Went there about 11pm, had pregnancy cravings. Ordered super fries instead of my go to California burrito. Should have kept with my plan. Got to my window and handed me a bag working five mins. Was looking for some good, local Mexican food while in the Orange/Anaheim area and this was one of the suggestions that came up in a Google search. Drive-thru experience was fast, easy and everything made exactly to order. Their Asada steak tacos were loaded with wonderful tasting meat, pico and guacamole! These things were large and just two of them were a big meal into themselves. Also had a couple of breakfast burritos in the order; those were large and fully loaded with ham, eggs, potatoes and cheese that were well cooked and not greasy at all. I have come to this location on a handful of occasions over the last year. I was trying to give it a fair chance even though the first few times always made me think, "why do I keep eating here? It's not good quality like the Cypress Albertacos. I always order the same thing as the Cypress location: Beef taquitos with guacamole and cheese. On four of my visits, they gave me chicken taquitos instead of beef. Such a small and stupid mistake and I wouldn't typically care or make a big deal but their chicken is so bland. No seasoning or salt so it's completely unenjoyable. The only time I ordered beef taquitos and actually got beef was last week when I ordered from Uber Eats instead of going to the drive-thru on my own. I remember thinking that I would actually eat here more often if they actually got the order right. Their beef was actually tasty. And when I ordered on Uber Eats, I requested that they poke holes on the top of the box to let the steam out while it be delivered and they actually came through on that which was impressive. I only live five minutes away so if there are holes on the top, the taquitos don't get steamed and chewy during the short delivery. The taquitos were filled with beef for once! And they were still crunchy by the time the Uber Eats delivery driver arrived. Today, once again, I got chicken taquitos even though I specifically asked him at the beginning of my order and verified at the end that it was beef. Was so bland. That's not the worst of it. When he took my credit card, his hands weren't washed so there was red sauce and red chunks of food on his finger nail as he rang my card up and as well as when he handed back my card and gave me my receipt. That was so disgusting. TLDR: I will never come to this location again. I gave it more than enough chances. It is nothing like the Albertacos in Cypress. Seems like a knock-off that's just trying to gain the Cypress-Albertaco's clientele on this side of town. If you have ever been to the Cypress location, you will know for a fact that they take pride over there in what they make and serve. I have been eating at the Cypress location my entire life and it is simply the best. Aside from this Orange location having the Albertaco's name and sign above their building, this business is nothing similar to that of Cypress. Save your time and money. There are so many other Mexican joints in this area that serve AUTHENTIC and QUALITY dishes at the same inexpensive price. And I'm sure the other restaurants nearby have cooks who wash their hands or switch to clean gloves between their cooking and accepting payments at the drive-thru window. read more

My family loves this place and they claim to have gluten free beef tacos and taquitos so we go here a lot because of my daughters diet. I think it's great college kid late night food and that's it. Shredded beef hard shell tacos are super greasy but packed with meat and a little cheese and a ton of shredded iceberg lettuce - nothing else. I usually end up with a stomach ache after three of them but we keep going back. Fries are sub par and they use them in everything such as the cali burrito. As others have said the rojo and verde sauces are runny and not very flavorful. You're better off with some bottled name brand sauce they have if eating in. See my picture of the to go taquito melted through the styrofoam container. We've received our food this way many times. Why avoid styrofoam? Styrofoam contains the chemical styrene, which has been linked to cancer, vision and hearing loss, impaired memory and concentration, and nervous system effects...the list goes on. What happens when you eat hot foods or drink liquids from styrofoam plates and cups is the styrene leaches out of the Styrofoam and into our bodies. So I did not go in myself, but I did get it delivered. There is so much on the menu to order. I was very happy to get to order a burrito with no beans. So I ordered 1 beef burrito and a cheese quesadilla. I found both to be pretty good. So the burrito. It was thick! They did not cheap out on anything. I find that sometimes some places will not put too much filling. To get just the burrito itself would have been perfect enough to be filling. There is just a few things that I didn't care about. I found the burrito to be too spicy. I was unable to finish the burrito. The other is it was too greasy. It was starting to make my stomach feel funny. But other than that, it tasted pretty good. The quesadilla: really its pretty hard to mess up that. Just plain cheese, nothing else. The tortilla was toasted just right which made it perfect. Great place to go get food and hang with friends! Since they're open late, you don't need to worry about rushing to get Mexican food. I believe they're open until 3am. I went with friends around midnight to get some burritos. Our cashier, Carlos, was really kind. He took our orders and gave us advice on what to get. He brought the food to us, and was always happy to answer any of our questions or get anything we needed for us. I highly recommend their creamy green sauce. It's really good. Chicken tacos are my safety so I ordered three, and I was pleasantly surprised with how big they were- and they aren't skimpy with the chicken! Some of the chicken was sort of fatty, but they were still delicious tacos. I've been on a quest for the best salsa in the area and loved their green salsa. It had a great flavor! I would definitely try it again. Their other salsa had a good flavor to. Almost acidic (not a chunky consistency if that's what you like) but it was pretty good.
