Ever since it changed from vista medical group the service has become horrible. I called Sat because I was out of blood pressure mens and they are now closed on Sat and Sundays. Called Monday 7 times ...at 9:58am 11:10am 1215pm 1:22pm 1:58 pm1:59pm and again at 2:30pm then drove there to se if they went out of business. Walked in and was greeted. I asked if they're phones are down? The lady at the counter with (with a smirk on her face said that they go to lunch at 12 and I told her ive calling since 9 th8s morning. She'd said that they are short staffed. M8nd you I saw 3 ladies up front like usual. She said she will send a message to the practioner on duty. And told me its been awhile since they had seen me that they need to see me so I made an appointment on Thursday just need a few pills to get me by. Said they would let me know. No call Monday called them today Tuesday with much higher blood pressure and they said they pass it through seeing I have an appointment in two days. Called cvs and nothing has been placed. Called them back and they said they can't prescribe me anything. They dont care and dont try to take care of situations that is life threatening. Will not spend another dollar there again. Avoid any branch of Vista Medical Group if you care about your health and value your time. The staffs are not trained or helpful. There were some good doctors over the years but they left. The doctor turnover rate is high you almost never get to see the same doctor. They always hire really rude staffs like Rosa or Linda Nguyen, or the incompetent nurse practitioner Janet (who gave me the wrong lab order and medication, as told by the specialist). Imagine you're sick and you're in pain, you don't get to see your usual doctor because there is no appointment until 1 month later. But you can see whoever is available there and give you the wrong medication or wrong lab work (have to take 1 day off work to do the lab). And being treated by the rude staffs as if you're an inconvenience to them. The staffs never process the paperwork's on time and sometimes they even forget to submit it. I have it up to my neck and I blamed myself that I did not switch doctor sooner!!! This office has wasted so much of my previous time and risked my health! read more

I sat in urgent care for 30 min before being told I would be waiting another 2 hours before I could be seen by a care provider. I was the only client in the waiting room. I was told the wait included an hour for the provider's lunch. Do they not have a relief so the provider can take lunch? Why wait the 30 min to let me know about the extended wait period? read more

The care here is below average. The facility is run by students and employees who do not understand priorities with urgent care. They put you in a room QUICKLY and there you wait for over an hour even with a TODDLER as the patient. It is ridiculous and everyone is looking blank face as you just WAIT. The facility is filthy! I hate writing negative reviews, but when I'm extorted for money I will happily do so. I went here after I had a poison oak rash after a hike in 2017. The doctor saw me for about thirty seconds and prescribed some creams. I provided my insurance info and paid my co-pay. A year later I kept on getting ambiguous emails from them and I called to see what it was about. I was told it was a glitch and that I didn't owe any money. Years later I receive notices saying I owe money via mail. I called and talked to someone and they said I need to talk to someone from billing. I tried to reach out and never connected. Today I received a call saying pay or be sent to collections. I asked for proof from insurance that they wouldn't pay, but was not offered that. Their response was pay or be sent to collections. I paid because I care about my credit score, but I would rather suffer an ER waiting room rather than going here again. PS, the extortionist from the billing dept is Maria. read more

He's a excellent coach in relaying good information which I will follow because of my condition at my older age. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS URGENT CARE!! This place is horrible for various reasons. The PA had horrible bedside manners, did no work and misdiagnosed me, causing me to almost die. Also, Maria and Eileen are miserable fools who love hanging up on people instead of doing their job. Keep in mind that even though you pay your copay and your insurance pays all they are suppose to they will still try to deceive you by sending you additional bills, you can fight their fraud with the credit bureaus very easily, don't get fooled by them. Luckily I found an amazing Urgent Care off of Chino Ave, Pomona Valley Health Center Chino Hills. The copay is half the cost and they treat you so amazing there. I have to update my review from 2017. Unfortunately this place has gone down hill the customer service and office manager Amy do not care about patient care. My mother was seen here and had critical labs that needed to be addressed and nobody called her it was 2 months out and not even 1 phone call and her provider was pretty upset with the staff also. I had called and spoke to Amy the "manager" and she didn't care and just said "ops sorry they forgot?! If you want to be taken care of go elsewhere because this is not the place to go for your medical needs not only did they not address my mothers concerns but her referrals were never placed! I took my son recently for the first time to urgent care, he fell in school, and injured his arm during basketball and was in pain. His nurse at his school asked me to take him straight to urgent care, which we did and came here to vista. On initial walk in, the front staff was very helpful, they were able to see him and accepted our insurance. The service was very fast, and professional. They took X-rays on my son. The doctor which was a female doctor walked in, and after greeting us she goes and sees the xray and says to me the elbow is broken mom! She also asked if i wanted to see the X-ray, and i said yes, and on xray i seen a line that appears like a tear/crack It looked broken on xray. Well.. they followed with he needs a referral from his general doctor to see ortho, which i did the whole process. This is where the nightmare begins... While my doctors office is trying to find out exactly what happened, they call Vista and apparently a different doctor took a look at the X-ray and diagnosed something different. This doctor says his elbow is not broken. Mind you i did not know this, but apparently one of the nurses left me a voicemail which i heard later, which she mentioned in person basically if i would of heard the voicemail, i would of saved time stopping by again to vista, because i was going back and forth trying to find out what happened. What she did not understand is that what complicated things is by vista letting my doctors office know it wasn't broken upon second doctor diagnosis, but not adding that my son was in pain and this was a second diagnosis, referral was cancelled. If two doctors, are giving two different diagnosis, and patient is in pain, wouldn't you send the patient to a specialist??? Well.. vista told me follow up with your doctor, and it's sad because when you take your child to urgent care, the care is suppose to be urgent! Well we are almost two weeks in and because of the referral being cancelled, we had to start all over again and still haven't seen ortho. I felt like vista just said figure it out with your doctors office and good riddance. My doctors office, school nurse, and everyone i talked to said the same thing, how do you just say his elbow is not broken, but not proceed to encourage a patient to be sent to see a specialist when two diagnosis have been given in your facility, and the patient is in pain. As of this day we are still waiting for referral, my son is still in pain, he missed days from school and no instructions on what to do has been given, because my doctors office is just a general doctor, this is why i rushed him to urgent care. My son should not be going through this and it's just awful. I know i don't have amazing insurance, but i have worked in this type of field and i know that if a patient is having pain, and different diagnosis have been given, it's a automatic referral if patient is in pain. And this is urgent care, what you say or write down can make a huge impact on how fast my son could of been seen by that specialist. read more

Maggie is so smart, she finds the source of your problems, she really cares about you and has such a big heart . she has the best bed side manners and I feel she really cares about each patient she sees . Overall, I think the nurse practitioner, Anne, was terrific. She was very attentive and cooperative in addressing all of my concerns on my visit yesterday. I, like everyone else here, am withholding only a single star for the amount of time my visit took: 2 whole hours. It took over an hour for me to be seen from when my appointment started at 11:30am and I was out only before 1:30pm. If there is anything Vista Medical Group should work on, in my opinion, is either hiring more staff or finding ways to avoid these delays. Other than that, all of my visits to Vista Medical Group, both here and in Rancho Cucamonga, have been great since I got established with them in 2019. read more

I don't understand the terrible reviews... Every time I come here for an appointment, I'm seen within an hour of my appointment time. Even when I come in for urgent care, I've only waited and hour or two. Despite the name, people, you have to wait for urgent care. Oh and on top of being pretty good with time, when my doctor gives me a prescription, she calls it into CVS, so I can pick it up after getting lab work done. I think they're great! The only reason they don't get five star is because the staff isn't as friendly as I would hope a medical staff would be. read more
