ube and Joe Joe's. Sounds like a yummy combination. I can't wait to try it. On the other hand, the Trail Mix Crackers intrigued me because it's unusual. read more

I just moved back to the area and hadn't been to this location yet. Parking here is much better than their prior Tustin location. It is a nice big store. I made the mistake of shopping midday on a Saturday though. Place was a zoo compiled of shoppers and workers stocking shelves. They had everything I was looking for and more! It's my first time going to this Trader Joe's. It was so many people! Can someone tell me if this Trader Joe's is always so busy on Sunday late afternoon or is it because everyone buying Valentine's Day gifts? We got the whole week's grocery here( fruit, veggies, meat, and snack). After I tried for 2 days, I would say their food quality is 12 out of 10, not only organic but also very fresh. Last week I got a bug-interested bag of reduced salt cashews at this TJ's. I had opened the bag two days earlier and put into a clean screw to jar. While snacking on them later, I saw a niseeum like insect for past, then as teaching for another cashew, saw another bug crawling on top of the nuts. Great service & food selection! Fresh produce & very friendly & helpful workers. Recently remodeled so more inventory added! I love their theme - Managers are called Mates, Workers are Crew members & I think they call the head manager the Captain! They do offer some prepared foods for quick easy meals & salads, etc. My favorite sections of the store are their cards & flowers including orchids & cut flowers & succulents. Besides looking at all the new goodies and grabbing my usual faves, I will specifically come here for the chicken, milk, and water -- especially being a student teacher on a budget right now. Trader Joe's service is always tip top and I love just walking the aisles, funny as it sounds. One thing I miss about it though is the fresh coffee samples. It just made the shopping vibes complete. This location has a better parking situation than the Santa Ana and Orange locations. I was in town and picked up a few cheeses and their candied pecans for a charcuterie board. Their candied pecans are addicting and aside from the regular charcuterie cheeses their beer cheese is REALLY good. It's spreadable cheddar cheese and this is also addicting as well. They were fully stocked with all of the things I needed and checkout was very fast. read more
