Stopped by this afternoon to inquire about a cake I wanted designed for my birthday. I waited over 10 minutes and I'm still trying to figure out why. Because the store was as deserted as the Mojave Desert. No one was in the store or near the bakery department for that matter. When the female baker finally decided to walk to the front. She was VERY RUDE, uninterested and non chalant. Her attitude was NASTY! I proceeded to ask my questions because my feelings aren't easily hurt. But I operated off energy, good or bad. This bakers energy was so fool when she told me they don't design what I wanted. I said okay. She proceeded to tell me what they did offer, but I interrupted her and said there is no need to continue have a nice day. (*smile) I probably would have changed the design of my cake because it wasn't that important. But I didn't want that type energy going into something that's important to me. So here's the tip of the day, I could have been a CEO, a manger from a different store, an undercover boss or even a secret shopper. Always put your best foot forward and be great at it . Most of the time I always use the self checkout stations here at this location, I'm normally in and out. Today, I was purchasing one item and my self check out station was giving me issues. Mardesha was serving the self check out area and she had assisted me as my self check out station was giving me issues when I was trying to pay. But she took great care of me and assisted me. Albertsons has dropped almost all precautions regarding covid 19 infections. It's shameful that one the companies that made the most money during the ongoing pandemic and that had been able to work through this pandemic would remove cdc guidelines instead of strengthing them. They are not even wiping carts anymore and no restraint on number of customers allowed and nor monitoring members and employees who refuse to wear a mask. read more

Kudos to the employees of this Albertsons for their friendly, helpful service! While I was shopping here this afternoon, an employee approached me as well as another customer on the same aisle and asked if we needed help finding anything (which rarely happens anywhere anymore), the cashier at the self-checkout laughed at my husband's joke & wished us a good day as we left and the employee retrieving carts in the parking lot also wished us a good day. Management must offer great training in customer service. read more

This store is close to home, and has just about anything you basically need. There is also a Redbox to rent dollar movies from, which is cool. The employees are pretty helpful if you have any questions. And they close at midnight. That's all folks. read more

This review is for the deli food we had the fried chicken and mac salad from here last Friday and I have to say the fried chicken was very good to me better than KFC and Popeye's. Great bakery and bakery personnel. Had an awesome Oreo Cake, scrumptious and now you know they have both great chicken and good cakes. Had a problem with a checker taking an exorbitant amount of time but after talking to the manager, he made it right. Responsiveness was very refreshing. Lines can get a bit long and the "3 in line" rule I believe is in effect. Clean place, prices can be high for some items so look for sales, but the baked goods and chicken...you can't go wrong there. read more

Worst bakery in town!!!!!!!! Avoid at ALL COSTA not worth a shinny brown penny. Ordered a 40th birthday cake for my Aunt and it's absolutely garbage!! Not only did I wait 25 mins, (cake was set to be picked up at noon) it's currently: 1:26. The lady who Dom ally helped me, made me pay for the cake prior to pick up- cool no problem... but when I got to the cake... it looks like a 10 year old made this SMH! Terrible experience for curbside pickup order. Ordering was easy but picking up took approx 20 minutes, plus I had to go inside the store to pay because the associate's scanner wasn't working. Seriously I could have parked, gone in the store to make my purchase and be out in less time. I often do curbside orders at Target for groceries, let me tell you they have got it together. Not only quick service but friendly too. Sorry Albertsons, you guys need need to step up your game! read more

I've been a regular long time shopper at this Albertsons for over 15 years and it has never disappointed me until now. Ever since they changed a new computer system for the cashiers in early June '17, the lines and the wait has been very, very long. This has happened to me in my last three visits in the last few weeks. No improvement. I will give credit that the store is clean, products are good, deli is okay, reasonable prices, and there is ample parking, but the cashier lines are way too long, which is the longest wait of any supermarket I've ever experienced and now gets an F in my book. I don't buy gas here, so why ask for my phone number where everybody in line can hear? How about hiring more cashiers? Also, no baggage person in the last few times I checked out. I bagged my own along with the cashier to help speed up the dozen or so people that were waiting behind me. By the way, this was the Express check out (15 item or less), which is not a quick check out anymore in my last few experiences. What ever happened to "3's a crowd", the self check out counters, and the Monopoly rewards program? Those were good incentives along with the weekly ads that kept me shopping here over the years, but now with the awful wait to check out, I've decided to do my shopping elsewhere from now on. read more

This is my go-to store for everything. It's close to home and very convenient. A great thing is that this grocery store is surrounded by other food places along with the bank, Home Depot, and Staples. The staff is very friendly. I buy meat from Albertsons weekly, and Jesus (the butcher) is always so helpful. He greets me by my name. He is one of the reasons I go back to this store. read more

Have been to this location over five times and have made the unfortunate mistake of going to the cashier Allison. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. Not only does she slam down or throw the dividers, she also never lets us enter our phone number to earn our gas rewards. I try to avoid her at all costs but there is only so much you can do when there are only two checkers. read more

