Had a couple hardwood floor planks that needed to be replaced. I had the replacement planks but have no idea how to cut up and then lay real hardwood floors. I called a couple other places first but I got a rude response from one place and another FLOORING place said "oh we don't do that." 3rd times a charm. I called this place on Thursday evening, they sent someone to fix it Saturday morning, cost less than half what I was expecting. Left 0 mess, looked 100% new. He was happy to do repairs rather than pressuring me to redo an entire room that didn't need to be redone. I needed a small area of engineered wood flooring replaced after water damage. Alfred responded promptly after I called and came out and looked at floor. He gave me an estimate within a couple of days and had the floor replaced that week. Daniel did a wonderful job making the floor look like the original and it did not take him too long. While floor repair is not inexpensive, Almichaels flooring did a wonderful job and were quick to respond. I would use them again. read more

I recently used Al Michael's carpet cleaning service for one of our rental properties. We had quite a few stains on the carpet and most of them came off completely. Few still had a bit of hint that they were there, but we were fairly pleased with the outcome. Also Al has been able to come out to the property the same day we called. Al came out himself to take a look at some hardwood floor that I believed needed repair from water damage. I'm leaving a 5-star review, because it is RARE to find such an honest person in this day an age. After travelling almost an hour to come to my property, Al spent only a few minutes looking at the wood before advising me that he won't take my money. The wood will naturally dry out by itself. Hired these guys to do laminate flooring in our house about a year ago. They quoted much more than Home Depot or Lowe's but we wanted to go with a local company, so we talked the owner down a little. Wish we hadn't. The work on the laminate was poor and is continuing to degrade. The pieces aren't put together well. There are gaps and places where the pieces are pushing up against each other and tenting. They sawed under our door frames. Poorly. The guy he contracted for the bathroom tile did fine. When he brought me in to show me the completed flooring, in record time, I expressed my dissatisfaction. He told me to refer to my husband. Which I found insulting. I let it go, moved on with my subpar floor, but it is just continuing to get worse. We'll probably have to have it redone in a couple of years. read more

Alfred replied to my call the same day and applied a lacquer coating to some worn floors in a rental property. Whilst the lacquer does not hide the terrible marks and deep bruising my Tenant made to areas, the rest of floors look fantastic and are now protected. I would honestly review Al Michaels in negative stars if it were possible. I hired this company for floor installation in my home a few weeks ago. When they arrived, the men who were to do the installation had to basically be supervised the entire time they were working. I don't know where these men learned how to install flooring but I basically had to watch them the entire time otherwise they would have continued with their sloppy work and not have done what I had asked. In addition, they left before the job was done. I paid them for the job they had quoted for, two rooms for floor installation, and they did not finish the job. When I called to reschedule, they said that they would not, and that they would charge me a second time to complete the job that I had originally paid them to do. I would not recommend this company. I suggest prospective clients look elsewhere for flooring installation needs. Their representatives have been rude, uncooperative, and downright unprofessional. I completely regret spending one penny for this company's services. Please save yourself the time and headache and go to a different company. They did a great job on a hardwood repair job that we needed done. We have great floors and no one wanted take our small repair job, but these guys were willing to take the job and the area looks great. I will remember them when I need to replace a floor and recommend them when I know someone who is looking to put in new floors. They were timely and professional. Almichaels installs flooring. They have incredible customer service and helped with a problem with my rent house. Another carpet cleaning company (I'll never use them again!) used a degreasing solvent to clean the bedroom carpets, making the house uninhabitable due to horrible chemical fumes. I had the carpet removed, but needed new flooring fast so that my tenant could occupy the property. Almichaels answered their phone at 8:00 p.m. on a Thursday evening and was at the house at 8:30 a.m. the next day. We settled on a moderately-priced laminate and the floor was installed by 1:30 p.m. the following Monday. They did a great job cleaning up. The floor is beautiful and my tenant was able to occupy the unit on Wednesday. Responsive! Fast! Professional! I will use Almichaels the next time I need flooring and would recommend them to anyone needing a laminate floor. read more

I accidentally left the water running in our big tub, left the house for two hours and flooded the master suite. AlMichael's came out immediately, sucked up the water, pulled up the carpeting, cut away the drenched padding, put in the dryers and advised me on how to make sure everything would dry well.
