I have been going to this store for over 10 years. Love everyone in the store. I love Hank! But one employee told me a fib. Im always asked whats my phone number and when I give it I get some a discount off. But when I went to Debi's line, she never asked me for my phone number. When I asked her can I give her my phone number she said they dont do that they always give the best price the first time and the phone number was only for gas only. I said okay and left. That was last week. This week a very nice young man helped me and I gave him my number and like always.... I got a few dollars discount. I told him about my experience with Debi I did not say her name, and he said wow thats crazy. I saw her today and she looked unhappy and never smiles. I dont think Ill go back to her line. read more

This place used to be great, but the service is non existent. I went in for a few things, including some frozen sliced strawberries for strawberry shortcake. After going up and down every frozen display case, all I could find were the frozen unsweetened strawberries. I couldn't find anybody to ask for help. I saw one employee walking by, but she either didn't hear me or ignored me since she was heading to her break. I finally went up to the customer service desk. Nobody was there, so I stood there, figuring somebody would come. A few cashiers looked at me, but nobody said a word. After almost five minutes of standing there with no help, I walked out without purchasing anything. I thought maybe I had somehow turned invisible, but when I went across the street to Stater Bros., I was actually greeted. read more

I have been coming to this grocery store since I moved to Temecula as a child in 2001. It's my go-to. I like the staff, and the selection of items is just what I need! Nowadays, they occasionally have little displays set up with free samples of different foods. But yesterday, the staff really went above and beyond. I'm 6 months pregnant, and my current craving/food fixation is this specific type of pre-sliced apples. (The "O" Organics brand of sweet apple slices, don't buy them because I'm probably on my way to pick up more of them) I ran in yesterday morning around 10/10:30 to replenish my apple stocks, and they were OUT OF THEM! I went up to two different employees as they were stocking the produce section, hoping against hope that there would be some in the back. The staff members were so friendly and immediately dropped what they were doing to help me with my apple-emergency. They found a whole box of them! I left the store so happy, and you KNOW I ate those apples on the drive home. Thank you, Albertsons. read more

So after a long day at work I decided to stop in at my local Albertson's to pick up a few things. I went through the store picking up the necessities of what I needed as I do time after time after time. As I got to the front I'm always used to waiting in line it's really never a big deal whatsoever there was only one checker working but there was another checker on the express lane. I knew I couldn't go into the express lane because I had way more than 10 items. So I waited patiently in line as I was standing there a cashier went to the lane next to me and opened up that lane not asking me if I wanted to come over and check out early. I thought oh well no big deal . As The checker said hello I walk to the keypad and she said to me very abruptly put your phone number in. So I did as I always do she then said do you need me bags and I said oh yes I'm sorry I forgot to bring mine in no big deal. The The bagger looked at me without a smile just a stare. Then the checker says very rudely you have two sets of avocados you mix them up I believe one is organic and one is not. I said I did buy two different kinds of avocados because one was cheaper the other and I didn't put the other one back I decided to keep them both. She did nothing. I just have to say her rudeness is not what I needed at the end of the day I'll go back to shopping all the time at the Albertson's on Winchester you really need to talk to your employees to not take out the aggressions on their clients read more

I wanted to commend the Temecula CA store (Hwy 79 and Margarita) on their set up for keeping employees and customers safe during this pandemic. The store set up - managing customer flow, protections in place, masks, gloves, barriers. I am very impressed and for the first time I went to a grocery store where I didn't leave feeling extremely anxious and stressed. There are some VERY friendly employees and everyone is great with my 2 year old. But my frustration is through the roof over buying expired products and the negative reaction I have gotten from employees when trying to return them. One time I tried to return expired whipping cream. It's best buy date was the day I bought it and I hadn't noticed. But I sure noticed when I went to use it the next morning and the container was bloated and misshapen. I took it straight to the store. I couldn't find the receipt, but I tried. I got so much flack for trying to return it. It was almost comical since the unfriendly woman was dressed like a monopoly character. The man who had helped me at checkout the day before vouched for me. So today I went there with an expired tube of pre-mixed cookie dough and my receipt. I bought it yesterday but it expired 4 days ago. I understand that's not "too bad" but it's more the principal of it. Why would I buy expired foods? My husband, daughter and I all went to the back fridge to grab another (not expired) cookie dough. There were 9 tubes in the fridge of the store brand (which was the brand we were brining back). Seven of them were expired. We brought them to the front and spoke to Mark. He couldn't give less of a care. He asked why we didn't talk to the guy in the back and told us that "it only expired a few days ago." He was clearly annoyed that we brought him all the expired tubes. He told us to take a non-expired tube and when we tried to engage him further he walked away from us. I may try calling the store director but judging by the way his employees act when expired items are pointed out he's not going to care either. This Albertson's is located in a very hectic shopping center. I'm not a fan of the exterior parking due to its overall lack of feng shui. But if you can somehow navigate to a decent parking spot and not get hit by on-coming traffic, then this is the market for you. While Henry's and Trader Joe's may posses those quality snacks and foodie finds, Albertson's has everything that you need. Their beer and alcohol selection is very decent as well as their cheeses. The produce is a little on the expensive side. For that you'll need to go to Henry's or a farmer's market. What I like most about this store is the self-checkout. I love self-checkouts! This store is a rip off. They force you to use their app to get the just for U digital coupons, and after you enter it in your phone, it never takes it off the total even if you ask the cashier if did they just lie and say yes. After walking away I look at the receipt to find it didn't. Then I have to go to customer service to get a refund. They act like you don't know your own phone number and you put it in wrong. This has happened repeatly for the last few months. So beware if you are using their app for coupons and watch out chances are they wont work. read more

