Let me go through each of the following: +Dr. Shah: Dr. Shah is really cool; he introduced himself to me as Dr. Jay, and we are from the same home town, age, and have a similar life background in terms of moving around from the Bay to LA! It was great having that rapport since it was my first time meeting him. But most of all, the best thing was that he ordered multiple tests to help me get to the bottom of my abdominal issues that I have been struggling with for more than half my life! After going to the ER a few times and finding nothing major in my CT scan, I was worried he would dismiss my stomach issues, BUT he did the opposite thing and helped me with diagnosing multiple potential problems. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief and finally get to the root cause of all my abdominal issues! This has not been the case with previous providers...(hence why I switched). THANKS, DR. SHAH! Oh also, Dr. Shah is funny; he made a funny joke on his business card lol. He also was able to take a look at my ankle as I know his expertise is also in sports medicine! He gave me detailed information on stretches to do for my ankle and also some resistance bands. WOW! THANK YOU! Going above and beyond - totally didn't expect that! He also did not rush me and answered all my questions. +Staff/Receptionists: I truly believe it is rare that if you leave a voicemail/message for the receptionists at a doctor's office, that you would receive a call back. Not only do I receive a call back each time, IT IS WITHIN THE SAME DAY! That is WONDERFUL! Keep up the amazing job!! It means so much to be called back; I almost couldn't believe it when I picked up the phone. The young lady who met with me before Dr. Shah was also very friendly and made small talk with me. +Facility & Appointment Logistics: The facility is nice; I think it's probably just a few years old. I experienced no wait (I was even seen EARLY). WOW. Everything was prompt, efficient, and thoroughly explained! I also appreciated how I received discharge papers with such details documented and on my labwork, there were even specific instructions on what I should avoid taking before the bloodwork. I was also told in detail about fasting. My previous provider did not do that! Overall, it has been a wonderful experience so far with this provider and clinic! I am so happy because it is very close to where I live too. Feels like a dream come true to finally have a great doctor and experience with a physician's office! I highly recommend this clinic and doctor. The location is nice also (it's diagonal from a yummy Thai place - see my other Yelp review if you're curious!)

It's my first time here, I try to get to the location and due to some insurance mishaps my appt location and time had been changed a few times. I arrived to the Crossroads location and quickly found out I arrived to the wrong one. Rushed over and even CALLED the front desk to let them know I was arriving late as a courtesy. As I walk in the front girl screening the appt just started repeating over and over how I was late and the tone was just annoyed right off the bat. Even another lady trying to come in was given attitude so quick too, but watched her as she picked and chose who to be nice to when walking in and out. ON TOP OF HAVING A WHOLE CONVERSATION ON HER CELLPHONE IN THE LOBBY out loud in front of us. Luckily they took me. Accepted my insurance and payment, the girls behind the window were a little nicer at least. The back office staff , especially the girl that took me back was much more pleasant. The conversation was there and the overall vibe was better from her. Finally seen Dr Baez. Super pleasant. Still took me in for my rather short 5 min visit and I was very satisfied. Point being, you can tell when you enjoy your job and when you don't. People can too.

She'd said that they are short staffed. M8nd you I saw 3 ladies up front like usual. She said she will send a message to the practioner on duty. And told me its been awhile since they had seen me that they need to see me so I made an appointment on Thursday just need a few pills to get me by. Said they would let me know. No call Monday called them today Tuesday with much higher blood pressure and they said they pass it through seeing I have an appointment in two days. Called cvs and nothing has been placed. Called them back and they said they can't prescribe me anything. They dont care and dont try to take care of situations that is life threatening. Will not spend another dollar there again. A few days before rhe appointment, their system asked me to confirm the appointment, and the next day they said they do not give that shot. The exact same thing happened today. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for an important vaccine. Again, their system asked me to check-in, and today, 45 minutes before my appointment, they called me to tell me they were out of that vaccine, that they had used the last one. I've been.going there for years. I was satisfied, but now, it is obvious, there are having problems, and it's time for me to go somewhere else where they are more organized, better staffed, and where the main doctor is visible.

When you see him, he takes his time to make sure you feel heard, carefully listens to your concerns, and ensures you receive the proper care you need. He is exceptional at responding to patients and managing their care -- he answers all my questions thoroughly (and I have a lot!). Dr. Bonilla is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The level of care he provides is truly next-level, and something I wish every doctor strived to deliver. The nurses and office staff are also wonderful and incredibly helpful. They are quick to assist whether you're visiting the office in person, calling in, or sending an email through the portal. I can't praise them enough.

She told me to scan the QR code posted up front to fill out all my info. Surprisingly it didn't take long. They also had free wi-fi so that helped a lot. Right after completion, I was again impressed of how fast I was taken in, literally 2 minutes after I finished my intake forms. After taking my vitals, I was taken to an exam room, everything is brand new and it's super clean. Immediately after the PA came in. He was friendly, thorough and to the point. My prescription was sent right away to my local pharmacy and given all my postcare info. I was in and out of there in less than 30 min. I love that, easy no stress visit, and got what I needed, this is perfect for busy people or in a time crunch. They just opened April 1st so probably not a lot of people know about this place yet. I live right by here, so I knew about it before they opened. After a few days I got an automated follow up text to see how I was doing. I thought I was ok but a few days after my condition got worse so I returned after 6 days. Same easy check in. Different front office staff from the first visit, but same friendly greeting upon arrival and exit. I did observe only 1 other patient in the waiting room for both visits. Lucky me! This second visit (on a Sunday afternoon) I was even more impressed and happy because my PA was very knowledge, thorough and very personable. My appointment was a bit longer this time, and she asked my permission for ai transcription as she spoke all her findings out loud. I'm wondering why the last PA didn't do that. But not complaining. Usually urgent cares are quick and to the point, no small talk so I'm used to that. But I really felt like everything was addressed in a compassionate, caring, very thorough way with my PA today. I could tell she's highly experienced. Her examination was even better and more thorough than some of my other specialty doctors I see! Her name is Monica Williams. I know providers are all different, but overall so far my experiences here get better every visit. Trust me, I'm immunocompromised so I'm a regular at these places!
