Because we were there at such an odd hour, we were the only people there. When you visit Ireland, the pub culture is real and most pubs start to get quite busy around 5:30 pm. Since Bunsen isn't a pub and wasn't located in a particularly touristy area , it didn't surprise me they were empty at that time of day. What stuck out the most at first was the super friendly service right from the door. We were sat at a small banquet of tables against the wall and checked out the menu from QR code link on the table. We were there for their original burger so that is what we ordered. No sides and water to drink. I couldn't be filling up too much yet. It was pretty early after all and we had a lot of places to stop yet. The menu isn't huge. They focus on doing one thing well and keep it at that. I like a restaurant that doesn't try to be everything. Our burger came out within 10 min and it was juicy, hot and fresh. Presented beautifully wrapped. If you don't want fries for a side they have sweet potato fries, side salads, coleslaw, etc. They offer other menu items as well such as sandwiches, salads, appetizers, shakes/malts/floats. Cost: Most of the burgers were 10-12 euros. You pay extra for sides. The fries we got added an additional 2.50 euros each. My boyfriends beer was 5 euros, my soda 3 euros. So, as always, it adds up quick, but the prices are pretty reasonable. Especially because you really do get your money's worth. The burgers are no joke!
