    Sold out vending
    Lisa T.

Lots of options at this grocery store. Prices are a bit high without a members discount. Just sign up for their free rewards membership better priced. They carried All Dressed flavored Lay's. What a pleasant surprise to find a Canadian flavor at the grocery store. They had a Pokemon vending machine as well, but everything was sold out.

    Sushi in the trash!

First off it's only a ONE but the service deli crew rocks! Had sushi today and I hope I don't get sick. Yeah I know, if you want sushi go to a sushi restaurant, yeah ok I get it, but if you can't supply decent food regardless of what it is, dont sell it. Should have gotten a chicken breast, they are always great. Also Peter and his crew on pharmacy are great! Actually the only thing that's bad is the sushi

The floral service I received from Patricia was excellent. She helped me select a memorial plant. After finding the perfect one with new buds and changing out the pot I had her put a white satin bow on it. Looked beautiful. Her suggestions and expertise about flowers and plants was much appreciated. Thank you Patricia for your kind service.

    My mother and her bouquet

Wanted to compliment Tami in the flower department for designing and creating the most beautiful flower arrangement for my mother's 91st birthday. I walked around and chose some of the flowers and she , finished and created it. I picked it up in the morning. Just a wonderful experience and an excellent value.

    Cashier on Xmas eve
    Liliana F.

Cashier named Taminika was not very friendly on Xmas eve. I understand it's Christmas Eve and everybody wants to be home but that doesn't give her the right to treat people that way. She was throwing my candies while she scanned them and her energy was so bad, if you see her do not go to her register.

This large grocery store carries a lot of variety, though it lacks maintenance on the ground floor, quite a few areas look worn off and uneven. There's an easy self-check out line for less than ten items near the end of the cashiers.

    Expired frap

I have bought a Starbucks Frappuccino and I drank more than half. The expiration date had caught my eye and I looked at it and it's was expired since last month!!! How do you guys sell expired drinks? Unbelievable!! Still good tho

The $50 cake that had no filling in the middle. Just dry white cake with dry strawberries

Subject: Please Reconsider Closing Amazon Stores in Los Angeles…read more Dear Mr. Bezos, I am writing as someone who is genuinely saddened to hear about Amazon stores closing in Los Angeles. I understand that business decisions often come down to profit and long-term strategy, but I hope there is also room to consider the human side of these choices. For many families in Los Angeles, these stores have meant more than just convenience. They have been places where people could afford simple meals, where kids could enjoy something as small but meaningful as a slice of pizza, and where working families could stretch their budgets a little further. With the incredible success Amazon has achieved, I hope there can also be a focus on community impact and the image of giving back to the people who have supported the company for so many years. Keeping stores open, especially in communities where affordable food and accessible shopping matter so much, would show that Amazon values more than just profit -- it values people. Los Angeles is a city with many families struggling to make ends meet. Small things, like affordable food and neighborhood access to essentials, make a real difference in people's lives. I hope you and Amazon's leadership will reconsider these closures or find ways to continue supporting these communities. Acts like these would not only help people in practical ways, but would also show compassion and responsibility from one of the world's most successful companies. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A concerned community member

Somewhere in between the Korean Friendship Bell and Korea Town in Los Angeles, but not exactly right next to either. My goal was to go check out Erewhon and all the smoothies and artisanal popcorn that celebrities and food influencers rave about online, but the Torrance H-Mart was an interesting destination in itself. I had to really restrain myself from buying everything that I wanted. I ultimately bought: 1. The Hojicha Tea Black Chocolate from Japan (the brand is Meiji) 2. The Green KitKats (Extra Matcha Tea Chocolate from Japan). 3. The Hanyul Hand Cream (I bought three - Chrysanthemum, Artemisia, and Ja Cho). They smell amazing and keep my hands moisturized. Southern California is so dry compared to Northern California. Ja Cho is Lithospermum Erythrorhizon root extract. 4. The Innisfree Green Tea face mask. 5. The Esfolio Volcanic Ash face mask. It's perfect for dry skin, and creates a healty glow. I asked the lady working there if the Volcanic Ash was from Jeju Island. She had no idea. I bought it anyway because it sounded interesting. 6. The Innisfree Volcanic Clay Mask. I know for a fact that this clay is sourced from Jeju Island, and I've been buying this product for years. Cleans up the sporadic acne flare up fast! It's perfect for combination skin without drying skin too much. They have vegan jerky, Sriracha mayo, and Kimchee Ketchup. I can buy that at any H-Mart, I think, so I didn't buy any of that. I wanted to explore so much more, but so much to do and so little time.
