A friend recommended Alan's shop a while back and we went there and found the perfect used bike for my son (Specialized with disc brakes, good gearing, and great suspension) for a reasonable price. I don't normally write reviews on Yelp but I had to for this one. He's so nice!! I'm a beginner, I haven't biked in years and wanted to start again just to get moving and to have a new hobby. I was looking for a used hybrid bike that fit my needs and the one he pulled out ended up being the perfect size and had everything I was looking for! It was also still in amazing condition. He let me try it as well in the parking lot and showed me how to take off the tires and showed me basic things I needed to know about the bike and how to use it. I came here because my daughter's tricycle has some flat tires and our bicycle pump just can't fit into the spokes of her small wheels. Had a minor crash/fall on my 2021 Specialized Diverge gravel bike on my second time out. Minor damage but definitely wasn't shifting properly afterward and needed new tape on one of the drop bars. I needed a bike tuneup for the summer riding season after not riding for the past few years due to family commitments. I've visited Alan 3 times and each time he's taken good care of my bikes. He is an honest merchant who seems to value building a long term relationship with his customers vs being out to make a fast buck. 1st visit was to check the family bikes to see if they were safe. He didn't charge me for the check-nothing wrong with any of the bikes, which I appreciated, and made me comfortable coming back. He changed my popped tire tube on visit #2 and recommended new tires and tubes, which I purchased on Amazon (based on his recommendation). Visit #3 was installing the tubes and tires. His services are reasonably priced and he's a friendly guy. Shop has plenty of parking and Alan is responsive to Yelp texts for when he's at the shop.