As most people know, I am a big fan of Albertson's Fried Chicken, but buyer beware...the Chicken Tenders are ticking time bombs! If you don't get them soon after they're hot out of the fryer, The "Tenderness Clock" starts ticking! and if the clock ticks down to zero, BOOM! (or is it POOF) they transform, and the "Tenders" part goes away. read more

Great neighborhood market. I love how this store is always clean, neatly organized, and always has a friendly staff member ready to help you. The deli is great - good selection of sliced meats and cheeses. During busy days, like today "Sunday" - they have almost all checkout lanes open. Online their offering 20 dollars and free delivery I registered and when I wanted to start shopping and it asked for my zip code which I provided but it stated there wasn't a Albertsons by my house I'm in between two of them the one on 100 Carson St and the one I'm writing a review on.. the web site kept forwarding me to Vons on Crenshaw which is no where near my home.. Great Albertsons, located in a nice plaza with tons and tons of parking, store is always clean and the workers are very friendly. Firewood is located at the outside of the store to your left and the shopping carts are on the right side. There is a starbucks in this location but if you're trying to get a coffee or pastry go early because they close around 6ish! The deli is a good place to go for when you're on the go for lunch or getting dinner for your family. I love how they have wings in their own little island. Also their rotiserrie chicken and sometimes have ribs are also good. Fried Chicken and potatoe wedges are great as well. The produce section is always kept clean and stocked with fruits and vegetables. Meat/seafood is very clean as well. Nice store overall, everything is conveniently located. Alcohol section used to be in the aisle but is now on the west corner side of the store in it's own little world. read more

The only reason this place is in business must be because of the residents that find it convenient due to it's location. They're always out of stock in the produce section. Make sure not to go shopping during the fall/winter holidays because they're always out of stock in everything!! It's ridiculous and I don't understand how they keep the same management. I hesitate to go to this market because of the prices versus the Ralph's that I used to shop at before I moved back to the area. Today I was in a rush and I ran in to get some eggs. While I was in there I thought I would just grab a "ready made" peach pie from the bakery. I figure I could just warm up a piece to have with a cup of coffee while I get some online work done at home today as my son completes his homework network. I was shocked when I cut into the pie (from the bakery) and the filling was frozen. My son had to get his homework done and he was hungry so it's not like I could just run back and exchange it. Even Walmart serves better "ready made" pies than the Albertsons that I thought was going to be my neighborhood market. read more

I am a fan of Albertson's in general. Ever since moving to the OC/LA area from SD, it was the one store I could count on for all of bachelorette necessities like yogurt, beer and Albertson's brand lactose-free milk (it's better than Lactaid! Trust me!). When I recently moved, I thought that Food 4 Less was my only option, but I was glad that I explored the other side of Sepulveda off of the 110 fwy and found this lovely Albertson's. It is much nicer than most that I have been to despite the backwards layout to my previous Alberston's on Hawthorne Blvd. Now, I look forward to my weekly grocery shopping and I don't have to dread the strange urine smell of the Food 4 Less entry. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. This isn't the first location I have problems cashing my W.I.C vouchers. (Gardena) location as well. The employees seem to be extremely rude when I happen to use my W.I.C vouchers at Albertsons. (Never have this problem at Ralph's or Food 4 less). I get told I can't get a certain flavor of cereal which it says I can in the W.I.C book. Which I ALWAYS get at different stores. It's a shame because the one they force me to get is just gonna go to waste. Anyways if you have WIC I don't recommend using at Albertsons staff talks to you a certain way.. and tell you you cant get certain products when you definitely can at any other grocery store :/ read more

This morning, after my shopping at Albertsons, there was an elderly woman at her car that requested assistance in retrieving an electric car in order to get around and shop at the grocery store. I eventually found an employee to help me but I do wonder if there are more actionable things Alberstsons can do, like having an attendant outside - this would work well if Albersons also had a pick up option. Or, have someone walk the parking lot every 15 minutes. In the end, I was surprised at the challenge of finding help for the elderly woman. Once, I found the help, an employee did find a cart for her, I worried how she would get around the store and shop for things when mobility was an issue. I'm aware of Albertsons Golden Hours but is there a policy or service of helping disabled shoppers once in the store to complete their errand? On my end, I wish I would have done more like helping the lady with her grocery shopping but it's all hindsight now. I do think, if Albertsons is looking for ways to ante up their customer service, some of these suggestions can help. Everytime i go here there is expired perishables. Be careful with the ground beef that is many days past its expiration date. Also watch out for the bratwurst that is many weeks past expiration date. I love this Albertson's. It's always clean and the employees are always friendly. I have never encountered a problem with the shelves not being fully stocked. They always have plentiful of items. Another major plus is how fresh the produce items are. My kale is always clean and crispy. Overall...the best Albertson's that I have been to.
