I'd been wanting to try this food spot FOREVER. It just seemed every time we were in town looking…read morefor food it was the wrong day. We basically tried everything on the menu. A fried ono fish burger, a seared ahi sandwich, cheesy seafood dip, and the cookies. Everything was awesome! The fish burger had lilikoi tartar sauce and the fish was super fresh tender and flaky. The ahi sando had chopped kimchi and a garlicky mayo. The dip had a touch of smoke and didn't taste fishy. The cookies were bigger than I imagined and were excellent especially with the generous sprinkling of maldon sea salt crystals. If I was forced to split hairs, I'd wished the seafood medley in the dip (shrimp, halibut, etc) were chunkier so you could identify what was in each bite. It was more whipped or creamed together. I also think the cookies would be better if they were just a little thicker, although I can see the allure of a thin crispy cookie also. The cost was pretty expensive, but the ingredients they use are fresh and high quality so you can see where the money goes. The staff were really above-and-beyond friendly. They quickly set up an extra folding table for our family when they noticed we had no where to sit. Please visit this food cart (and follow them on socials, to keep track of their weekly specials) -- let's keep them in business! Anyone can see they take a lot of pride in their food both taste, image and creativity. I can't wait to try more things from Familia.

Majority of the customers are takeout and delivery just from the hour that I was there waiting for my food. I haven't had much kimbap before but the Tuna K-Roll was very tasty, added a side of spicy mayo and yum! I wasn't expecting dry tuna though. The rolls were nicely cut and put together. We also ordered the creamy wasabi hangry chicken top bop. I think i'll stick with the original Top Bop options and locations though as the chicken ratio to other fillings were minimal. Tasted delicious. I won't be ordering the pesto pasta again.. $15? Or any pasta actually. Flavorful.. but basic. More pasta then the chicken and I didn't have the stomach to finish the rest of it. Which is rare. Not too salty as i had seen in a previous review. Also, the sauce wasn't anything different from what you can get off the grocery shelves.

I have always been a big supporter of local Top Bops around town. Unfortunately, their hours are weird. The first time went there at 5pm to grab a boba drink. Strike one. For those unfamiliar, Top Bop specializes in perfectly portioned, affordable, Korean fast food. They get in and out, FAST, with a delicious, nutritious meal at around the 10 dollar mark. You have the option of add-ons and beverages of course, but historically they've been reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the Ghost Kitchen is a huge disappointment. Ghost Kitchen is still "fast food" but they've added other cuisines which has slowed down the process and jacked up prices SIGNIFICANTLY. Meal prices are closer to the 20 dollar mark and they have made noticeable changes to the quality of the product they provide across the board. The lack of focus in their menu has destroyed their quality and drinks. If I want to spend anything above the $13.50 mark, why would I get fast food? I can go to a Korean sit-down and for a few dollars more get something really excellent that includes complimentary panchan. Similarly, if I want Italian food at the $15 plus price mark, I can go to about 20 other places in Anchoange and the quality and portion is far superior. Today, our order was really meh and not worth $60 FOR LUNCH. We all threw half our lunches out. Strike two. I absolutely cannot recommend anything but their drinks now, which will set you back $6, which is the going rate in Anchorage these days for custom drinks. I may eventually try their popcorn chicken just for giggles so I can give them a full review/third strike you're out. We'll see...

The woman working there-could not have been nicer-seated me as quickly as possible and apologized for the inconvenience. I got the fresh rolls (Summer rolls) with shrimp and shrimp fried rice (level 4-1 below Thai hot). I typically would never get fried rice at a Thai restaurant although it is common to their cuisine but I was not in the mood for curry or noodles. The dish was fresh, spicy, the shrimp were large and fresh. Simple, tasty, cooked to order and uprising flavorful. The fresh rolls were delicious, overstuffed, and came with two dipping sauces; the standard peanut sauce (although a little thinner than what is typical) and what was similar to a green goddess sauce/dressing. Both sauces were just ok. I prefer chili oil and luckily the table condiments had that and several others to offer. The meal was inexpensive and overall delicious. The staff were very kind and I will definitely be returning.

We did get the dip bread appetizer about 15 minutes after ordering which helped. Then we waited another full hour after finishing it before our food arrived. The food was inconsistent. The chow fun noodles were undercooked. More like al dente pasta which does not work for a Chinese dish. The burgers came with fries that were cold and hard. They did fix that quickly and brought fresh fries which were much better. The wagyu burger was the biggest disappointment. The meat tasted very gamey. That is not what you expect from wagyu which should be rich and buttery. I ended up trying to cover the taste with toppings just to eat it. Not enjoyable. Our child did enjoy her grass fed beef burger and had no complaints. The atmosphere is great. Live music adds a nice touch. We also liked the shop next door and the outdoor wood fire. We like this place and wanted it to be a great experience. The food and timing just missed the mark this time. Hoping they improve because the setting is really nice.

It's just a cute place to vibe at and be around the community. There is a coffee shop, plant shop, juice shop and small market in the same building which makes it worth the stop. The seasonal ginger bread chia tea from the coffee shop is like Christmas in your mouth. The turkey sandwich is like thanksgiving with cranberry sauce and pecans. The sweet potato burban cupcake was actually to die for. The cake was moist with a carm filling of pecans and bourbon topped with a light cream cheese frosting. The sausage was good though, and a bit salty, which might have balanced the seasoning in this item but the chunks were too few and big to be balanced. - messy egg salad sandwich: a lot of dill, heavy on the pickled flavor, and good red onion crunch. This was just ok. It looked better than it tasted, unless you're a fan of dill. Mainly got this sandwich to try their bread but the bread was an afterthought. - maple rhubarb muffin: hard pass. Can't taste the rhubarb and barely any maple. The bottom also was more burnt than anything. It seems they may have over mixed their batter, muffin didn't have a tender crumb.