This is our go to store. The produce is fresh, they make the bakery items right there. The store is clean and the employees are helpful. They open up additional check out lanes when there are more than 3 people in line so I don't wait to check out too long. They always give my son a sticker which he loves. He also loves that they have carts that are like cars for him to "drive" around the store. Prices are a little higher on some things but to me the convenience and freshness of the products makes it worth it. read more

The clerks are always very nice, and everyone at the store is very helpful whenever I have a question about where things are located around the store. I especially love the Starbucks here -- friendly folks and still upbeat even when they have lines out the door. I bought some cheese the other day on November 22 of 2021and noticed the expiration date was May of 2021. When I was about to use it . I returned it and was going to get another one but they were all expired. One of the clerk named Ronda even walked me to the aisle to look and I guess to see for herself and offered me an Albertsons gift card but I preferred cash. The sad part is she gave me a refund of their sales price even though I told her it wasn't on sale. She said I don't my receipt so she has to give me whatever it's ringing up as. I told her I don't have the receipt because I didn't realize that the cheese had been expired since May and I even showed her another cheese from the rack with the same date. She told me to wait but to me it's annoying because It's not my fault that they're selling expired items. Instead of finishing me up, she told me to wait and helped another customer but I told her never mind because I didn't see the point in waiting if that was how I was going to get treated. read more

Like more than once I've got the impression like they feel I shouldn't be there bothering them for something. The produce is like ready to expire when you buy it. The prices are rather insane for a lot of items. The seafood counter has the least fresh seafood ever. High pricing for mediocre quality and rude employees. Worst place to get a vaccine. We stood in line and were told "go walk around and we'll call your number when ready." We walked around and noticed people lining up to get the vaccine. I asked the person at the front what number the lady was on, and he said "oh it's just the order you are lined up." I went back to Sylvia, the pharmacist and she tried to make me feel stupid and said "they are calling numbers." I did not hear the lady not once call a number, and I was standing right by the vaccination table! Sylvia was rude and this pharmacy is unorganized. The nurse vaccinating people was just assuming people were lining up in order of the number they were assigned. We had to ask someone in line if we could go in front of them because our assigned numbers were before theirs. Others were getting frustrated as well and the line got really long. Avoid coming here for the covid-19 vaccine. Sylvia needs to stand there and see for herself that no one is calling numbers. She was rude and has no clue what is going on. I do want to add that the woman administering the vaccines is very nice and reassured me that I wouldn't feel the needle (and I didn't). She made the experience tolerable. In the future, I think this location needs to have someone actually shouting out the number of who is next, that way people do not feel the need to stand in line and crowd around the area. read more

So I go in and see a great sale and I stock up on what I need for the holidays and I head over to the register and some guy named Mark says "we don't hand out discount cards" because what was on the screen is different than what the ad says. So I said excuse me this isn't my first purchase here I know what the ad says so either it's false advertisement or your price on the register needs to change. So he has this attitude and says go online and join with the card that you have but obviously doesn't work even though I got a new card a week ago. I said so I'll lose my place in line. Well yeah because they need to be helped. Well of course I got annoyed and I felt completely disrespect and it was a little racist with the tone that I was receiving. I came here for lip balm. They didn't have my brand... then when I asked one of the clerks to apply the off brand chapstick for me they looked at me like I was insane. What really shines at this store is the outstanding meat department! If you come on Tuesday afternoons you can catch all the meat boys doing some outstanding knife throwing. Forget Benihana! Any way you slice it or dice it ( knife pun intended) these guys rock. The chicken was cut to perfection and definitely worth the salmonella I gave to myself as well as my entire family!
