Excellent! The pizza is thin crust cooked to perfection. Montepulciano wine and the pasta " Al dente" . We were lucky to get in as they close early like most restaurants in Dublín. Totally recommend!

Saturday lunch... I had been here before and felt looked after as a customer.. today was busier and the experience was disappointing... service was rushed and inattentive. Food was very average.. my expectations were not high for a lasagna but I managed to be disappointed with the small portion of pasta and salad... looks huge on the photo ... but lasagna only looks as it is filling the dish because the dish is covered in sauce. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon ..

nice!

You know those little local Italian diners you see in the movies that everyone seems to know about and parents seem to go to a lot and the waiter knows everyones name and there are red and white check table clothes with old chianti bottles with melted candle wax all over them??... well this place is nothing like that. Except of coursr that they manage to keep the atmosphere of the fictional above! Having worked in a little local Italian diner for years (long since turned into an Indian place) the first thing I thought when entering was "I bet this is a nice place to work", happy staff make for a good restaurant and this place seemed to encapsulate that. The food is not spectacular but it is good, we have never had a bad meal there, they do a chicken dish there wioth a cream sauce which is well worth a shot! We got take-away pizza a few times as well, they were good but I couldn't help feeling they were expensive, I think they charge the same for take-out as dine-in. perhaps a bit cheeky!? Anyway, go, enjoy and dont miss the melted candles too much!

I love the pizzas here, thin and crispy with just the right amount of cheese and sauce, which means I have yet to try the wider menu of Italian classics at Al Boschetto. Split over two narrow levels, the lower dining area pushes tables around big pillars, so keeping up a conversation with a dining companion at the end of a long table can be difficult. The wait staff are competent if rushed, so know what you want the first time your table is checked on, or spend the next twenty minutes waiting for another chance. Lunch time is inevitably busy; who wouldn't want to while away the hour over a glass of red while waiting for piping hot pizza and garlic bread? That also means, unfortunately, that food can get backed up in the kitchen and not served till right before you have to throw on your coat and run for the office. Don't take it personally. Take the pizza to go and try not to eat it all on the walk back.

I had a dinner with my friends. There is clean, and staffs is very friendly. I ate arrabbiata pasta, carbonara pasta, rustic pizza and some pizza(sorry I forgot the pizza's name). Carbonara was nice:) and Irish coffee was good. We can see Ballsbridge river and eating, drinking.

Superb service! Super friendly, clean and I wasn't even looking for an Italian place but glad we walked in. Usually kids food are bland, however they made some amazing pasta and kid friendly pizza for my kids who ate it all! (Including my picky eater). Not just our kids meal but ours was delicious also. We really enjoyed the casual conversation with the staff and overall atmosphere, would highly recommend it!

As for now - the best pizza in the area! Delicious 3 Fridays in a row. Highly recommend this place :)

The best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at in Ireland. The food was so good I didn't stop to photo most of it. Slightly pricier than other Italian restaurants but you get what you pay for here. Will be back soon

During our research before we left we saw a video talking about Bunsen. Just seeing the high quality of the ingredients made it one of our must try stops in Dublin. As we do when traveling, we start and end the day eating throughout the day. We popped into Bunsen to finally try the legendary burger around 4:30 pm. Because we were there at such an odd hour, we were the only people there. When you visit Ireland, the pub culture is real and most pubs start to get quite busy around 5:30 pm. Since Bunsen isn't a pub and wasn't located in a particularly touristy area , it didn't surprise me they were empty at that time of day. What stuck out the most at first was the super friendly service right from the door. We were sat at a small banquet of tables against the wall and checked out the menu from QR code link on the table. We were there for their original burger so that is what we ordered. No sides and water to drink. I couldn't be filling up too much yet. It was pretty early after all and we had a lot of places to stop yet. The menu isn't huge. They focus on doing one thing well and keep it at that. I like a restaurant that doesn't try to be everything. Our burger came out within 10 min and it was juicy, hot and fresh. Presented beautifully wrapped. We shared this one burger because, we knew we had lots of food to eat later. Immediately after eating the last bite I wanted to order another. It was really that good. Such perfection! This will be the burger I compare all others in Ireland to.

Briefest menu I ever saw. It is literally printed on a business card. Basically, burger - single or…read moredouble - or cheeseburger with handcut, shoestring or sweet potato fries and, um, that's it. Served in true fast food joint style, fries on paper plates and tightly wrapped bundle containing the burger. Washing up overhead nil. We both had cheeseburgers with handcut fries after agonising for literally seconds over our choice. Service was brisk and meals appeared within a few minutes. I have a 'thing' about burgers. I like my steaks medium rare but I always insist on a well-done burger for hygiene reasons which, in fairness, this was. My companion had ordered hers medium but it looked very much on the rare side to both of us but she was happy enough. Frankly, I thought it was all pretty meh. Nothing memorable or good enough to drag me back. The burger bun did maintain structural integrity throughout the process which was a plus but the whole thing was decidedly only ok. It was cheap, however, so there's that. Apparently, they have long waits at busy times. No idea why and I'd be furious if I had had to wait in line for a mediocre burger.

The Stack: You really can't go wrong with a bacon cheese burger. Throw one some fried onions and BBQ sauce, to make it even more indulgent. Luckily they have it down to a science and were turning tables so fast the line was moving along steadily. We were given probably 2-3 minutes before a sever came up to take our order. Then since it is a concert night they ask you to pay before the food comes out. (No worries to us.) The service was good and the atmosphere was definitely dinner vibe. My girls got a Bacon Big Boy (hot dog with bacon and cheese) and the other a kids quesadilla meal. My husband got the smokestack burger combo and I opted for the tender basket with bacon and cheese on my fries. We also opted for a few milkshakes to share. I got a vanilla, my daughter got an Oreo and my hubby got a Rocher shake. (I will say the rocher shake was my favorite.) We were not able to eat everything as it was all so filling. My daughter asked if we could come back again tomorrow.
